Patrol

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Patrol your own parameter of love in your life and reject any evil or wicked ideas from entering the space of your mind, heart, body, soul, or spirit, because when you die, only Christ can save you.”  ~  Jon Barnes

Reject

Reject negative thoughts that would consume your time and energy.  Get rid of evil habits that will diminish your character and right standing with God.  Clean up your workspace, home, cars, computers, and stuff so that you can operate more effectively and efficiently.

Temptation

Reject the attraction of stuff, temptation, lust, fame, money, and the ruble wisdom of evil, the bling(s) subtle attractions and charm, like fools gold.  Let Jesus test the authenticity of your findings, actions, motives, and plans for the future.  Don’t bet your life of eternity with God on a horse race, slot machine, card game, or a scam from the devil.

Big Screen

Do not become brainwashed from the movies, TV Shows, media, and other advertisements that are used to negate the Word of God from your lifestyle.  Run your daily diagnostic with Jesus to detect and fix problems that you may not detect on your own.  His Big Screen TV can see it all to help patrol and improve your walk with God.
Stay on patrol and stay away from wicked, evil people.
Today’s Question
Are you using and enjoying the wonderful stories and information from your bible to patrol the parameters of your own heart with Christ or have you lost your mind to satan?

Psalm 50

A psalm of Asaph.

The Lord, the Mighty One, is God,
    and he has spoken;
he has summoned all humanity
from where the sun rises to where it sets.
From Mount Zion, the perfection of beauty,
    God shines in glorious radiance.
Our God approaches,
    and he is not silent.
Fire devours everything in his way,
and a great storm rages around him.
He calls on the heavens above and earth below
to witness the judgment of his people.
“Bring my faithful people to me—
those who made a covenant with me by giving sacrifices.”
Then let the heavens proclaim his justice,
for God himself will be the judge. Interlude
“O my people, listen as I speak.
Here are my charges against you, O Israel:
    I am God, your God!
I have no complaint about your sacrifices
or the burnt offerings you constantly offer.
But I do not need the bulls from your barns
or the goats from your pens.
10 For all the animals of the forest are mine,
and I own the cattle on a thousand hills.
11 I know every bird on the mountains,
and all the animals of the field are mine.
12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you,
for all the world is mine and everything in it.
13 Do I eat the meat of bulls?
Do I drink the blood of goats?
14 Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God,
and keep the vows you made to the Most High.
15 Then call on me when you are in trouble,
    and I will rescue you,
and you will give me glory.”
16 But God says to the wicked:
“Why bother reciting my decrees
and pretending to obey my covenant?
17 For you refuse my discipline
and treat my words like trash.
18 When you see thieves, you approve of them,
and you spend your time with adulterers.
19 Your mouth is filled with wickedness,
and your tongue is full of lies.
20 You sit around and slander your brother—
    your own mother’s son.
21 While you did all this, I remained silent,
and you thought I didn’t care.
But now I will rebuke you,
listing all my charges against you.
22 Repent, all of you who forget me,
or I will tear you apart,
and no one will help you.
23 But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me.
If you keep to my path,
I will reveal to you the salvation of God.”
Love,

Jonathan

Ready

ready-2379042_1920.jpg
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“This notion that you are always ready for the next new thing, career, family, or challenge is not an accurate picture of reality in learning, growing, and developing your faith in love.” ~ Jon Barnes

Clause

We should do our best with what we have, properly connecting, doing, and sharing God’s resources, ideas, prayers, work ethic, and balance in life.  You don’t know that you are ready for the challenge until you have passed the test. The proof is in the fight, faith, work, and walk, not the pride, look, form, or talk.  This lifestyle has a push and pull, known and unknown, do or don’t option clause.

Always

Always remember that our fruit comes from these choices that we make in prayer and connection with God that will impact your life and soul destination.  Your story will fit the path that is set for you and God’s judgment will match what is written in the Bible.  Align your actions to fit God’s judgment upon your life.  Do not align your lifestyle with foolishness.

Growing

Our readiness stems from the childlike growth stages into maturity because we use, share, and know the ways of God.  You cannot hijack the culture and spirit of God with evil, wicked, or selfish intentions to overthrow His Kingdom.  The devil has tried and fail.  Always be ready to run with the winning team of God and His Universal Solutions.
Today’s Question
Who is more powerful than God to know or overthrow His Will and Plans for your life, but your own free will and stupidity of choice that only He has given you to exercise?

Psalm 48

For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. According to alamoth. A song.

1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
2Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.
5God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.
6Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts.
7The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
8 Come and see what the LORD has done, the desolations he has brought on the earth.
9 He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire.
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
11 The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.

Love,

Jonathan

Suitable

arm-1284248_1920.jpgHi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Challenges are positive steps that are out of order for you to organize, rearrange, and find suitable solutions to new questions and answers.” ~  Jon Barnes

Ordered

You are ordered to organize your thoughts by following the commandments of love from your heart, which is given to you by God.  Only God can give you true love that will last and overcome challenges in life.  This love will rearrange your steps into the positive direction designed by God with purpose.  Follow God’s love examples.

Organization

In God’s Universal Organization, He is Lord of all things from the most expansive existence to the smallest things imaginable.  Everything has a step, placement, and value, as nothing is ever wasted, unnoticed, or unaccounted for.  God is clearly in control.  By studying God’s blueprints of organizational and creative patterns, you can find solutions to your problems, purpose to your life, and love to receive, connect, and share with others.

Rearranged

It is Christ who teaches us to rearrange, rewire and repair our wicked hearts to follow Him as a disciple, student, and child of God.  We are all on the playground learning how to get along, share, and care for one another.  In this love, we can see what true Christian look and act like.  Your challenge is how you implement God’s Ways and love into your life to find suitable solutions to new and old questions.
Today’s Question
Do you really want to know and live by God’s Laws, Truth, and Justice or would you rather live in hell now and for eternity?

Psalm 44

1 O God, we have heard it with our own ears— our ancestors have told us of all you did in their day, in days long ago:
2 You drove out the pagan nations by your power and gave all the land to our ancestors. You crushed their enemies and set our ancestors free.
3 They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you loved them.
4 You are my King and my God. You command victories for Israel.
5 Only by your power can we push back our enemies; only in your name can we trample our foes.
6 I do not trust in my bow; I do not count on my sword to save me.
7 You are the one who gives us victory over our enemies; you disgrace those who hate us.
8 O God, we give glory to you all day long and constantly praise your name. Interlude
9 But now you have tossed us aside in dishonor. You no longer lead our armies to battle.
10 You make us retreat from our enemies and allow those who hate us to plunder our land.
11 You have butchered us like sheep and scattered us among the nations.
12 You sold your precious people for a pittance, making nothing on the sale.
13 You let our neighbors mock us. We are an object of scorn and derision to those around us.
14 You have made us the butt of their jokes; they shake their heads at us in scorn.
15 We can’t escape the constant humiliation; shame is written across our faces.
16 All we hear are the taunts of our mockers. All we see are our vengeful enemies.
17 All this has happened though we have not forgotten you. We have not violated your covenant.
18 Our hearts have not deserted you. We have not strayed from your path.
19 Yet you have crushed us in the jackal’s desert home. You have covered us with darkness and death.
20 If we had forgotten the name of our God or spread our hands in prayer to foreign gods,
21 God would surely have known it, for he knows the secrets of every heart.
22 But for your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.
23 Wake up, O Lord! Why do you sleep? Get up! Do not reject us forever.
24 Why do you look the other way? Why do you ignore our suffering and oppression?
25 We collapse in the dust, lying face down in the dirt.
26 Rise up! Help us! Ransom us because of your unfailing love.
Love,

Jonathan

Advancement

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Use God’s viewpoint as an opportunity of faith to love, learn, grow, and go about the business of sharing, caring, building, and giving your best work to advance your future.”  ~  Jon Barnes

Spring

Spring out of bed, from your prayer closet of faith, knowing that the day will be full of wonderful opportunities to serve, shine, and make a difference in your own family, community, and job.  Your body, mind, and soul should be a reflection of the Spirit of God that is in you to do excellent work.

Winter

Winterize your home, ideas, and actions to improve your mindset, purpose, and personal energy-saving strategies for sustained success, health, wealth, and growth.  The rotations from the seasons are a visual, artistic landscape of fresh ideas that God gives us in following and managing our time, language, actions, and love.  Exercise your faith in this manner and enjoy the views.

Summer

Fall into summer with the best body, mind, and level of energy because you managed to shed the leaves of fat from your body each year.  Holding onto crumbled up old bags of leaves, as stored up fat around your stomach is not the design for your body shape.  Work out each day and naturally thin out the waste that you are carrying all year long.
Today’s Question
Are you keeping a new visualization of yourself in God to adapt to the changing seasons of life or are you holding onto all of the fat that is holding your mental, physical, and spiritual health hostage?

Psalm 43

Declare me innocent, O God!
Defend me against these ungodly people.
Rescue me from these unjust liars.
For you are God, my only safe haven.
Why have you tossed me aside?
Why must I wander around in grief,
    oppressed by my enemies?
Send out your light and your truth;
    let them guide me.
Let them lead me to your holy mountain,
to the place where you live.
There I will go to the altar of God,
to God—the source of all my joy.
I will praise you with my harp,
    O God, my God!
Why am I discouraged?
Why is my heart so sad?
I will put my hope in God!
    I will praise him again—
    my Savior and my God!
Love,

Jonathan

Break

hatching-chicks-2448541_1920.jpg
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Time, therapy, prayer, and rest are needed to repair physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual damages in our lives and this work is individually focused to require that you take a break from yourself so that God can operate on your behalf.” ~ Jon Barnes

Down

Your downtime requires you to close your mouth, sit down, turn off your electronics, and spend an hour reading, praying, reflecting, meditating, working, and relaxing with God’s Commandments and not your own objectives.  We tend to tell God what we want, need, or will do, which now seems odd to me.  But little kids behave in this manner until they are trained and become mature.

Broken

Our bad habits, behaviors, lies, and motives will break down all the wonderful people, things, and work that we will do, if we are not careful to stay with God’s presence, purpose, and plans.  Our plans are always broken, but God’s plan is perfect.  Pay close attention to how the plans of God unfold right before your eyes and give the love necessary for you to break through your own self-inflicted pain, mess, heartache, and suffering.

Through

Through it all, we become better at spotting our own problems, once we have passed the test that God has given us at each phase of our lives.  Acknowledge, repent, and own up to your personal failures, hurts, and fears so that God can heal you from physical, mental, emotional, and personal drama and trauma that we all tend to suffer from. Stay strong in God’s recovery methods of reading, studying, working, loving, sharing, caring, forgiving, and avoiding sinful practices.
Today’s Question
Are you enjoying God’s company and breakthrough lessons from past sinful behavior or are you still stuck on stupid?

Psalm 42

For the choir director: A psalm of the descendants of Korah.

As the deer longs for streams of water,
so I long for you, O God.
I thirst for God, the living God.
When can I go and stand before him?
Day and night I have only tears for food,
while my enemies continually taunt me, saying,
“Where is this God of yours?”
My heart is breaking
as I remember how it used to be:
I walked among the crowds of worshipers,
leading a great procession to the house of God,
singing for joy and giving thanks
amid the sound of a great celebration!
Why am I discouraged?
Why is my heart so sad?
I will put my hope in God!
    I will praise him again—
    my Savior and my God!
Now I am deeply discouraged,
    but I will remember you—
even from distant Mount Hermon, the source of the Jordan,
from the land of Mount Mizar.
I hear the tumult of the raging seas
as your waves and surging tides sweep over me.
But each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me,
and through each night I sing his songs,
praying to God who gives me life.
“O God my rock,” I cry,
    “Why have you forgotten me?
Why must I wander around in grief,
    oppressed by my enemies?”
10 Their taunts break my bones.
They scoff, “Where is this God of yours?”
11 Why am I discouraged?
Why is my heart so sad?
I will put my hope in God!
    I will praise him again—
    my Savior and my God!
Love,
Jonathan

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“The best way to do something is to aim straight for the target that is meant for you, which is the easiest method and direction of travel that God is navigating in your life.”  ~  Jon Barnes

Straight

Straight from the heart, God teaches us all the things we need to know when we respect, acknowledge, share, and thank Him for the love from His Biblical Teachings.  You cannot take God’s own Words, Work, and World to create new fake stories up for your own causes, which enslaves people in traditions of evil behavior.  Do not become distracted by wicked people and their smiling lies.  Question what you are doing and who you are following.

Navigation

Make sure you have and read your own set of instructions from God so that your mental, spiritual, and physical navigation systems are not offline.  Avoiding all other misguided directions, actions, and mistakes can make your life a lot easier, more interesting, with time to explore new things.  You don’t want to be caught driving in the middle of nowhere without a source of God’s directions, resources, transportation, and sustenance to keep you spiritual and physically alive.

Sustenance

It is impossible to remain healthy by eating what the devil gives you for food, thoughts, imitation faith, and counterfeit love.  He is not the author or target of our faith and love because he is NOT God.  The devil will mix up the bad with the good so that your targets becomes a distorted blur to weaken your mind, body, and resolve. Let God sustain you in all things by focusing all that you are and have upon God’s love, grace, mercy, and faith.  This work of love in your life will connect you to the real, true, and only ONE TARGET – JESUS!
Today’s Question
Did the devil target you as a weak minded person who will follow anything, anybody, anyhow, and anywhere that is away from God?

Psalm 41

For the choir director: A psalm of David.

Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor!
The Lord rescues them when they are in trouble.
The Lord protects them
    and keeps them alive.
He gives them prosperity in the land
and rescues them from their enemies.
The Lord nurses them when they are sick
    and restores them to health.
“O Lord,” I prayed, “have mercy on me.
Heal me, for I have sinned against you.”
But my enemies say nothing but evil about me.
“How soon will he die and be forgotten?” they ask.
They visit me as if they were my friends,
but all the while they gather gossip,
and when they leave, they spread it everywhere.
All who hate me whisper about me,
    imagining the worst.
“He has some fatal disease,” they say.
“He will never get out of that bed!”
Even my best friend, the one I trusted completely,
the one who shared my food, has turned against me.
10 Lord, have mercy on me.
Make me well again, so I can pay them back!
11 I know you are pleased with me,
for you have not let my enemies triumph over me.
12 You have preserved my life because I am innocent;
you have brought me into your presence forever.
13 Praise the Lord, the God of Israel,
who lives from everlasting to everlasting.
Amen and amen!

Love,

Jonathan

New Years

bible-1149924_1920.jpg
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Lord, I pray that I honor you in all that I do and become a blessing to my family, friends, students, and enemies all around the world in this new year.”  ~  Jon Barnes

Times

My daughter and I were cleaning out the garage with here children and we found my first recording on cassette tape, with a cassette tape player from 1995.  After reading the liner notes, looking at pictures, listening with headsets, it finally occurred to me that I successfully recorded my grandmother, mother, friends, and myself to share with my grandkids.  What a blessing to share!

Capsules

The flight of time can be seen and measured in the hands of your children and grandchildren because your life is a documentation and summation of all the things you do care about, love, and share.  Make sure that what you do is worth keeping and sharing.  You don’t want to be embarrassed when your kids, grandkids, and next generations google, read, listen, and reflect upon your life.

Reflections

I am grateful to be able to see my family grow, read, listen, learn, and become inspired by the hard work and helpful suggestions from the ideas God has given me over the years.  Technologies will come and go but the Word of God and its contents will forever remain the same, to get you through The Pearly Gates.  Good people will always be noted for doing the Good work God has for them to do each new year and your reward will be great in Heaven.
Today’s Question
Did you notice how the quality of your work affects others and does God respect your efforts all year long?

Psalm 40

For the choir director: A psalm of David.

I waited patiently for the Lord to help me,
and he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the pit of despair,
out of the mud and the mire.
He set my feet on solid ground
and steadied me as I walked along.
He has given me a new song to sing,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see what he has done and be amazed.
They will put their trust in the Lord.
Oh, the joys of those who trust the Lord,
who have no confidence in the proud
or in those who worship idols.
Lord my God, you have performed many wonders for us.
Your plans for us are too numerous to list.
    You have no equal.
If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds,
I would never come to the end of them.
You take no delight in sacrifices or offerings.
Now that you have made me listen, I finally understand[a]
you don’t require burnt offerings or sin offerings.
Then I said, “Look, I have come.
As is written about me in the Scriptures:
I take joy in doing your will, my God,
for your instructions are written on my heart.”
I have told all your people about your justice.
I have not been afraid to speak out,
as you, O Lord, well know.
10 I have not kept the good news of your justice hidden in my heart;
I have talked about your faithfulness and saving power.
I have told everyone in the great assembly
of your unfailing love and faithfulness.
11 Lord, don’t hold back your tender mercies from me.
Let your unfailing love and faithfulness always protect me.
12 For troubles surround me—
    too many to count!
My sins pile up so high
I can’t see my way out.
They outnumber the hairs on my head.
    I have lost all courage.
13 Please, Lord, rescue me!
Come quickly, Lord, and help me.
14 May those who try to destroy me
be humiliated and put to shame.
May those who take delight in my trouble
    be turned back in disgrace.
15 Let them be horrified by their shame,
for they said, “Aha! We’ve got him now!”
16 But may all who search for you
be filled with joy and gladness in you.
May those who love your salvation
repeatedly shout, “The Lord is great!”
17 As for me, since I am poor and needy,
let the Lord keep me in his thoughts.
You are my helper and my savior.
O my God, do not delay.

Love,

Jonathan
