Last Night

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Last night I was tortured, afflicted, distressed, and tormented because I was made to do bad things and I could not stop myself, enslaved to do evil!” ~ Jon Barnes

Yesterday

I was going to jail after being in a car with some fools, in which one of them, I had to shoot!  The officer stepped into the car and the choice given to me was to not shoot him and go straight to jail for my crimes.  The deal was bad from the start and I didn’t belong there or knew the participants.  Was I drunk, out of my body and mind?  Accept who you are? But, who am I?

Tortured

There are not the decisions I would make for my life and family but they were made for me by someone else and I had no control or choice in any of the situations. I was quickly rolling down the tallest mountain of problems, the likes I’ve never seen being both victim and criminal at the scene of all my crimes. When will my grief end and will I get a second chance? Who is torturing me with this crazy song and dance?

Morning

I woke up in mourning, this morning wondering how I was going to get out of jail, make my wrongs right, and fix my life. If only I had one more chance to write a better life plan of actions, classes, degrees, business deals, to make it all better. I would read every good book and follow the best plans to the letter. Ok, I’m ready to do this, come on, let’s Go. Then I woke up from the realistic stage play of my dream that rocked my world and pulled it apart from the seams.

Today’s Question
Did God get your attention or are you still evil in reality, full of confusion, stuck in your daily dream of a life deferred?

Exodus 24

Israel Accepts the Lord’s Covenant

24 Then the Lord instructed Moses: “Come up here to me, and bring along Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of Israel’s elders. All of you must worship from a distance. Only Moses is allowed to come near to the Lord. The others must not come near, and none of the other people are allowed to climb up the mountain with him.”
Then Moses went down to the people and repeated all the instructions and regulations the Lord had given him. All the people answered with one voice, “We will do everything the Lord has commanded.”
Then Moses carefully wrote down all the Lord’s instructions. Early the next morning Moses got up and built an altar at the foot of the mountain. He also set up twelve pillars, one for each of the twelve tribes of Israel. Then he sent some of the young Israelite men to present burnt offerings and to sacrifice bulls as peace offerings to the Lord. Moses drained half the blood from these animals into basins. The other half he splattered against the altar.
Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it aloud to the people. Again they all responded, “We will do everything the Lord has commanded. We will obey.”
Then Moses took the blood from the basins and splattered it over the people, declaring, “Look, this blood confirms the covenant the Lord has made with you in giving you these instructions.”
Then Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel climbed up the mountain. 10 There they saw the God of Israel. Under his feet there seemed to be a surface of brilliant blue lapis lazuli, as clear as the sky itself. 11 And though these nobles of Israel gazed upon God, he did not destroy them. In fact, they ate a covenant meal, eating and drinking in his presence!
12 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain. Stay there, and I will give you the tablets of stone on which I have inscribed the instructions and commands so you can teach the people.” 13 So Moses and his assistant Joshua set out, and Moses climbed up the mountain of God.
14 Moses told the elders, “Stay here and wait for us until we come back. Aaron and Hur are here with you. If anyone has a dispute while I am gone, consult with them.”
15 Then Moses climbed up the mountain, and the cloud covered it. 16 And the glory of the Lord settled down on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh day the Lord called to Moses from inside the cloud. 17 To the Israelites at the foot of the mountain, the glory of the Lord appeared at the summit like a consuming fire. 18 Then Moses disappeared into the cloud as he climbed higher up the mountain. He remained on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

Attention

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“We attract who we are and repel what we are not, which is who you are, what you love, and why it has your attention with attraction.” ~ Jon Barnes

Ask yourself

Why am I attracted to poop?  Smell yourself from the soul and you’ll understand why people lie to themselves every day. You cannot change anything that you cannot smell. You can smell yourself, but you don’t want to. This is why God does the work for you so you can detect and correct your heart, thinking, and actions. The people around you will smell you coming before you get asked the question: “Do I stink?” God Smells us all the time!

Attention

Place your attention on each little small steps of faith and stop calling people names, writing them off as trash, and playing God. Love people as yourself by holding them to high standards with examples of God’s character in your life.  You will bring people up because they will admire your beautiful look of love-works. Otherwise, your path will smell like the poop you step in each day and even though you will believe your actions smell like roses.  Wake up, clean up and pay attention to the smell and see your direction blossom with love works.

Love Works

Love Works is a concept that takes care of personal responsibilities that are naturally overlooked, neglected, and understated. We idolize trash, lust, money, fame, and the likes. Avoid idling by cleaning your body, home, room, car, work space, and maintain good relationships. Clean up and show signs of your true character.  Otherwise you are a pig. Clean living attracts clean people wanting to do their best for God. Your stinky mess is not clean living with your sorry excuses. Be honest and consistent. Ask God to execute these excuses from your life. Balance your love works to reflect God’s lifestyle of simplicity, cleanliness, focus, patience, faithfulness, and the natural beauty that comes from committed love works. Then relax in your love works with God and your family. Be kind.
Today’s Question
Are you attracting Love Workers based on your Love Actions and Attention to simple nurturing details of life with God’s commandments or do you idolize mess?

1 John 5

Faith in the Incarnate Son of God

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
This is the one who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. For there are three that testify: the[a] Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement. We accept human testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son. 10 Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Concluding Affirmations

13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
16 If you see any brother or sister commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray and God will give them life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that you should pray about that. 17 All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death.
18 We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them. 19 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. 20 We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
21 Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.
Love,
Jonathan
