Holy Conditioning

Hi  Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“In order for God to use you, you must be tried, tested, and made approved through Holy conditioning.”~TB

Spiritually Out of Shape

God cannot use the spiritually weak. When you don’t pursue a relationship with Christ and when you don’t do your Biblical reading, you are spiritually unhealthy. As babes in Christ, you may aspire to share the Good News, however, without doing the work, you are unable to exert the endurance, steadfastness, and long-suffering required to work for God. Your spiritual arteries are clogged by the fat of your sins and unrefined impure thinking. God cannot use someone who is spiritually fat. You are not capable of running a race because you will fall prey to the fleshly desires of this world. There is still hope for anyone willing to endure the Biblical training required.

Biblical Training

If you seek an honest relationship with the Lord and you desire to do well for the Kingdom, you must gird up your loins, and do the Biblical training that is necessary for you to successfully run and complete your race. Make no mistake, this is no easy feat as you will be tried and tested and ultimately broken. But through this pruning, God will pour a new Holy foundation for you to begin to understand how to move and operate in His will. Friends, celebrate in your trials and tests because it means that God is looking to pass the baton to you. Train well and watch His wisdom, strengthen you.

Ready to Run

You will know when God is ready to elevate your assignment because temptation, stress, and anguish no longer bother you. Those things are still there, but you understand that they are the evil banana peels that the devil has laid before you. Avoid them. You willingly put down your sinful ways and you excitedly and wholeheartedly seek the Lord with all of your heart. Friends, when this happens, it is a wonderful feeling to live and breathe the joy and peace that God provides as you begin to run the race that he is set before you. Make no mistake, picking up the cross every day is an intentional and willful endeavor. You cannot be lackadaisical or passive about your assignment. But fortunately, through God’s strength and conditioning through the Word, the trials, and the tests, He has prepared you for your destiny.

Today’s Question

Are you ready to go through spiritual conditioning, or are you okay with being spiritually fat?

Psalm 93

1 The LORD is king! He is robed in majesty. Indeed, the LORD is robed in majesty and armed with strength. The world stands firm and cannot be shaken.
2 Your throne, O LORD, has stood from time immemorial. You yourself are from the everlasting past.
3 The floods have risen up, O LORD . The floods have roared like thunder; the floods have lifted their pounding waves.
4 But mightier than the violent raging of the seas, mightier than the breakers on the shore— the LORD above is mightier than these!
5 Your royal laws cannot be changed. Your reign, O LORD, is holy forever and ever.
