Prove

sherlock-holmes-462978_1920.jpgHi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Stop trying to prove that you are right and just do the work of a righteous person because the proof is in your actions and not your vain words and explanations.”  ~ Jon Barnes

Talkative

People who waste time talking about the work that they need to do with the people they should avoid, typically do little work and continue to do the wrong things with the wrong crowd. Spend more time listening, learning, and growing with the people who are relevant in your life, especially God.

Quiet

People who are focused and quiet tend to stay busy getting the work done with little help or support.  The proof is in the work of a self-starter, not the talker.  The go-getter gets the proof from within and they can see the steps, as God guides His children.  The slackers take, talk, steal, and pretend that they are doing the work.  Quietly ask God for help and He will give it to you. Accept the help.

Proof

When you reject God’s help, methods, and suggestion, you have obtained the proof of your ignorance, stubbornness, and stupidity of arrogance.  When calamity continues in your life, there is yet more proof of your folly.  Go back to the closet with God, humble yourself, repent, pray, and look for the truth in love.  Things will change for the better when you change your ways.
Today’s Question
If you interested in the truth, where is your proof?

Psalm 2

Psalm 2

Why are the nations so angry?
Why do they waste their time with futile plans?
The kings of the earth prepare for battle;
    the rulers plot together
against the Lord
    and against his anointed one.
“Let us break their chains,” they cry,
“and free ourselves from slavery to God.”
But the one who rules in heaven laughs.
    The Lord scoffs at them.
Then in anger he rebukes them,
terrifying them with his fierce fury.
For the Lord declares, “I have placed my chosen king on the throne
in Jerusalem,[a] on my holy mountain.”
The king proclaims the Lord’s decree:
“The Lord said to me, ‘You are my son.[b]
Today I have become your Father.[c]
Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance,
the whole earth as your possession.
You will break[d] them with an iron rod
and smash them like clay pots.’”
10 Now then, you kings, act wisely!
Be warned, you rulers of the earth!
11 Serve the Lord with reverent fear,
    and rejoice with trembling.
12 Submit to God’s royal son,[e] or he will become angry,
and you will be destroyed in the midst of all your activities—
for his anger flares up in an instant.
But what joy for all who take refuge in him!

Love,

Jonathan

Parting

banana-2181470_1920Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Parting of ways from negative people to pursue your own life is a sign of maturity to follow God’s Will, Ways, and Might.”  ~  Jon Barnes

Stand

Only you can make the choices that stand for something positive in your life. So be bold to look, learn, grow, and work for God to do those things that are right.  Taking a stand is an isolated choice of daily decision connected together for a lifetime. In all that you do, understand God’s clues, because you’ll have yours and I’ll have mine.

Search

Search for the missing puzzles of love, joy, liberty, and the freedom to choose from the options you are given.   God’s Ways are for you to give and share; never to lose. The Good in life will seek you out, so always find yourself doing good that finds you.  Wonderful things will continue to flow your way, as this fact should always be understood and expected.

Quit

After you have put in an amount of quality work into following your heart and dreams,
there comes a point in life and time that you’ll understand what it all means.  The clues you get from taking a stand for God becomes more clear each and every day.  Before long you realize that this is who you are and you will not quite on God Today!
Today’s Question
Did you know that Today is every day with God or did you part ways to sing and walk with someone else?

Psalm 1

Oh, the joys of those who do not
follow the advice of the wicked,
    or stand around with sinners,
    or join in with mockers.
But they delight in the law of the Lord,
meditating on it day and night.
They are like trees planted along the riverbank,
    bearing fruit each season.
Their leaves never wither,
and they prosper in all they do.
But not the wicked!
They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind.
They will be condemned at the time of judgment.
Sinners will have no place among the godly.
For the Lord watches over the path of the godly,
but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.

Jonathan

People

people-2557396_1920.jpgHi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Many people misuse, misguide, lie, cheat, steal, and purposefully misplace God’s Truth to distort reality to benefit themselves, which provides a negative relationship, role model, and reality for yourself, kids, parents, grandparents, family, spouse, other people, and God.”  ~  Jon Barnes

Never

Never put yourself in a negative position to where your own spouse, children, family, and friends lose respect for you and the choices that you make each day in your life.  Your laziness and deceit smell like the poor work you put into your relationship with God and your family. The fruit of your work will be as rotten as your motives, mindset, health, body, and willingness to change negative habits. When you stop exercising God’s faith and principles you will behave like the negative characters in the Bible.

Stop

Stop thinking that you know it all or need to see and know everything.  We are not God.  When you are alone and isolated in your stupor and sin, pray, repent, and think again on your own motives of honesty to correct your behavior. Why sabotage your own life?  Evil will blind and bind you up with the devil’s cause, without you even knowing it.  Do not live in isolation, ignorance, and trashy mess.

Learning

Admitting that you are wrong and changing your wicked ways is the beginning steps of true love, repentance, and obedience to God and other people.  Since God will judge your behavior, the effects of your lifestyle will be seen by all who know you, as your mess will be all over your house and into the streets.  Your sin will be a public embarrassment unto yourself unless you learn to obey the truth and stop living in your personal lies!
Today’s Question
Why are you such a hypocrite, who is unwilling to change, repent, or discuss terms of improvement?

Job 42

Job Responds to the Lord

42 Then Job replied to the Lord:
“I know that you can do anything,
and no one can stop you.
You asked, ‘Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorance?’
It is I—and I was talking about things I knew nothing about,
things far too wonderful for me.
You said, ‘Listen and I will speak!
I have some questions for you,
    and you must answer them.’
I had only heard about you before,
but now I have seen you with my own eyes.
I take back everything I said,
and I sit in dust and ashes to show my repentance.”

Conclusion: The Lord Blesses Job

After the Lord had finished speaking to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Temanite: “I am angry with you and your two friends, for you have not spoken accurately about me, as my servant Job has. So take seven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job and offer a burnt offering for yourselves. My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer on your behalf. I will not treat you as you deserve, for you have not spoken accurately about me, as my servant Job has.” So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite did as the Lord commanded them, and the Lord accepted Job’s prayer.
10 When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes. In fact, the Lordgave him twice as much as before! 11 Then all his brothers, sisters, and former friends came and feasted with him in his home. And they consoled him and comforted him because of all the trials the Lord had brought against him. And each of them brought him a gift of money[a] and a gold ring.
12 So the Lord blessed Job in the second half of his life even more than in the beginning. For now he had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 teams of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys. 13 He also gave Job seven more sons and three more daughters. 14 He named his first daughter Jemimah, the second Keziah, and the third Keren-happuch. 15 In all the land no women were as lovely as the daughters of Job. And their father put them into his will along with their brothers.
16 Job lived 140 years after that, living to see four generations of his children and grandchildren. 17 Then he died, an old man who had lived a long, full life.

Jonathan

Repentance

bible-2167778_1920 (1)
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Dear God and people, please forgive me of all the sin I have done in my life to cause hurt, pain, suffering, and unnecessary anguish onto others, knowingly, willingly, and unknowingly and Please help me to stay on track with the Commandments in the Bible.”  ~  Jon Barnes

Goodness

Pretending to do good works with altered selfish motives of evil and greed can be detected by God.  For show, many will look the part to fool people, but God cannot be fooled.  For sure, your lies and fake repentance will burn you up in the end, spiritually, physically, and literally.  Do not lie to God with fake, false, and phony prayers, of heartless intentions.

My Prayers

Allow God to teach you how to pray and work from your secret closet, so that your blessings will be noticed from the Hand of God and not your hands.  Consistently meet and use your prayer closet of repentance, worship, and meditation for learning, reading, counseling, and wisdom to stay connected to God and not your own self-righteous, manmade image.  People will automatically know that God honors and answers your prayers, based on the trail of blessing you leave behind in your walk with God.

Your Prayers

Your prayers, faith, and work will be taken seriously, based on the honest integrity of your obedience and not your cunning abilities to paint half-truths with white lies, deception, and ambiguity.  Your prayers, language, and actions should be direct, genuine, to the point with few words, so that you minimize the risk of lying and vain babbling.  Repent and spread the Word of Faith in your daily practice in life’s journey.
Today’s Question
Are you still pretending in your repentance, faith, charity, love, and thanksgiving, only to be publicly seen and heard by people and not God?

Job 41

The Lord’s Challenge Continues

41 [a]“Can you catch Leviathan[b] with a hook
or put a noose around its jaw?
Can you tie it with a rope through the nose
or pierce its jaw with a spike?
Will it beg you for mercy
    or implore you for pity?
Will it agree to work for you,
to be your slave for life?
Can you make it a pet like a bird,
or give it to your little girls to play with?
Will merchants try to buy it
to sell it in their shops?
Will its hide be hurt by spears
or its head by a harpoon?
If you lay a hand on it,
you will certainly remember the battle that follows.
    You won’t try that again!
[c]No, it is useless to try to capture it.
The hunter who attempts it will be knocked down.
10 And since no one dares to disturb it,
who then can stand up to me?
11 Who has given me anything that I need to pay back?
    Everything under heaven is mine.
12 “I want to emphasize Leviathan’s limbs
and its enormous strength and graceful form.
13 Who can strip off its hide,
and who can penetrate its double layer of armor?[d]
14 Who could pry open its jaws?
    For its teeth are terrible!
15 The scales on its back are like[e] rows of shields
    tightly sealed together.
16 They are so close together
that no air can get between them.
17 Each scale sticks tight to the next.
They interlock and cannot be penetrated.
18 “When it sneezes, it flashes light!
Its eyes are like the red of dawn.
19 Lightning leaps from its mouth;
    flames of fire flash out.
20 Smoke streams from its nostrils
like steam from a pot heated over burning rushes.
21 Its breath would kindle coals,
for flames shoot from its mouth.
22 “The tremendous strength in Leviathan’s neck
    strikes terror wherever it goes.
23 Its flesh is hard and firm
    and cannot be penetrated.
24 Its heart is hard as rock,
    hard as a millstone.
25 When it rises, the mighty are afraid,
    gripped by terror.
26 No sword can stop it,
    no spear, dart, or javelin.
27 Iron is nothing but straw to that creature,
and bronze is like rotten wood.
28 Arrows cannot make it flee.
Stones shot from a sling are like bits of grass.
29 Clubs are like a blade of grass,
and it laughs at the swish of javelins.
30 Its belly is covered with scales as sharp as glass.
It plows up the ground as it drags through the mud.
31 “Leviathan makes the water boil with its commotion.
It stirs the depths like a pot of ointment.
32 The water glistens in its wake,
    making the sea look white.
33 Nothing on earth is its equal,
    no other creature so fearless.
34 Of all the creatures, it is the proudest.
It is the king of beasts.”

Love,

Jonathan

Plate

flat-lay-2583212_1920.jpgHi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“There is enough on your plate to do your job, work, planning, reading, studying, eating, and  exercising well, so that your relationship with God and others improve as you age, for all to see and tell.” ~  Jon Barnes

Fork

Many are called but few are chosen because we are so busy sticking forks into people’s eyes with the mean things we say and do.  Close your mouth, get to work, exercise your faith, eat less, and use your fork properly.  Stop blaming everyone for your own problems, faults, and lack of focus. Stick a fork in your balloon of pride and do what God says, by not being lazy or foolish.

Spoon

Expect what God says to work for you in your life, otherwise, you are not eating and chewing your spiritual food correctly.  The more you chew on God’s work, the better you will understand and digest the milk, meat, vegetables, and potatoes.  Drink and keep lots of Holy Water, with the Blood of Jesus to keep yourself clean after each meal.

Napkin

Bless your food, give thanks, close your mouth, chew your food, stop complaining, and talking about negative stuff all of the time.  Wipe your face and hands during and after your meal and be thankful for what you have and the improvements of progress.  Take the time to finish what God has on your plate and stop eating from the plate of others.  No need to be greedy, gaining weight, being nosey, and doing incomplete work.
Today’s Question
Will your relationship with God, your spouse, family, friends, and enemies improve because your plate is cleaned each day by obeying God and finishing your own work?

Job 40

40 Then the Lord said to Job,
“Do you still want to argue with the Almighty?
You are God’s critic, but do you have the answers?”

Job Responds to the Lord

Then Job replied to the Lord,
“I am nothing—how could I ever find the answers?
I will cover my mouth with my hand.
I have said too much already.
I have nothing more to say.”

The Lord Challenges Job Again

Then the Lord answered Job from the whirlwind:
“Brace yourself like a man,
because I have some questions for you,
    and you must answer them.
“Will you discredit my justice
and condemn me just to prove you are right?
Are you as strong as God?
Can you thunder with a voice like his?
10 All right, put on your glory and splendor,
    your honor and majesty.
11 Give vent to your anger.
Let it overflow against the proud.
12 Humiliate the proud with a glance;
walk on the wicked where they stand.
13 Bury them in the dust.
Imprison them in the world of the dead.
14 Then even I would praise you,
for your own strength would save you.
15 “Take a look at Behemoth,[a]
which I made, just as I made you.
It eats grass like an ox.
16 See its powerful loins
and the muscles of its belly.
17 Its tail is as strong as a cedar.
The sinews of its thighs are knit tightly together.
18 Its bones are tubes of bronze.
Its limbs are bars of iron.
19 It is a prime example of God’s handiwork,
and only its Creator can threaten it.
20 The mountains offer it their best food,
where all the wild animals play.
21 It lies under the lotus plants,[b]
hidden by the reeds in the marsh.
22 The lotus plants give it shade
among the willows beside the stream.
23 It is not disturbed by the raging river,
not concerned when the swelling Jordan rushes around it.
24 No one can catch it off guard
or put a ring in its nose and lead it away.

Jonathan

Enabling

cone-387056_1920
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
When someone doesn’t believe in marriage, family, values, and ethics of God’s wisdom, mercy, grace, love, structure, and commandments, you should believe them by finding a mate that does.”  ~  Jon Barnes

Job

A person will never need a job if they can get milk, food, meat, clothes, and stuff for free.  There is no incentive to improve, learn, grow, work, and love in any relationship.  We all have a job to play with rules, regulations, commandments, and obligations.  Good relationships thrive on the quality of work and faith you bring to the table of your life, family, friends, and job.

Allow

Don’t allow people to ignore or fumble around with their responsibilities.  Expect and demand better of yourself and others will follow when we follow God’s plans.   Being meek and humble in your pride is cool, but be aggressive in doing excellent work in your faith.  People will know what you stand for and make their own choices.

Standard

The standards that you set with God’s best will help you to identify your spouse, raise your children, and accomplish the work of faith in your lifestyle of love.  Love is not a rug to step on.  God is love, but he will let you go to hell, by your own choice.  God does not enable anyone.  He is very clear and specific with His Instructions and the work of your faith matters.
Today’s Question
Why is it that many people will not enter into the Gates of Heaven or do you think God will leave the Pearly Gates Unlocked for the disobedient people who did nothing?

Job 39

The Lord’s Challenge Continues

39 “Do you know when the wild goats give birth?
Have you watched as deer are born in the wild?
Do you know how many months they carry their young?
Are you aware of the time of their delivery?
They crouch down to give birth to their young
    and deliver their offspring.
Their young grow up in the open fields,
then leave home and never return.
“Who gives the wild donkey its freedom?
    Who untied its ropes?
I have placed it in the wilderness;
    its home is the wasteland.
It hates the noise of the city
and has no driver to shout at it.
The mountains are its pastureland,
where it searches for every blade of grass.
“Will the wild ox consent to being tamed?
Will it spend the night in your stall?
10 Can you hitch a wild ox to a plow?
Will it plow a field for you?
11 Given its strength, can you trust it?
Can you leave and trust the ox to do your work?
12 Can you rely on it to bring home your grain
and deliver it to your threshing floor?
13 “The ostrich flaps her wings grandly,
but they are no match for the feathers of the stork.
14 She lays her eggs on top of the earth,
letting them be warmed in the dust.
15 She doesn’t worry that a foot might crush them
or a wild animal might destroy them.
16 She is harsh toward her young,
as if they were not her own.
She doesn’t care if they die.
17 For God has deprived her of wisdom.
He has given her no understanding.
18 But whenever she jumps up to run,
she passes the swiftest horse with its rider.
19 “Have you given the horse its strength
or clothed its neck with a flowing mane?
20 Did you give it the ability to leap like a locust?
    Its majestic snorting is terrifying!
21 It paws the earth and rejoices in its strength
when it charges out to battle.
22 It laughs at fear and is unafraid.
It does not run from the sword.
23 The arrows rattle against it,
and the spear and javelin flash.
24 It paws the ground fiercely
and rushes forward into battle when the ram’s horn blows.
25 It snorts at the sound of the horn.
It senses the battle in the distance.
It quivers at the captain’s commands and the noise of battle.
26 “Is it your wisdom that makes the hawk soar
and spread its wings toward the south?
27 Is it at your command that the eagle rises
to the heights to make its nest?
28 It lives on the cliffs,
making its home on a distant, rocky crag.
29 From there it hunts its prey,
    keeping watch with piercing eyes.
30 Its young gulp down blood.
Where there’s a carcass, there you’ll find it.”
Love,
Jonathan

Sex

brown-518324_1920Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“The sexuality of a person is regulated from the eyes, imagination, and mind of a person and I refuse to glare, fantasize, or touch things that will cause me to sin or do not belong to me in my marriage.”  ~ Jon Barnes

Porn

Pornography, gambling, infidelity, fornication, lying, cheating, and stealing and all sinful.  These are personal habits and choices that are hard to get rid of.  Like, crack, coke, meth, opioids, alcohol, drugs and other abusive behaviors that exploit people numbs the mind, kills the heart, and robs the soul, avoid these things at all cost. Ask God to give you better things to do with your time to enjoy what is yours and not mine.

Access

Easy access and free samples seem harmless to the mind of a child, but you are no longer a child and should know better.  The things you do now, your children and family will copy, which may be a snare to the next generations to come.  Your depression, addictions, and medical complications will come from your parents’ inability to solve these basic problems and your lust for copying stupid activities of old.  Lazy people don’t want honest solutions, otherwise, they would use them.

Human

Human trafficking of the mind is at an all-time high with drugs, sex, and bad music messages that robs the innocence of our youth and society.  We must be proactive and vigilant in explaining these things to our kids, families, and friends because it is a cultural, worldwide, epidemic.  Let us not be drunk, confused, blinded, or ignorant in the wicked ways of our mainstreamed, worldwide, Internet culture.  Take a stand, protect the future of your family, and treat sin like an opioid addiction.
Today’s Question
Are you fighting the good fight of faith in front of your computer, TV, colleagues, friends, family, and enemies or has the sex appeal of laziness, substance abuse, dishonest habits, and lust clouded your judgment?

Job 38

The Lord Challenges Job

38 Then the Lord answered Job from the whirlwind:
“Who is this that questions my wisdom
    with such ignorant words?
Brace yourself like a man,
because I have some questions for you,
    and you must answer them.
“Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?
Tell me, if you know so much.
Who determined its dimensions
and stretched out the surveying line?
What supports its foundations,
    and who laid its cornerstone
as the morning stars sang together
and all the angels[a] shouted for joy?
“Who kept the sea inside its boundaries
as it burst from the womb,
and as I clothed it with clouds
and wrapped it in thick darkness?
10 For I locked it behind barred gates,
    limiting its shores.
11 I said, ‘This far and no farther will you come.
Here your proud waves must stop!’
12 “Have you ever commanded the morning to appear
and caused the dawn to rise in the east?
13 Have you made daylight spread to the ends of the earth,
to bring an end to the night’s wickedness?
14 As the light approaches,
    the earth takes shape like clay pressed beneath a seal;
it is robed in brilliant colors.[b]
15 The light disturbs the wicked
and stops the arm that is raised in violence.
16 “Have you explored the springs from which the seas come?
    Have you explored their depths?
17 Do you know where the gates of death are located?
Have you seen the gates of utter gloom?
18 Do you realize the extent of the earth?
Tell me about it if you know!
19 “Where does light come from,
    and where does darkness go?
20 Can you take each to its home?
Do you know how to get there?
21 But of course you know all this!
For you were born before it was all created,
and you are so very experienced!
22 “Have you visited the storehouses of the snow
or seen the storehouses of hail?
23 (I have reserved them as weapons for the time of trouble,
for the day of battle and war.)
24 Where is the path to the source of light?
Where is the home of the east wind?
25 “Who created a channel for the torrents of rain?
Who laid out the path for the lightning?
26 Who makes the rain fall on barren land,
in a desert where no one lives?
27 Who sends rain to satisfy the parched ground
and make the tender grass spring up?
28 “Does the rain have a father?
Who gives birth to the dew?
29 Who is the mother of the ice?
Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens?
30 For the water turns to ice as hard as rock,
and the surface of the water freezes.
31 “Can you direct the movement of the stars—
binding the cluster of the Pleiades
or loosening the cords of Orion?
32 Can you direct the constellations through the seasons
or guide the Bear with her cubs across the heavens?
33 Do you know the laws of the universe?
Can you use them to regulate the earth?
34 “Can you shout to the clouds
    and make it rain?
35 Can you make lightning appear
and cause it to strike as you direct?
36 Who gives intuition to the heart
    and instinct to the mind?
37 Who is wise enough to count all the clouds?
Who can tilt the water jars of heaven
38 when the parched ground is dry
and the soil has hardened into clods?
39 “Can you stalk prey for a lioness
and satisfy the young lions’ appetites
40 as they lie in their dens
    or crouch in the thicket?
41 Who provides food for the ravens
when their young cry out to God
    and wander about in hunger?
Love,
Jonathan
