“If the opposition’s tools weren’t effective, he wouldn’t use them.”~TB
The devil can only push you around if you allow him to. That doesn’t mean his attacks won’t be challenging. It means that you have a choice in how you respond to them. Don’t cower in fear, stand tall on the Truth.
Sometimes God will allow a hardship to reoccur because He’s looking for you to choose the right reaction. If you continually react in fear and submission, you aren’t passing the test. Instead of reacting fearfully, react strategically. Know that it’s only a smokescreen and you can overcome whatever the evil one throws your way.
Are you ready to stop reacting with fear?

1How wonderful to be wise, to analyze and interpret things. Wisdom lights up a person’s face, softening its harshness.
2Obey the king since you vowed to God that you would.
3Don’t try to avoid doing your duty, and don’t stand with those who plot evil, for the king can do whatever he wants.
4His command is backed by great power. No one can resist or question it.
5Those who obey him will not be punished. Those who are wise will find a time and a way to do what is right,
6for there is a time and a way for everything, even when a person is in trouble.
7Indeed, how can people avoid what they don’t know is going to happen?
8None of us can hold back our spirit from departing. None of us has the power to prevent the day of our death. There is no escaping that obligation, that dark battle. And in the face of death, wickedness will certainly not rescue the wicked.
9I have thought deeply about all that goes on here under the sun, where people have the power to hurt each other.
10I have seen wicked people buried with honor. Yet they were the very ones who frequented the Temple and are now praised in the same city where they committed their crimes! This, too, is meaningless.
11When a crime is not punished quickly, people feel it is safe to do wrong.
12But even though a person sins a hundred times and still lives a long time, I know that those who fear God will be better off.
13The wicked will not prosper, for they do not fear God. Their days will never grow long like the evening shadows.
14And this is not all that is meaningless in our world. In this life, good people are often treated as though they were wicked, and wicked people are often treated as though they were good. This is so meaningless!
15So I recommend having fun, because there is nothing better for people in this world than to eat, drink, and enjoy life. That way they will experience some happiness along with all the hard work God gives them under the sun.
16In my search for wisdom and in my observation of people’s burdens here on earth, I discovered that there is ceaseless activity, day and night.
17I realized that no one can discover everything God is doing under the sun. Not even the wisest people discover everything, no matter what they claim.
“Time, therapy, prayer, and rest are needed to repair physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual damages in our lives and this work is individually focused to require that you take a break from yourself so that God can operate on your behalf.” ~ Jon Barnes
Your downtime requires you to close your mouth, sit down, turn off your electronics, and spend an hour reading, praying, reflecting, meditating, working, and relaxing with God’s Commandments and not your own objectives. We tend to tell God what we want, need, or will do, which now seems odd to me.But little kids behave in this manner until they are trained and become mature.
Our bad habits, behaviors, lies, and motives will break down all the wonderful people, things, and work that we will do, if we are not careful to stay with God’s presence, purpose, and plans. Our plans are always broken, but God’s plan is perfect.Pay close attention to how the plans of God unfold right before your eyes and give the love necessary for you to break through your own self-inflicted pain, mess, heartache, and suffering.
Through it all, we become better at spotting our own problems, once we have passed the test that God has given us at each phase of our lives.Acknowledge, repent, and own up to your personal failures, hurts, and fears so that God can heal you from physical, mental, emotional, and personal drama and trauma that we all tend to suffer from. Stay strong in God’s recovery methods of reading, studying, working, loving, sharing, caring, forgiving, and avoiding sinful practices.
Are you enjoying God’s company and breakthrough lessons from past sinful behavior or are you still stuck on stupid?

For the choir director: A psalm of the descendants of Korah.
1 As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. 2 I thirst for God, the living God. When can I go and stand before him? 3 Day and night I have only tears for food, while my enemies continually taunt me, saying, “Where is this God of yours?”
4 My heart is breaking as I remember how it used to be: I walked among the crowds of worshipers, leading a great procession to the house of God, singing for joy and giving thanks amid the sound of a great celebration!
5 Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and6 my God!
Now I am deeply discouraged, but I will remember you— even from distant Mount Hermon, the source of the Jordan, from the land of Mount Mizar. 7 I hear the tumult of the raging seas as your waves and surging tides sweep over me. 8 But each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life.
9 “O God my rock,” I cry, “Why have you forgotten me? Why must I wander around in grief, oppressed by my enemies?” 10 Their taunts break my bones. They scoff, “Where is this God of yours?”
11 Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!
