Continuity

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“There’s a reason why the accounts of the Bible seem similar– it’s because God is consistent.”

TB

Similar

Notice that the Bible has many stories that have been repeated by various authors There are differing observations due to different vantage points, but this is not by accident. The similarities are an account of the True things that God did in those times. They are also an indication of what He is doing this very moment. Of course, at this moment, we have to contend with the false doctrine, false lifestyles, and false leaders who rule a sin-fallen world.

Confirmation

Notice that we live in a world that does not (if ever) mention God, unless for controversy or personal enrichment. Friends do not dismay, people have been putting God on the back burner since the Old Testament. Because the common theme is a world without Christ, you must look closely. If you have the eyes to see, know that His continuity is the direction bringing you Home to Him. So do not delay or discount how real and how mighty our God truly is.

Leviticus 18

1 Then the LORD said to Moses, 2 “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. I am the LORD your God. 3 So do not act like the people in Egypt, where you used to live, or like the people of Canaan, where I am taking you. You must not imitate their way of life. 4 You must obey all my regulations and be careful to obey my decrees, for I am the LORD your God. 5 If you obey my decrees and my regulations, you will find life through them. I am the LORD . 6 “You must never have sexual relations with a close relative, for I am the LORD . 7 “Do not violate your father by having sexual relations with your mother. She is your mother; you must not have sexual relations with her. 8 “Do not have sexual relations with any of your father’s wives, for this would violate your father. 9 “Do not have sexual relations with your sister or half sister, whether she is your father’s daughter or your mother’s daughter, whether she was born into your household or someone else’s. 10 “Do not have sexual relations with your granddaughter, whether she is your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter, for this would violate yourself. 11 “Do not have sexual relations with your stepsister, the daughter of any of your father’s wives, for she is your sister. 12 “Do not have sexual relations with your father’s sister, for she is your father’s close relative. 13 “Do not have sexual relations with your mother’s sister, for she is your mother’s close relative. 14 “Do not violate your uncle, your father’s brother, by having sexual relations with his wife, for she is your aunt. 15 “Do not have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law; she is your son’s wife, so you must not have sexual relations with her. 16 “Do not have sexual relations with your brother’s wife, for this would violate your brother. 17 “Do not have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter. And do not take her granddaughter, whether her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter, and have sexual relations with her. They are close relatives, and this would be a wicked act. 18 “While your wife is living, do not marry her sister and have sexual relations with her, for they would be rivals. 19 “Do not have sexual relations with a woman during her period of menstrual impurity. 20 “Do not defile yourself by having sexual intercourse with your neighbor’s wife. 21 “Do not permit any of your children to be offered as a sacrifice to Molech, for you must not bring shame on the name of your God. I am the LORD . 22 “Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin. 23 “A man must not defile himself by having sex with an animal. And a woman must not offer herself to a male animal to have intercourse with it. This is a perverse act. 24 “Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, for the people I am driving out before you have defiled themselves in all these ways. 25 Because the entire land has become defiled, I am punishing the people who live there. I will cause the land to vomit them out. 26 You must obey all my decrees and regulations. You must not commit any of these detestable sins. This applies both to native-born Israelites and to the foreigners living among you. 27 “All these detestable activities are practiced by the people of the land where I am taking you, and this is how the land has become defiled. 28 So do not defile the land and give it a reason to vomit you out, as it will vomit out the people who live there now. 29 Whoever commits any of these detestable sins will be cut off from the community of Israel. 30 So obey my instructions, and do not defile yourselves by committing any of these detestable practices that were committed by the people who lived in the land before you. I am the LORD your God.”

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“God gives us the choice to be better than where we came from.”

TB

Beget

We all come from someone, who also came from someone, and so on. Some have wonderful examples to emulate; while others have wonderful examples to avoid at all costs. Because we cannot be blamed for the sins of our parents and they are not responsible for our sins, rely on God to show you how to improve on your unique path. Even further, how we start in this world does not have any bearing on how we end as well.

Difference

Just because your father was a great man does not mean that you too will automatically be great. And, if your father was a terrible man, that does not mean you will be too. Consider the great men and women of the bible. They did right in the eyes of God, but many of their descendants did not. However, some of those with wicked fathers loved the Lord and succeeded. So friends, love God because the choice is yours.

Today’s Question

Do you love God, or are you trying to trade in on the favor of your ancestors?

Leviticus 12

1 The LORD said to Moses, 2 “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. If a woman becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son, she will be ceremonially unclean for seven days, just as she is unclean during her menstrual period. 3 On the eighth day the boy’s foreskin must be circumcised. 4 After waiting thirty-three days, she will be purified from the bleeding of childbirth. During this time of purification, she must not touch anything that is set apart as holy. And she must not enter the sanctuary until her time of purification is over. 5 If a woman gives birth to a daughter, she will be ceremonially unclean for two weeks, just as she is unclean during her menstrual period. After waiting sixty-six days, she will be purified from the bleeding of childbirth. 6 “When the time of purification is completed for either a son or a daughter, the woman must bring a one-year-old lamb for a burnt offering and a young pigeon or turtledove for a purification offering. She must bring her offerings to the priest at the entrance of the Tabernacle. 7 The priest will then present them to the LORD to purify her. Then she will be ceremonially clean again after her bleeding at childbirth. These are the instructions for a woman after the birth of a son or a daughter. 8 “If a woman cannot afford to bring a lamb, she must bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons. One will be for the burnt offering and the other for the purification offering. The priest will sacrifice them to purify her, and she will be ceremonially clean.”

The Beginning

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“Since the beginning of time, humans have been disobedient to God and this fact have not changed for the many who follow the devil’s lifestyle.”~ Jon Barnes

Suffer

When your eyes, ears, heart, and soul have been open to the truth about God’s plan, you can see the benefits of obedience. But many have and will continue to suffer loss because of their sinful hearts and ways.  God’s story and solutions are simple but we choose to be confused about our flesh and stubborn will to ignore God, his prophets, and his warnings.

Cursed

Follow every natural curse in the bible onto the world and God’s name, power, and might are on all of them.  Natural disasters can only be started and cured by God if we pray and humble ourselves.  The devil has no power!  He is only allowed to exits as a feeble example of stupidity, evil, wickedness, and sin. The devil was created as the curse.

Lord

The Lord is the Solution to the curse Adam and Even brought upon us, as the new testament puts a Name to God’s Solution, Crucifixion, and Holy Spirit and Himself. I AM is everywhere God IS!  Jesus is Lord of All.  Reflect upon the power of God, Moses Story, and begin to connect the dots of all God’s Biblical Stories to see the Face of God in All Things!
Today’s Question
Are you still blind to the Truth of God, because you don’t know anything about God while ignoring the bible and warnings of the prophets?

Jeremiah 28

1 One day in late summer of that same year—the fourth year of the reign of Zedekiah, king of Judah—Hananiah son of Azzur, a prophet from Gibeon, addressed me publicly in the Temple while all the priests and people listened. He said,
2 “This is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘I will remove the yoke of the king of Babylon from your necks.
3 Within two years I will bring back all the Temple treasures that King Nebuchadnezzar carried off to Babylon.
4 And I will bring back Jehoiachin son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and all the other captives that were taken to Babylon. I will surely break the yoke that the king of Babylon has put on your necks. I, the LORD, have spoken!’”
5 Jeremiah responded to Hananiah as they stood in front of all the priests and people at the Temple.
6 He said, “Amen! May your prophecies come true! I hope the LORD does everything you say. I hope he does bring back from Babylon the treasures of this Temple and all the captives.
7 But listen now to the solemn words I speak to you in the presence of all these people.
8 The ancient prophets who preceded you and me spoke against many nations, always warning of war, disaster, and disease.
9 So a prophet who predicts peace must show he is right. Only when his predictions come true can we know that he is really from the LORD .”
10 Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke off Jeremiah’s neck and broke it in pieces.
11 And Hananiah said again to the crowd that had gathered, “This is what the LORD says: ‘Just as this yoke has been broken, within two years I will break the yoke of oppression from all the nations now subject to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon.’” With that, Jeremiah left the Temple area.
12 Soon after this confrontation with Hananiah, the LORD gave this message to Jeremiah:
13 “Go and tell Hananiah, ‘This is what the LORD says: You have broken a wooden yoke, but you have replaced it with a yoke of iron.
14 The LORD of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says: I have put a yoke of iron on the necks of all these nations, forcing them into slavery under King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. I have put everything, even the wild animals, under his control.’”
15 Then Jeremiah the prophet said to Hananiah, “Listen, Hananiah! The LORD has not sent you, but the people believe your lies.
16 Therefore, this is what the LORD says: ‘You must die. Your life will end this very year because you have rebelled against the LORD .’”
17 Two months later the prophet Hananiah died.

Set Aside

garbage-4090382_1920.jpg

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“Set aside your old foolish ways that you can live well in Christ.”~TB

As You Are

God will always love you in every stage of your life. Be that as it may, a life full of misdeeds will dampen the Truth and Joy God wants to share with you. Sinning does not revoke your salvation. It does, however, disrupt your connection to Christ. God doesn’t let go of you when you sin, you let go of Him when you do. Stop chasing fleshly pleasures as they lead you astray. Do not desire a life of power because the pursuit of your own status will cause you to forget whose power actually matters. Though this world can offer things that satisfy immediate fleshly desires, the human lifespan is a millisecond compared to eternity. Invest wisely.

Throw Off

If you’re tired of the obstacles and mayhem that comes with secular life, look to God. Throw off your vices, devices, and sinful behaviors to experience the Truth, joy, and contentment that can only come from our Father in Heaven. Cultivate the discipline and perseverance required to lead an honorable life. This means abandoning the ways of the world and adopting the teachings of Christ. When you apply the Godly wisdom that can be found in the Bible, notice how your life changes. The Truth will open your eyes, and suddenly what you once craved is detestable. If you allow God to write the Truth on your hearts, the world has less influence on your behavior. Follow Him to set aside junk so that you can possess your inheritance.

Today’s Question

Did you set aside your old life or is it throwing you off?

Proverbs 6

1 My child, if you have put up security for a friend’s debt or agreed to guarantee the debt of a stranger—
2 if you have trapped yourself by your agreement and are caught by what you said—
3 follow my advice and save yourself, for you have placed yourself at your friend’s mercy. Now swallow your pride; go and beg to have your name erased.
4 Don’t put it off; do it now! Don’t rest until you do.
5 Save yourself like a gazelle escaping from a hunter, like a bird fleeing from a net.
6 Take a lesson from the ants, you lazybones. Learn from their ways and become wise!
7Though they have no prince or governor or ruler to make them work,
8they labor hard all summer, gathering food for the winter.
9 But you, lazybones, how long will you sleep? When will you wake up?
10 A little extra sleep, a little more slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest—
11then poverty will pounce on you like a bandit; scarcity will attack you like an armed robber.
12 What are worthless and wicked people like? They are constant liars,
13 signaling their deceit with a wink of the eye, a nudge of the foot, or the wiggle of fingers.
14 Their perverted hearts plot evil, and they constantly stir up trouble.
15 But they will be destroyed suddenly, broken in an instant beyond all hope of healing.
16 There are six things the LORD hates— no, seven things he detests:
17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent,
18 a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong,
19 a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord in a family.
20 My son, obey your father’s commands, and don’t neglect your mother’s instruction.
21 Keep their words always in your heart. Tie them around your neck.
22 When you walk, their counsel will lead you. When you sleep, they will protect you. When you wake up, they will advise you.
23 For their command is a lamp and their instruction a light; their corrective discipline is the way to life.
24 It will keep you from the immoral woman, from the smooth tongue of a promiscuous woman.
25Don’t lust for her beauty. Don’t let her coy glances seduce you.
26 For a prostitute will bring you to poverty, but sleeping with another man’s wife will cost you your life.
27 Can a man scoop a flame into his lap and not have his clothes catch on fire?
28 Can he walk on hot coals and not blister his feet?
29 So it is with the man who sleeps with another man’s wife. He who embraces her will not go unpunished.
30 Excuses might be found for a thief who steals because he is starving.
31 But if he is caught, he must pay back seven times what he stole, even if he has to sell everything in his house.
32 But the man who commits adultery is an utter fool, for he destroys himself.
33 He will be wounded and disgraced. His shame will never be erased.
34 For the woman’s jealous husband will be furious, and he will show no mercy when he takes revenge.
35 He will accept no compensation, nor be satisfied with a payoff of any size.

Waters

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Notice how water travels in circles, currents, streams, oceans, ice, and steam to cut, clean, maintain, and deliver God’s message of sustenance and salvation.” ~ Jon Barnes

Travels

While hiking and traveling around the world, I noticed how the water keeps moving from the mountains into the seas.  Like air, it never stops doing its job of cleaning, circulating, and rotating.  No one can control the weather or its purpose, as it brings what the planet needs from God. Travel with God to get what you need and help others along the way.

Cuts

Notice how the water cuts into the land in such an artistic way that the Hand of God can be seen on the ground as well as in the sky, clouds, and Heavens.  Things are always moving, painting, blowing, and flowing like orchestrated musical visual notes of God’s daily compositions of all styles, with all cultures, and all creation.  Wash away negative attitudes and cut new opportunities with your smile.

Art

The art of God’s Ways can clearly be seen anywhere you go if you open up your eyes and mind to see His DNA and thumbprints on all things.  It is quite overwhelming because I would take pictures and videos of everything all of the time.  I had to leave my camera home so that I could just enjoy my mind, body, heart, spirit, senses, and eyes to capture the wonder and splendor of God’s Creations, Science, and Art to let God’s blessings and glory circle around my being.

Psalm 59

For the choir director: A psalm of David, regarding the time Saul sent soldiers to watch David’s house in order to kill him. To be sung to the tune “Do Not Destroy!”

Rescue me from my enemies, O God.
Protect me from those who have come to destroy me.
Rescue me from these criminals;
    save me from these murderers.
They have set an ambush for me.
Fierce enemies are out there waiting, Lord,
though I have not sinned or offended them.
I have done nothing wrong,
yet they prepare to attack me.
Wake up! See what is happening and help me!
Lord God of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel,
wake up and punish those hostile nations.
Show no mercy to wicked traitors. Interlude
They come out at night,
    snarling like vicious dogs
    as they prowl the streets.
Listen to the filth that comes from their mouths;
    their words cut like swords.
“After all, who can hear us?” they sneer.
But Lord, you laugh at them.
You scoff at all the hostile nations.
You are my strength; I wait for you to rescue me,
for you, O God, are my fortress.
10 In his unfailing love, my God will stand with me.
He will let me look down in triumph on all my enemies.
11 Don’t kill them, for my people soon forget such lessons;
stagger them with your power, and bring them to their knees,
    O Lord our shield.
12 Because of the sinful things they say,
because of the evil that is on their lips,
let them be captured by their pride,
    their curses, and their lies.
13 Destroy them in your anger!
    Wipe them out completely!
Then the whole world will know
that God reigns in Israel. Interlude
14 My enemies come out at night,
    snarling like vicious dogs
    as they prowl the streets.
15 They scavenge for food
    but go to sleep unsatisfied.
16 But as for me, I will sing about your power.
Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love.
For you have been my refuge,
a place of safety when I am in distress.
17 O my Strength, to you I sing praises,
for you, O God, are my refuge,
the God who shows me unfailing love.

Love,

Jonathan

Limitations

wall-644468_1920.jpgHi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Once you really believe that your limitations in life are like an ant in this world, then God  can speak to you and show you the importance of listening and not talking so much.”  ~  Jon Barnes

People

People want to know more about you but the information needs to be presented in a way they can understand and receive it.  Raw data is useless in the hands of a fool searching for information out of context, with no relevance or substance.  You personally add to your sorrow by not minding your own business and letting God do the teaching, judging, and correcting of others. I had to learn how to stop “playing God” as if I have all knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. You have enough on your plate to do already.

Children

As a parent, children must be guided, protected, and corrected so that they understand the rules, procedures, guidelines, and protocols of prosperity.  However, kids must mind their own choices to reap the things they sow, each second of their lives.  Teach children to sow what they need and they will reap what they really want. Don’t sow your negative words, thoughts, and ideas at people just because you are hurting and confused.  Sow love, forgiveness, kindness, meekness, long-suffering, gentleness, joy, peace, and patience into your family so that you can prevent the devil from uprooting your farm and crop.

Adults

As a mature adult, I still don’t know what I need, but I believe God does.  I remain as a Child in the eyes of God so that I may sow what I need to get what God wants me to have.  This is what I really want.  I don’t want what I think, because I’m not smart enough to think or do the correct things all of the time.  So, if I allow God to show me everything each day, every hour, and second, then perhaps I will make fewer mistakes and become more helpful with how I love people as myself.
Today’s Question
Am I so smart that toilet paper is hanging outside my pants, while I’m walking down the street, yet I don’t believe God when He shows me a picture of myself in the mirror?

Psalm 22

For the choir director: A psalm of David, to be sung to the tune “Doe of the Dawn.”

My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?
Why are you so far away when I groan for help?
Every day I call to you, my God, but you do not answer.
Every night I lift my voice, but I find no relief.
Yet you are holy,
enthroned on the praises of Israel.
Our ancestors trusted in you,
    and you rescued them.
They cried out to you and were saved.
They trusted in you and were never disgraced.
But I am a worm and not a man.
I am scorned and despised by all!
Everyone who sees me mocks me.
They sneer and shake their heads, saying,
“Is this the one who relies on the Lord?
Then let the Lord save him!
If the Lord loves him so much,
    let the Lord rescue him!”
Yet you brought me safely from my mother’s womb
and led me to trust you at my mother’s breast.
10 I was thrust into your arms at my birth.
You have been my God from the moment I was born.
11 Do not stay so far from me,
    for trouble is near,
and no one else can help me.
12 My enemies surround me like a herd of bulls;
fierce bulls of Bashan have hemmed me in!
13 Like lions they open their jaws against me,
roaring and tearing into their prey.
14 My life is poured out like water,
and all my bones are out of joint.
My heart is like wax,
    melting within me.
15 My strength has dried up like sunbaked clay.
My tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth.
You have laid me in the dust and left me for dead.
16 My enemies surround me like a pack of dogs;
an evil gang closes in on me.
They have pierced[a] my hands and feet.
17 I can count all my bones.
My enemies stare at me and gloat.
18 They divide my garments among themselves
and throw dice[b] for my clothing.
19 Lord, do not stay far away!
You are my strength; come quickly to my aid!
20 Save me from the sword;
spare my precious life from these dogs.
21 Snatch me from the lion’s jaws
and from the horns of these wild oxen.
22 I will proclaim your name to my brothers and sisters.[c]
I will praise you among your assembled people.
23 Praise the Lord, all you who fear him!
Honor him, all you descendants of Jacob!
Show him reverence, all you descendants of Israel!
24 For he has not ignored or belittled the suffering of the needy.
He has not turned his back on them,
but has listened to their cries for help.
25 I will praise you in the great assembly.
I will fulfill my vows in the presence of those who worship you.
26 The poor will eat and be satisfied.
All who seek the Lord will praise him.
Their hearts will rejoice with everlasting joy.
27 The whole earth will acknowledge the Lord and return to him.
All the families of the nations will bow down before him.
28 For royal power belongs to the Lord.
    He rules all the nations.
29 Let the rich of the earth feast and worship.
Bow before him, all who are mortal,
all whose lives will end as dust.
30 Our children will also serve him.
Future generations will hear about the wonders of the Lord.
31 His righteous acts will be told to those not yet born.
They will hear about everything he has done.
Love,

Jonathan

Job 7

“Do not mortals have hard service on earth?
Are not their days like those of hired laborers?
Like a slave longing for the evening shadows,
or a hired laborer waiting to be paid,
so I have been allotted months of futility,
and nights of misery have been assigned to me.
When I lie down I think, ‘How long before I get up?’
The night drags on, and I toss and turn until dawn.
My body is clothed with worms and scabs,
my skin is broken and festering.
“My days are swifter than a weaver’s shuttle,
and they come to an end without hope.
Remember, O God, that my life is but a breath;
my eyes will never see happiness again.
The eye that now sees me will see me no longer;
you will look for me, but I will be no more.
As a cloud vanishes and is gone,
so one who goes down to the grave does not return.
10 He will never come to his house again;
his place will know him no more.
11 “Therefore I will not keep silent;
I will speak out in the anguish of my spirit,
I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.
12 Am I the sea, or the monster of the deep,
that you put me under guard?
13 When I think my bed will comfort me
and my couch will ease my complaint,
14 even then you frighten me with dreams
    and terrify me with visions,
15 so that I prefer strangling and death,
rather than this body of mine.
16 I despise my life; I would not live forever.
Let me alone; my days have no meaning.
17 “What is mankind that you make so much of them,
that you give them so much attention,
18 that you examine them every morning
    and test them every moment?
19 Will you never look away from me,
or let me alone even for an instant?
20 If I have sinned, what have I done to you,
you who see everything we do?
Why have you made me your target?
    Have I become a burden to you?[a]
21 Why do you not pardon my offenses
    and forgive my sins?
For I will soon lie down in the dust;
you will search for me, but I will be no more.”

Option

girl-2573111_1920.jpg
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“We are not making plans, but exercising our options so that God can tell us what to do.” ~ Jon Barnes

When God

When God is in control of your lifestyle, you learn to follow the options given to you from the plans of God.  These options will narrow down into a specific step to take and a door to enter.  Then you will see the hand of God move and make things happen that you would otherwise be unaware.  Miracles happen each day but the eyes of many are shut closed to them.

Opens

All of the negative things we see and face points to the reason people need God in their lives.  Evildoers keep expanding their hold while good people do little to fight, challenge and work for freedom, liberty, and justice.  We all tend to go along with the crowd, the injustice, and the horrible truth that mankind is extremely evil.  As you study the past with God, the future opens up, and you’ll know what to do.

Your Eyes

The hope of many hinges on the next person doing the right things in helping out the person beside them.  We walk around in our self-inflicted, electronically controlled jail cell, under house arrest, but able to function as if we are free.  Using good tools are important, but when they talk back and lie to us with misinformation, miscalculations, and other fraudulent information, advertisements, and the likes, our minds have become convoluted, predisposed, and trapped.
Today’s Question
Are your eyes closed to God’s Good Options?

20 In the spring of the year,[a] when kings normally go out to war, Joab led the Israelite army in successful attacks against the land of the Ammonites. In the process he laid siege to the city of Rabbah, attacking and destroying it. However, David stayed behind in Jerusalem.
Then David went to Rabbah and removed the crown from the king’s head,[b] and it was placed on his own head. The crown was made of gold and set with gems, and he found that it weighed seventy-five pounds.[c] David took a vast amount of plunder from the city. He also made slaves of the people of Rabbah and forced them to labor with saws, iron picks, and iron axes.[d] That is how David dealt with the people of all the Ammonite towns. Then David and all the army returned to Jerusalem.

Battles against Philistine Giants

After this, war broke out with the Philistines at Gezer. As they fought, Sibbecai from Hushah killed Saph,[e] a descendant of the giants,[f] and so the Philistines were subdued.
During another battle with the Philistines, Elhanan son of Jair killed Lahmi, the brother of Goliath of Gath. The handle of Lahmi’s spear was as thick as a weaver’s beam!
In another battle with the Philistines at Gath, they encountered a huge man with six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot, twenty-four in all, who was also a descendant of the giants. But when he defied and taunted Israel, he was killed by Jonathan, the son of David’s brother Shimea.
These Philistines were descendants of the giants of Gath, but David and his warriors killed

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“You can tell when people are uneasy, distracted or uninterested when they give no information, misinformation, or too much information about themselves, leaving God’s information on the shelf.” ~ Jon Barnes

All About

It’s not all about you and what you want in life. It is all about what God wants and how you fit into His World, Will, and Loving Purpose. If you stop, look, feel, and think of what you are really made of, and the capacity of talent each person has, you can begin to see how God’s focus is all about YOU, indeed!

The Keeper

The architecture of life, the regulator of breath, and the keeper of souls wrote the book and created all things about you and beyond. Nothing is a distraction to God and His focus is sharper than a two-edged sword.  Keeping your eyes on God sharpens your mind, body, and heart so that you want to do the good work of faith and please the Keeper of your soul. Don’t get distracted.

Your Soul

Your soul purpose in life is to be 100% in agreement with your Father, who art in Heaven. His Kingdom and Will should be aligned with your eternal destination in Heaven or the default button will be in hell. Call and ask God for your status update and reservations for eternity. Be sure that you paid for your eternal room and board in Heaven, with the Blood of Jesus and your obedience to the Will of God, His lifestyle, and the Good works of Faith.

Joshua 10

Israel Defeats the Southern Armies

10 Adoni-zedek, king of Jerusalem, heard that Joshua had captured and completely destroyed[a] Ai and killed its king, just as he had destroyed the town of Jericho and killed its king. He also learned that the Gibeonites had made peace with Israel and were now their allies. He and his people became very afraid when they heard all this because Gibeon was a large town—as large as the royal cities and larger than Ai. And the Gibeonite men were strong warriors.
So King Adoni-zedek of Jerusalem sent messengers to several other kings: Hoham of Hebron, Piram of Jarmuth, Japhia of Lachish, and Debir of Eglon.“Come and help me destroy Gibeon,” he urged them, “for they have made peace with Joshua and the people of Israel.” So these five Amorite kings combined their armies for a united attack. They moved all their troops into place and attacked Gibeon.
The men of Gibeon quickly sent messengers to Joshua at his camp in Gilgal. “Don’t abandon your servants now!” they pleaded. “Come at once! Save us! Help us! For all the Amorite kings who live in the hill country have joined forces to attack us.”
So Joshua and his entire army, including his best warriors, left Gilgal and set out for Gibeon. “Do not be afraid of them,” the Lord said to Joshua, “for I have given you victory over them. Not a single one of them will be able to stand up to you.”
Joshua traveled all night from Gilgal and took the Amorite armies by surprise.10 The Lord threw them into a panic, and the Israelites slaughtered great numbers of them at Gibeon. Then the Israelites chased the enemy along the road to Beth-horon, killing them all along the way to Azekah and Makkedah. 11 As the Amorites retreated down the road from Beth-horon, the Lord destroyed them with a terrible hailstorm from heaven that continued until they reached Azekah. The hail killed more of the enemy than the Israelites killed with the sword.
12 On the day the Lord gave the Israelites victory over the Amorites, Joshua prayed to the Lord in front of all the people of Israel. He said,
“Let the sun stand still over Gibeon,
and the moon over the valley of Aijalon.”
13 So the sun stood still and the moon stayed in place until the nation of Israel had defeated its enemies.
Is this event not recorded in The Book of Jashar[b]? The sun stayed in the middle of the sky, and it did not set as on a normal day.[c] 14 There has never been a day like this one before or since, when the Lord answered such a prayer. Surely the Lordfought for Israel that day!
15 Then Joshua and the Israelite army returned to their camp at Gilgal.

Joshua Kills the Five Southern Kings

16 During the battle the five kings escaped and hid in a cave at Makkedah. 17 When Joshua heard that they had been found, 18 he issued this command: “Cover the opening of the cave with large rocks, and place guards at the entrance to keep the kings inside. 19 The rest of you continue chasing the enemy and cut them down from the rear. Don’t give them a chance to get back to their towns, for the Lordyour God has given you victory over them.”
20 So Joshua and the Israelite army continued the slaughter and completely crushed the enemy. They totally wiped out the five armies except for a tiny remnant that managed to reach their fortified towns. 21 Then the Israelites returned safely to Joshua in the camp at Makkedah. After that, no one dared to speak even a word against Israel.
22 Then Joshua said, “Remove the rocks covering the opening of the cave, and bring the five kings to me.” 23 So they brought the five kings out of the cave—the kings of Jerusalem, Hebron, Jarmuth, Lachish, and Eglon. 24 When they brought them out, Joshua told the commanders of his army, “Come and put your feet on the kings’ necks.” And they did as they were told.
25 “Don’t ever be afraid or discouraged,” Joshua told his men. “Be strong and courageous, for the Lord is going to do this to all of your enemies.” 26 Then Joshua killed each of the five kings and impaled them on five sharpened poles, where they hung until evening.
27 As the sun was going down, Joshua gave instructions for the bodies of the kings to be taken down from the poles and thrown into the cave where they had been hiding. Then they covered the opening of the cave with a pile of large rocks, which remains to this very day.

Israel Destroys the Southern Towns

28 That same day Joshua captured and destroyed the town of Makkedah. He killed everyone in it, including the king, leaving no survivors. He destroyed them all, and he killed the king of Makkedah as he had killed the king of Jericho. 29 Then Joshua and the Israelites went to Libnah and attacked it. 30 There, too, the Lord gave them the town and its king. He killed everyone in it, leaving no survivors. Then Joshua killed the king of Libnah as he had killed the king of Jericho.
31 From Libnah, Joshua and the Israelites went to Lachish and attacked it. 32 Here again, the Lord gave them Lachish. Joshua took it on the second day and killed everyone in it, just as he had done at Libnah. 33 During the attack on Lachish, King Horam of Gezer arrived with his army to help defend the town. But Joshua’s men killed him and his army, leaving no survivors.
34 Then Joshua and the Israelite army went on to Eglon and attacked it. 35 They captured it that day and killed everyone in it. He completely destroyed everyone, just as he had done at Lachish. 36 From Eglon, Joshua and the Israelite army went up to Hebron and attacked it. 37 They captured the town and killed everyone in it, including its king, leaving no survivors. They did the same thing to all of its surrounding villages. And just as he had done at Eglon, he completely destroyed the entire population.
38 Then Joshua and the Israelites turned back and attacked Debir. 39 He captured the town, its king, and all of its surrounding villages. He completely destroyed everyone in it, leaving no survivors. He did to Debir and its king just what he had done to Hebron and to Libnah and its king.
40 So Joshua conquered the whole region—the kings and people of the hill country, the Negev, the western foothills,[d] and the mountain slopes. He completely destroyed everyone in the land, leaving no survivors, just as the Lord, the God of Israel, had commanded. 41 Joshua slaughtered them from Kadesh-barnea to Gaza and from the region around the town of Goshen up to Gibeon.42 Joshua conquered all these kings and their land in a single campaign, for the Lord, the God of Israel, was fighting for his people.
43 Then Joshua and the Israelite army returned to their camp at Gilgal.

Jonathan

Winners

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“You are a winner because you fear, respect, and love God with wisdom, knowledge, faith, and mercy, by using God’s Holy Spirit to control and purge your evil ways that can come from your heart, mind, mouth, eyes, ears, emotions, imaginations, and actions.” ~ Jon Barnes

When

When winners whine, they allow the devil to steal the Glory God has given you as the light of the world to shine before your peers.  let God’s Good Materials and Inventory from your life surround and overcome evil with Good from God’s Grace. God’s wrath of Hell will be upon us soon enough, as it selects the many who chose that road of evil.

Wine

When we share this new wine of faith from God, allow the Spirit of God to intoxicate evil doers with the Love of God, since our actions will be different than what would be expected.  Miracles can happen with obedience to God, not just talent.

Win

Winners are clothed with the finest materials and inventory that God provides the few who will walk the narrow path towards the Heavens. Many time the good things you do will go unnoticed, like a secret that emerges into the future of discoveries, yet God will know right now, you are a winner.

Exodus 40

The Tabernacle Completed

40 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Set up the Tabernacle[a] on the first day of the new year.[b] Place the Ark of the Covenant[c] inside, and install the inner curtain to enclose the Ark within the Most Holy Place. Then bring in the table, and arrange the utensils on it. And bring in the lampstand, and set up the lamps.
“Place the gold incense altar in front of the Ark of the Covenant. Then hang the curtain at the entrance of the Tabernacle. Place the altar of burnt offering in front of the Tabernacle entrance. Set the washbasin between the Tabernacle[d] and the altar, and fill it with water. Then set up the courtyard around the outside of the tent, and hang the curtain for the courtyard entrance.
“Take the anointing oil and anoint the Tabernacle and all its furnishings to consecrate them and make them holy. 10 Anoint the altar of burnt offering and its utensils to consecrate them. Then the altar will become absolutely holy. 11 Next anoint the washbasin and its stand to consecrate them.
12 “Present Aaron and his sons at the entrance of the Tabernacle, and wash them with water. 13 Dress Aaron with the sacred garments and anoint him, consecrating him to serve me as a priest. 14 Then present his sons and dress them in their tunics. 15 Anoint them as you did their father, so they may also serve me as priests. With their anointing, Aaron’s descendants are set apart for the priesthood forever, from generation to generation.”
16 Moses proceeded to do everything just as the Lord had commanded him. 17 So the Tabernacle was set up on the first day of the first month of the second year.18 Moses erected the Tabernacle by setting down its bases, inserting the frames, attaching the crossbars, and setting up the posts. 19 Then he spread the coverings over the Tabernacle framework and put on the protective layers, just as the Lordhad commanded him.
20 He took the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant and placed them[e] inside the Ark. Then he attached the carrying poles to the Ark, and he set the Ark’s cover—the place of atonement—on top of it. 21 Then he brought the Ark of the Covenant into the Tabernacle and hung the inner curtain to shield it from view, just as the Lord had commanded him.
22 Next Moses placed the table in the Tabernacle, along the north side of the Holy Place, just outside the inner curtain. 23 And he arranged the Bread of the Presence on the table before the Lord, just as the Lord had commanded him.
24 He set the lampstand in the Tabernacle across from the table on the south side of the Holy Place. 25 Then he lit the lamps in the Lord’s presence, just as the Lordhad commanded him. 26 He also placed the gold incense altar in the Tabernacle, in the Holy Place in front of the inner curtain. 27 On it he burned the fragrant incense, just as the Lord had commanded him.
28 He hung the curtain at the entrance of the Tabernacle, 29 and he placed the altar of burnt offering near the Tabernacle entrance. On it he offered a burnt offering and a grain offering, just as the Lord had commanded him.
30 Next Moses placed the washbasin between the Tabernacle and the altar. He filled it with water so the priests could wash themselves. 31 Moses and Aaron and Aaron’s sons used water from it to wash their hands and feet. 32 Whenever they approached the altar and entered the Tabernacle, they washed themselves, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
33 Then he hung the curtains forming the courtyard around the Tabernacle and the altar. And he set up the curtain at the entrance of the courtyard. So at last Moses finished the work.

The Lord’s Glory Fills the Tabernacle

34 Then the cloud covered the Tabernacle, and the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle. 35 Moses could no longer enter the Tabernacle because the cloud had settled down over it, and the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle.
36 Now whenever the cloud lifted from the Tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out on their journey, following it. 37 But if the cloud did not rise, they remained where they were until it lifted. 38 The cloud of the Lord hovered over the Tabernacle during the day, and at night fire glowed inside the cloud so the whole family of Israel could see it. This continued throughout all their journeys.

Jonathan
