Cover Up

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
Cover Up your heart, mind, body, spirit, and soul with God’s Spirit, so that His Love will operate your life and His Light will Cover Up your wickedness!” ~ Jon Barnes

Feelings

We were born with the capacity to become evil with our feelings and choices in our daily lifestyles. God felt it best to give us a chance to understand what is feels like to have such a great responsibility to control your own life and produce the proper course of action for your destiny of eternity. We are now practicing whether or not we will listen and love God. Let us see if you are following the directions of How to Bake God’s Cake!

Ingredients

God gave us the means to procreate life, be fruitful, like a tree of life, and multiply onto the earth. Our instructions were to take care of the earth, love, mate, and teach our next generations about God’s ways, love, wisdom, and power, without covering up God’s Words with our evil, pride, thoughts, lust, and deeds. I feel there is no time to grumble, as we are all quickly approaching the end of our allotted time, so don’t stumble or drop your cake.

Grumble

The injustice, deceit, and grumbling that we tend to participate in does not tell, teach, or expose the next generation to the truth about God’s Love.  Evil tries to Cover Up, Make Up, and Avoid the tough question; Do you love God and your neighbor as yourself? For many of us the answer is No and we simply cannot cover this up any longer. We must follow God’s example and ways of love so that we do not waste the Truth of God with loveless lies, greed, and lavish lust, in the short life span we have.
Today’s Question
Can you handle The Truth and the Tough Questions about your own life, lies, lust, greed, waste, disobedience, and pride to net you a blessing or a curse; Or would you like your death sentence or blessing right NOW from GOD?

Genesis 32

32 [a]As Jacob started on his way again, angels of God came to meet him. When Jacob saw them, he exclaimed, “This is God’s camp!” So he named the place Mahanaim.[b]

Jacob Sends Gifts to Esau

Then Jacob sent messengers ahead to his brother, Esau, who was living in the region of Seir in the land of Edom. He told them, “Give this message to my master Esau: ‘Humble greetings from your servant Jacob. Until now I have been living with Uncle Laban, and now I own cattle, donkeys, flocks of sheep and goats, and many servants, both men and women. I have sent these messengers to inform my lord of my coming, hoping that you will be friendly to me.’”
After delivering the message, the messengers returned to Jacob and reported, “We met your brother, Esau, and he is already on his way to meet you—with an army of 400 men!” Jacob was terrified at the news. He divided his household, along with the flocks and herds and camels, into two groups. He thought, “If Esau meets one group and attacks it, perhaps the other group can escape.”
Then Jacob prayed, “O God of my grandfather Abraham, and God of my father, Isaac—O Lord, you told me, ‘Return to your own land and to your relatives.’ And you promised me, ‘I will treat you kindly.’ 10 I am not worthy of all the unfailing love and faithfulness you have shown to me, your servant. When I left home and crossed the Jordan River, I owned nothing except a walking stick. Now my household fills two large camps! 11 Lord, please rescue me from the hand of my brother, Esau. I am afraid that he is coming to attack me, along with my wives and children. 12 But you promised me, ‘I will surely treat you kindly, and I will multiply your descendants until they become as numerous as the sands along the seashore—too many to count.’”
13 Jacob stayed where he was for the night. Then he selected these gifts from his possessions to present to his brother, Esau: 14 200 female goats, 20 male goats, 200 ewes, 20 rams, 15 30 female camels with their young, 40 cows, 10 bulls, 20 female donkeys, and 10 male donkeys. 16 He divided these animals into herds and assigned each to different servants. Then he told his servants, “Go ahead of me with the animals, but keep some distance between the herds.”
17 He gave these instructions to the men leading the first group: “When my brother, Esau, meets you, he will ask, ‘Whose servants are you? Where are you going? Who owns these animals?’ 18 You must reply, ‘They belong to your servant Jacob, but they are a gift for his master Esau. Look, he is coming right behind us.’”
19 Jacob gave the same instructions to the second and third herdsmen and to all who followed behind the herds: “You must say the same thing to Esau when you meet him. 20 And be sure to say, ‘Look, your servant Jacob is right behind us.’”
Jacob thought, “I will try to appease him by sending gifts ahead of me. When I see him in person, perhaps he will be friendly to me.” 21 So the gifts were sent on ahead, while Jacob himself spent that night in the camp.

Jacob Wrestles with God

22 During the night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two servant wives, and his eleven sons and crossed the Jabbok River with them. 23 After taking them to the other side, he sent over all his possessions.
24 This left Jacob all alone in the camp, and a man came and wrestled with him until the dawn began to break. 25 When the man saw that he would not win the match, he touched Jacob’s hip and wrenched it out of its socket. 26 Then the man said, “Let me go, for the dawn is breaking!”
But Jacob said, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”
27 “What is your name?” the man asked.
He replied, “Jacob.”
28 “Your name will no longer be Jacob,” the man told him. “From now on you will be called Israel,[c] because you have fought with God and with men and have won.”
29 “Please tell me your name,” Jacob said.
“Why do you want to know my name?” the man replied. Then he blessed Jacob there.
30 Jacob named the place Peniel (which means “face of God”), for he said, “I have seen God face to face, yet my life has been spared.” 31 The sun was rising as Jacob left Peniel,[d] and he was limping because of the injury to his hip. 32 (Even today the people of Israel don’t eat the tendon near the hip socket because of what happened that night when the man strained the tendon of Jacob’s hip.)

Swimming

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“I love to swim in the lake of truth, justice, honesty, and integrity because, I can see where I’m going and the direction God has set for me now and into the next page or age.” ~ Jon Barnes

Wade

Get into the water each day and start moving around so that you can stand, kick, jump, play, and work on your basic skills and fundamentals. Enjoy the fresh feeling of water and sunshine, while exercising your muscles, mind, memory, and methods. Ask God to teach you how to kick, stroke, breathe, and develop your form for swimming. Swim every day with God and stay prepared and in shape to complete your daily race. Imagine what God’s heavenly pool will look like?

Form

God is a master at teaching you old and new techniques in swimming that are specifically designed for your needs to prepare you for your journey. Each person must swim their own routine and race for their own projects and dreams in life. All of God’s children are playing on the same swim team and there is plenty of room to splash, learn and grow.  Keep swimming, working, and playing for life so that you cross the finish line and complete you personal race against evil. It is better to float, working on your form and stroke in the water with God, than winning gold medals and breaking swimming speed records in hell.

Record

Everything you do in the pool of life is recorded by God, like a video camera and it is stored into a Book like a wave file, so that you can see how God will judge you and your efforts with your swimming lessons of life. Are you a good student, did you show up prepared, ready for class, with homework, a good attitude, love, forgiveness, patience, kindness, long suffering, mercy, and other tools and techniques taught by God Himself.  Yes, each lesson you live and swim is recorded to help you learn from your mistakes.  Replay them in your mind to avoid making them again and forgive yourself, as you forgive others for making similar mistakes. Keep Swimming!
Today’s Question

Are you enjoying the endurance training and swimming lessons taught by God in His Holy Water or would you rather swim in the lake of Fire Forever with your evil fake family and friends?

Revelation 21

A New Heaven and a New Earth

21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[b] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

The New Jerusalem, the Bride of the Lamb

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. 11 It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. 12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. 13 There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. 14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls. 16 The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia[c] in length, and as wide and high as it is long. 17 The angel measured the wall using human measurement, and it was 144 cubits[d] thick.[e] 18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. 19 The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.[f] 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.
22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Love,

Jonathan
