Arguments

Today’s Quote
“Each side of an argument sounds good, but there can be only one truth to God’s solution for passing His Test.”  ~  Jon Barnes

Dialog

You can speak truthful things out of context and misplace the accuracy of Love and Good Intentions.  This is when silence is the truth and patience is understanding with wisdom.  The more people talk, the greater the probability foolishness will spill from their lips.  Let your dialog copy what God has to say and reflect upon the biblical stories of old.  This dialog will teach you more about the big picture when you read and muse the complete stories and experiences.

Questions

Even though you may have questions, focus, read, and observe all the moving parts in the dialog to get a full understanding of its content, character, structure, pictures, colors, tones and textures.  Your questions will be answered in light of all sides of the arguments before and after they occur.  Vain babbling will continue only because you keep opening up your mouth.  Ergo, your answers will improve in your silence, meditation, prayer, reading, and listing to God, minus your thoughts.

Answers

After you ask the question, God will give you the answers you seek from the most interesting sources and you must be quiet and still to absorb the answers form many directions.  Clarity comes with your good work of faith and time will show, breed, and cultivate God’s solutions, answers and perfect Will.  An argument is a small component of the story with many words, yet God’s solutions are of few words with answers of infinite consequences.

Job 16

Job’s Fifth Speech: A Response to Eliphaz

16 Then Job spoke again:
“I have heard all this before.
    What miserable comforters you are!
Won’t you ever stop blowing hot air?
What makes you keep on talking?
I could say the same things if you were in my place.
I could spout off criticism and shake my head at you.
But if it were me, I would encourage you.
I would try to take away your grief.
Instead, I suffer if I defend myself,
and I suffer no less if I refuse to speak.
“O God, you have ground me down
    and devastated my family.
As if to prove I have sinned, you’ve reduced me to skin and bones.
My gaunt flesh testifies against me.
God hates me and angrily tears me apart.
He snaps his teeth at me
and pierces me with his eyes.
10 People jeer and laugh at me.
They slap my cheek in contempt.
    A mob gathers against me.
11 God has handed me over to sinners.
He has tossed me into the hands of the wicked.
12 “I was living quietly until he shattered me.
He took me by the neck and broke me in pieces.
Then he set me up as his target,
13     and now his archers surround me.
His arrows pierce me without mercy.
The ground is wet with my blood.[a]
14 Again and again he smashes against me,
charging at me like a warrior.
15 I wear burlap to show my grief.
My pride lies in the dust.
16 My eyes are red with weeping;
    dark shadows circle my eyes.
17 Yet I have done no wrong,
    and my prayer is pure.
18 “O earth, do not conceal my blood.
Let it cry out on my behalf.
19 Even now my witness is in heaven.
My advocate is there on high.
20 My friends scorn me,
but I pour out my tears to God.
21 I need someone to mediate between God and me,
as a person mediates between friends.
22 For soon I must go down that road
from which I will never return.

Love,

Jonathan

Conundrum

pieces-of-the-puzzle-592798_1920 (1)
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Your lack of love, faith, and transparency to God and people are the number one reasons why people sin and do wicked things that are full of pride and foolishness.” ~ Jon Barnes

Know

People think that they know it all and God knows nothing. Our arrogance is beyond measure, behaving as if we designed the universe and everything in it. We tend to think that God can’t see our evil hearts, minds, and lifestyles.  Just because it seems God has done little to stop us in our tracks of injustice, we think we have gotten away with the constant deception. But when you look at your children and state of affairs, you can see the blessings of God or the curses of God in your life, based on your actions.

Follow

Those who obey and follow God will break the chains of ignorance, pride, lust, greed, and all other wicked behavior that consumes evil people. Your sin can be subtle and you may not be aware of your arrogance of success. However, your collection of things are, like trash from a hoarder and when you die, it is given and sold to the poor, deeply discounted, and ultimately, it will burn.

Value

When you die, your stuff has no value and the living will do as they please with your lifelong possessions. Only God will value and repay you for your lifelong efforts either in heaven or hell.  Choose your parking lot space for death, underground or above ground. Share, teach, and obey God’s lifestyle so that you can see the fruits of your labor as true children of God, heaven bound.

2 Samuel 9

David’s Kindness to Mephibosheth

One day David asked, “Is anyone in Saul’s family still alive—anyone to whom I can show kindness for Jonathan’s sake?” He summoned a man named Ziba, who had been one of Saul’s servants. “Are you Ziba?” the king asked.
“Yes sir, I am,” Ziba replied.
The king then asked him, “Is anyone still alive from Saul’s family? If so, I want to show God’s kindness to them.”
Ziba replied, “Yes, one of Jonathan’s sons is still alive. He is crippled in both feet.”
“Where is he?” the king asked.
“In Lo-debar,” Ziba told him, “at the home of Makir son of Ammiel.”
So David sent for him and brought him from Makir’s home. His name was Mephibosheth[a]; he was Jonathan’s son and Saul’s grandson. When he came to David, he bowed low to the ground in deep respect. David said, “Greetings, Mephibosheth.”
Mephibosheth replied, “I am your servant.”
“Don’t be afraid!” David said. “I intend to show kindness to you because of my promise to your father, Jonathan. I will give you all the property that once belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will eat here with me at the king’s table!”
Mephibosheth bowed respectfully and exclaimed, “Who is your servant, that you should show such kindness to a dead dog like me?”
Then the king summoned Saul’s servant Ziba and said, “I have given your master’s grandson everything that belonged to Saul and his family. 10 You and your sons and servants are to farm the land for him to produce food for your master’s household.[b] But Mephibosheth, your master’s grandson, will eat here at my table.” (Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.)
11 Ziba replied, “Yes, my lord the king; I am your servant, and I will do all that you have commanded.” And from that time on, Mephibosheth ate regularly at David’s table,[c] like one of the king’s own sons.
12 Mephibosheth had a young son named Mica. From then on, all the members of Ziba’s household were Mephibosheth’s servants. 13 And Mephibosheth, who was crippled in both feet, lived in Jerusalem and ate regularly at the king’s table.

Controlled Self

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Self-control and restraint are tools you use, that allows the Good Work that you do for God to float through the air with no physical evidence, yet God’s Power is Felt.” ~  Jon Barnes

Controlled Wisdom

Being mature comes with time and practice. You can see the results of older mature people and the wisdom in their voices ring clearly. The actions of these people are focused to hit specific targets and net amazing results. Walking with God gives you controlled wisdom and patience.

Uncontrolled Foolishness

The look of a fool is like a black cloud storm moving towards you. At a distance, you’ll notice to set a new course, plan, or explosion of controlled wisdom to prepare for the proper outcome. It is never a good idea to walk into a hurricane of foolishness. Let God fight that battle as you pray and leave the foolishness of others alone!

Self Awareness with God

God will make you aware of Him because your heart is listening because you want something better than the foolishness that you see around you.  Surround yourself with God’s presence and foolish people will vanish from your life. You will see and know them from a distance, love relationship and when people get tired of their foolishness, they will contact you for help and support. Otherwise, many people will die and go to Hell in their foolishness. Bless God for the truth about foolishness.
Today’s Question
We all have been foolish, but have you changed your mind yet and asked God for help?

Numbers 36

Women Who Inherit Property

36 Then the heads of the clans of Gilead—descendants of Makir, son of Manasseh, son of Joseph—came to Moses and the family leaders of Israel with a petition. They said, “Sir, the Lord instructed you to divide the land by sacred lot among the people of Israel. You were told by the Lord to give the grant of land owned by our brother Zelophehad to his daughters. But if they marry men from another tribe, their grants of land will go with them to the tribe into which they marry. In this way, the total area of our tribal land will be reduced. Then when the Year of Jubilee comes, their portion of land will be added to that of the new tribe, causing it to be lost forever to our ancestral tribe.”
So Moses gave the Israelites this command from the Lord: “The claim of the men of the tribe of Joseph is legitimate. This is what the Lord commands concerning the daughters of Zelophehad: Let them marry anyone they like, as long as it is within their own ancestral tribe.None of the territorial land may pass from tribe to tribe, for all the land given to each tribe must remain within the tribe to which it was first allotted. The daughters throughout the tribes of Israel who are in line to inherit property must marry within their tribe, so that all the Israelites will keep their ancestral property. No grant of land may pass from one tribe to another; each tribe of Israel must keep its allotted portion of land.”
10 The daughters of Zelophehad did as the Lord commanded Moses. 11 Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Noah all married cousins on their father’s side. 12 They married into the clans of Manasseh son of Joseph. Thus, their inheritance of land remained within their ancestral tribe.
13 These are the commands and regulations that the Lord gave to the people of Israel through Moses while they were camped on the plains of Moab beside the Jordan River, across from Jericho.
Love,

Jonathan
