Go Fish

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“While you can share the Good News with your peers, it is important that they go fish on their own.”

TB

To Know

God does not forge a relationship with you through someone else. Sure, He may have someone tap you on the shoulder, however, the relationship itself is one you must cultivate on your own. That’s because to know God is to spend time with Him of your own volition. A ‘holy’ person cannot create something that only you and God can build.

Invest

When you know God well, it’s easy to get caught up in wanting others to know Him too. The reality is, every single person must do the work to build the relationship. Getting to know Christ is an investment that pays infinite dividends. That said, those dividends must be from each individual person. So, if you truly desire to know God, you must go fishing on your own.

Today’s Question

Do you know God or are you reading the cliff notes of someone else’s experience?

Enjoy the reading.

Ezekiel 47

1 In my vision, the man brought me back to the entrance of the Temple. There I saw a stream flowing east from beneath the door of the Temple and passing to the right of the altar on its south side. 2 The man brought me outside the wall through the north gateway and led me around to the eastern entrance. There I could see the water flowing out through the south side of the east gateway. 3 Measuring as he went, he took me along the stream for 1,750 feet and then led me across. The water was up to my ankles. 4 He measured off another 1,750 feet and led me across again. This time the water was up to my knees. After another 1,750 feet, it was up to my waist. 5 Then he measured another 1,750 feet, and the river was too deep to walk across. It was deep enough to swim in, but too deep to walk through. 6 He asked me, “Have you been watching, son of man?” Then he led me back along the riverbank. 7 When I returned, I was surprised by the sight of many trees growing on both sides of the river. 8 Then he said to me, “This river flows east through the desert into the valley of the Dead Sea. The waters of this stream will make the salty waters of the Dead Sea fresh and pure. 9 There will be swarms of living things wherever the water of this river flows. Fish will abound in the Dead Sea, for its waters will become fresh. Life will flourish wherever this water flows. 10 Fishermen will stand along the shores of the Dead Sea. All the way from En-gedi to En-eglaim, the shores will be covered with nets drying in the sun. Fish of every kind will fill the Dead Sea, just as they fill the Mediterranean. 11 But the marshes and swamps will not be purified; they will still be salty. 12 Fruit trees of all kinds will grow along both sides of the river. The leaves of these trees will never turn brown and fall, and there will always be fruit on their branches. There will be a new crop every month, for they are watered by the river flowing from the Temple. The fruit will be for food and the leaves for healing.” 13 This is what the Sovereign LORD says: “Divide the land in this way for the twelve tribes of Israel: The descendants of Joseph will be given two shares of land. 14 Otherwise each tribe will receive an equal share. I took a solemn oath and swore that I would give this land to your ancestors, and it will now come to you as your possession. 15 “These are the boundaries of the land: The northern border will run from the Mediterranean toward Hethlon, then on through Lebo-hamath to Zedad; 16 then it will run to Berothah and Sibraim, which are on the border between Damascus and Hamath, and finally to Hazer-hatticon, on the border of Hauran. 17 So the northern border will run from the Mediterranean to Hazar-enan, on the border between Hamath to the north and Damascus to the south. 18 “The eastern border starts at a point between Hauran and Damascus and runs south along the Jordan River between Israel and Gilead, past the Dead Sea and as far south as Tamar. This will be the eastern border. 19 “The southern border will go west from Tamar to the waters of Meribah at Kadesh and then follow the course of the Brook of Egypt to the Mediterranean. This will be the southern border. 20 “On the west side, the Mediterranean itself will be your border from the southern border to the point where the northern border begins, opposite Lebo-hamath. 21 “Divide the land within these boundaries among the tribes of Israel. 22 Distribute the land as an allotment for yourselves and for the foreigners who have joined you and are raising their families among you. They will be like native-born Israelites to you and will receive an allotment among the tribes. 23 These foreigners are to be given land within the territory of the tribe with whom they now live. I, the Sovereign LORD, have spoken!

Solo

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Your walk with God is a solo act and your direction, fate, and blessing will only come from Him, as an obedient child of God.” ~ Jon Barnes

Looking

People are always looking for someone to tell them what they should do with their lives.  Your life is your own and you should ask God how to move forward, study, work, live, save, and spend your time, money, resources, and affections.  Since God is the author of our faith, fate, and future, let Him be the CEO over what you are doing.

CEO

Christ Entrepreneurial Operations are wonderful biblical guidelines of love that we use, share, and teach to others in our daily routines, discoveries, and plans we make for helping people. We help ourselves by being obedient first and God provides the rest. You cannot provide or create any of God’s resources, yet they are here on the planet, long before our creation. The Universe is God’s Creation, not your own.

Creation

Walking with God is a cool thing to do and it comes with many challenges of being faithful, organized, productive, honest, and focused on what the Will of God is for your life.  Learning about the will of God for your life will become obvious, as you keep walking, listening, learning, and loving the process of what God is doing in your daily routines. The excitement of new things is always on point.

1 Samuel 3

The Lord Calls Samuel

The boy Samuel ministered before the Lord under Eli. In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions.
One night Eli, whose eyes were becoming so weak that he could barely see, was lying down in his usual place. The lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was lying down in the house of the Lord, where the ark of God was. Then the Lord called Samuel.
Samuel answered, “Here I am.” And he ran to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.”
But Eli said, “I did not call; go back and lie down.” So he went and lay down.
Again the Lord called, “Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.”
“My son,” Eli said, “I did not call; go back and lie down.”
Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord: The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him.
A third time the Lord called, “Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.”
Then Eli realized that the Lord was calling the boy. So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
10 The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!”
Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”
11 And the Lord said to Samuel: “See, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who hears about it tingle. 12 At that time I will carry out against Eli everythingI spoke against his family—from beginning to end. 13 For I told him that I would judge his family forever because of the sin he knew about; his sons blasphemed God,[a] and he failed to restrain them. 14 Therefore I swore to the house of Eli, ‘The guilt of Eli’s house will never be atoned for by sacrifice or offering.’”
15 Samuel lay down until morning and then opened the doors of the house of the Lord. He was afraid to tell Eli the vision, 16 but Eli called him and said, “Samuel, my son.”
Samuel answered, “Here I am.”
17 “What was it he said to you?” Eli asked. “Do not hide it from me. May God deal with you, be it ever so severely, if you hide from me anything he told you.” 18 So Samuel told him everything, hiding nothing from him. Then Eli said, “He is the Lord; let him do what is good in his eyes.”
19 The Lord was with Samuel as he grew up, and he let none of Samuel’s words fall to the ground. 20 And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba recognized that Samuel was attested as a prophet of the Lord. 21 The Lord continued to appear at Shiloh, and there he revealed himself to Samuel through his word.

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Many times we can be judged harshly for being patient, long-suffering, and honest, while doing good acts of kindness, because displaying a loving lifestyle, with God’s stamp of approval, can seem weak to an evil people in a greedy world.” ~ Jon Barnes

Beauty

The beauty of Love is not judged by how you make up your face, hair, or whatever you wear. It comes from your walk with God, the silence of your words and the thunder from your faith, hope, charity, and good work. People can see the glow of love, from the heart of God, on your face without make up. Try to Judge your quality of beauty from your own heart by imitating God’s love from within, onto your face, body, mind, spirit, home, work, and all over the place. In every case, Real beauty is a sacred gift from God, internally hidden, spiritually seen, full of faith, pure, honest, and clean. Did you save your gift?

Save

Save your money you spend on your external products to cover what is not seen by the Spirit of God, since an evil, ugly heart can not paint it’s way into heaven, with colorful toes, nails, lips, eyebrows, or faces. Save the gift of Love that God has for you by obeying God’s logic.  Judge how much time and energy you put into loving God, with honest lifestyle living and biblical principles of kindness and then you will reap the beauty that you have sown into the Kingdom of eternity forever. God’s logic saves you time, money, and heart ache from Hell’s Hot Colors of Fake Beauty. Train your eyes to see what is in your heart.

Naturally

Your body, mind, soul, spirit, and face will adjust and shine brightly like the Son of Love, because honest repentance is true in all that we think and do. The Holy Spirit of God will help the eyes of your heart send signals to your brain and communicate change throughout your body, soul, and spirit.   Notice the proof of God’s love will clean up your body, face, and mess that you have created, without any fake make up that is overstated and used to cover up problems. Learn to naturally judge, save, and see your love grow onto your face from God’s love all around the place. What you do, give, and seek, will show how much God’s love in complete in your heart, mind and face!

Today’s Question

Did you face the truth and judge your heart with God’s standards of Beauty or are you just faking out and covering up your problems and organisms with disobedience?

John 17

Jesus Prays to Be Glorified

17 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed:
“Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you.For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify mein your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.

Jesus Prays for His Disciples

“I have revealed you[a] to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me. I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours. 10 All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them. 11 I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of[b] your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one. 12 While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by[c] that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.
13 “I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them. 14 I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. 15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17 Sanctify them by[d] the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. 19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.

Jesus Prays for All Believers

20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
25 “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 26 I have made you[e] known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”
Love,
Jonathan

Exposure

camera-lens-458045_1920

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Many of us expose ourselves to unnecessary pain, grief, and problems by not studying, learning, and going to God with your problems, needs, talents, diet, and weaknesses.” ~ Jon Barnes

Diet

Get a daily dose of God each morning with the proper prayer, reading, and reflecting so that you may meditate on Good things and thoughts to bridle your evil tongue!  Speak less, listen more, and use your tongue for eating fresh vegetables and fruits more often to balance your physical, mental, and spiritual weight management.

Discovery

You may find better solutions and reduce stress and potential problems by doing the new good ideas God has given you.  Obey the discovery of God and His purpose in your life and find new cures to old problems with simple biblical truth and practices.  Improve your lifestyle by listening to God and exposing your weakness in the flesh and strengthen your spirit and faith in God.

Raw

Eat the truth Raw, and uncooked, like fresh vegetables so that you can expose yourself to the maximum amount of holy nutrition available for your mind, body, and soul. The food of God is here is you want it, seek it, and use it!  Cut the food into small sized portions and mix fruit and vegetables to blend the taste. Expose yourself to new cultures, from God’s perspective.

Revelation 19

Threefold Hallelujah Over Babylon’s Fall

19 After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting:
“Hallelujah!
Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,
for true and just are his judgments.
He has condemned the great prostitute
who corrupted the earth by her adulteries.
He has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”
And again they shouted:
“Hallelujah!
The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever.”
The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne. And they cried:
“Amen, Hallelujah!”
Then a voice came from the throne, saying:
“Praise our God,
    all you his servants,
you who fear him,
    both great and small!”
Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing water sand like loud peals of thunder, shouting:
“Hallelujah!
For our Lord God Almighty reigns.
Let us rejoice and be glad
    and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.
Fine linen, bright and clean,
    was given her to wear.”
(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)
Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”
10 At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.”

The Heavenly Warrior Defeats the Beast

11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”[a] He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
king of kings and lord of lords.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God, 18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and the mighty, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, great and small.”
19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army. 20 But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. 21 The rest were killed with the sword coming out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.

Love,

Jonathan
