A Job Well Done

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“God does not honor shoddy workmanship, so do it well and do it right the first time”~TB

Half Baked

Do not expect to pass your tests with half-baked efforts. God isn’t fooled and He knows that you’re capable of quality workmanship. When you seek half-truths to justify your laziness, you fall prey to fellow shoddy workers looking to steal from honest people, claiming their work is up to snuff. Friends, don’t be lazy. If you have God-given talents, work to the best of your ability. When you don’t, you become stuck in a cycle of dishonesty and turbulence, as you cling desperately to the lies you tell yourself to comfort your existence. God will not bless mediocrity. Get to work.

Repeat Offenders

Examine your life regularly. In doing so, you begin to see the patterns of your life. The honest worker can trace the fruits of their labors and will rest peacefully each night knowing they did a job well done. The lazy worker has to toss and turn in unrest, searching for excuse after excuse to justify their pitiful offerings. If your life is someone else’s fault, it’s time to examine your heart, efforts, and relationship with Christ. When you have an honest relationship with the Lord, He will gently reveal the inequities in your life. Do the work and reap the wonderful relationship with our Father in Heaven.

Today’s Question

Are you doing a job well done or are the lies you spin well done?

Psalm 98

1 Sing a new song to the LORD, for he has done wonderful deeds. His right hand has won a mighty victory; his holy arm has shown his saving power!
2 The LORD has announced his victory and has revealed his righteousness to every nation!
3 He has remembered his promise to love and be faithful to Israel. The ends of the earth have seen the victory of our God.
4 Shout to the LORD, all the earth; break out in praise and sing for joy!
5 Sing your praise to the LORD with the harp, with the harp and melodious song,
6 with trumpets and the sound of the ram’s horn. Make a joyful symphony before the LORD, the King!
7 Let the sea and everything in it shout his praise! Let the earth and all living things join in.
8 Let the rivers clap their hands in glee! Let the hills sing out their songs of joy
9before the LORD, for he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with justice, and the nations with fairness.
