Dose

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“It’s better to receive an uncomfortable dose of truth from a friend than to idly walk down the path of destruction as a peer cheers you on.”

TB

Fake

People of this world struggle to define and maintain a relationship with Christ because they’d rather be hypnotized by the songs of the opposition. They excitedly play the destructive tunes of sin because the sound is pleasing to the ear. Those same people find offense to wise council.

Taste

The truth begins when we accept the nutrients that Christ provides. At the start, it’s not as outwardly attractive as the sin-fallen world, but its benefits are everlasting. When wise council provides you with a wholesome dose of truth, be grateful that they loved you enough to share their wisdom with you.

Today’s Question

What’s better a brother who corrects your misdeeds or a brother that encourages your bad behavior?

Ezekiel 45

1 “When you divide the land among the tribes of Israel, you must set aside a section for the LORD as his holy portion. This piece of land will be 8 miles long and 6 miles wide. The entire area will be holy. 2 A section of this land, measuring 875 feet by 875 feet, will be set aside for the Temple. An additional strip of land 87 feet wide is to be left empty all around it. 3 Within the larger sacred area, measure out a portion of land 8 miles long and 3 miles wide. Within it the sanctuary of the Most Holy Place will be located. 4 This area will be holy, set aside for the priests who minister to the LORD in the sanctuary. They will use it for their homes, and my Temple will be located within it. 5 The strip of sacred land next to it, also 8 miles long and 3 miles wide, will be a living area for the Levites who work at the Temple. It will be their possession and a place for their towns. 6 “Adjacent to the larger sacred area will be a section of land 8 miles long and 1 miles wide. This will be set aside for a city where anyone in Israel can live. 7 “Two special sections of land will be set apart for the prince. One section will share a border with the east side of the sacred lands and city, and the second section will share a border on the west side. Then the far eastern and western borders of the prince’s lands will line up with the eastern and western boundaries of the tribal areas. 8 These sections of land will be the prince’s allotment. Then my princes will no longer oppress and rob my people; they will assign the rest of the land to the people, giving an allotment to each tribe. 9 “For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Enough, you princes of Israel! Stop your violence and oppression and do what is just and right. Quit robbing and cheating my people out of their land. Stop expelling them from their homes, says the Sovereign LORD . 10 Use only honest weights and scales and honest measures, both dry and liquid. 11 The homer will be your standard unit for measuring volume. The ephah and the bath will each measure one-tenth of a homer. 12 The standard unit for weight will be the silver shekel. One shekel will consist of twenty gerahs, and sixty shekels will be equal to one mina. 13 “You must give this tax to the prince: one bushel of wheat or barley for every 60 you harvest, 14 one percent of your olive oil, 15 and one sheep or goat for every 200 in your flocks in Israel. These will be the grain offerings, burnt offerings, and peace offerings that will make atonement for the people who bring them, says the Sovereign LORD . 16 All the people of Israel must join in bringing these offerings to the prince. 17 The prince will be required to provide offerings that are given at the religious festivals, the new moon celebrations, the Sabbath days, and all other similar occasions. He will provide the sin offerings, burnt offerings, grain offerings, liquid offerings, and peace offerings to purify the people of Israel, making them right with the LORD . 18 “This is what the Sovereign LORD says: In early spring, on the first day of each new year, sacrifice a young bull with no defects to purify the Temple. 19 The priest will take blood from this sin offering and put it on the doorposts of the Temple, the four corners of the upper ledge of the altar, and the gateposts at the entrance to the inner courtyard. 20 Do this also on the seventh day of the new year for anyone who has sinned through error or ignorance. In this way, you will purify the Temple. 21 “On the fourteenth day of the first month, you must celebrate the Passover. This festival will last for seven days. The bread you eat during that time must be made without yeast. 22 On the day of Passover the prince will provide a young bull as a sin offering for himself and the people of Israel. 23 On each of the seven days of the feast he will prepare a burnt offering to the LORD, consisting of seven young bulls and seven rams without defects. A male goat will also be given each day for a sin offering. 24 The prince will provide a basket of flour as a grain offering and a gallon of olive oil with each young bull and ram. 25 “During the seven days of the Festival of Shelters, which occurs every year in early autumn, the prince will provide these same sacrifices for the sin offering, the burnt offering, and the grain offering, along with the required olive oil.

Today’s Quote

“If you want to hear God’s Truth, simply silence the noise around you and tune in”~TB

Steal Away

There are so many distractions that we fall prey to on any given day. What you choose to focus on sets the tone of your mindset. Find some time in the day to bask in the peace and quiet of the Lord. When you steal away from the world’s nonsense, you are able to hear His voice which will reveal your purpose and next steps. Take care to listen for Him.

Less is more

People tend to talk themselves out of their inheritance perpetuating confidence as if they control the Hand of God. Friends, you’d do well to wait patiently for instruction rather than try and force His hand. As an experienced and reformed meddler, I can guarantee you that God’s timing supersedes human logic. Enjoy the silence and rest in His grace while you move in this world.

Silence brings Truth

The less you say and the more you listen, you will see that people show you who they are. Pay attention and be diligent about who you spend your time with. Those that intend to rob you of your peace and joy blatantly display their nefarious intentions. When you are quiet and focused their deceptive ways practices are glaringly apparent. The same goes for those who consider themselves wise. Be silent so that you can discern the real from the fake.

Today’s Question

Are you learning to enjoy the silence or are you hell bent on loudly displaying your ignorance?

Psalm 84

1 How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD of Heaven’s Armies.
2 I long, yes, I faint with longing to enter the courts of the LORD . With my whole being, body and soul, I will shout joyfully to the living God.
3 Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow builds her nest and raises her young at a place near your altar, O LORD of Heaven’s Armies, my King and my God!
4 What joy for those who can live in your house, always singing your praises. Interlude
5 What joy for those whose strength comes from the LORD, who have set their minds on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem.
6When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs. The autumn rains will clothe it with blessings.
7 They will continue to grow stronger, and each of them will appear before God in Jerusalem.
8 O LORD God of Heaven’s Armies, hear my prayer. Listen, O God of Jacob. Interlude
9 O God, look with favor upon the king, our shield! Show favor to the one you have anointed.
10 A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked.
11 For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right.
12 O LORD of Heaven’s Armies, what joy for those who trust in you.

Distinguish

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“If you know the difference between a clean baby’s bottom versus a poopy diaper, how much more will God, Your Father know about the clean and unclean ways of mankind?” ~ Jon Barnes

The Smell

You cannot hide the smell of your evil from God. Ask Him how you should wipe your own butt. Unless you physically can’t, don’t ask people to do this task for you. The quality of love and life you get from God hinges on how well you receive instructions on how you should clean yourself. Distinguished behavior towards God’s love has a good odor.

Unfollow

Many people will not follow the instructions and bad things happen and you can smell their approach. Since we cannot see everything like God can see things, we cannot know the full story of a person’s life, problems, success or failure, but you can smell their trail and their tail. We are not the judge and only God can make the call of accepting your offering or rejecting it. Pray that God does not unfriend or unfollow you, as you search for that narrow Gate to Heaven.

Unfriend

You will lose friends who choose not to follow God’s instructions because they don’t want to be reminded of their unclean behaviors and smells.  If you smell Good, then disobedient people will smell infinitely worse by default. The devil’s job is to clog up all of your senses so that you are numb to the sin you openly and proudly commit each day along with the lying stories you tell, which will follow you to Hell. Thanks for un-friending me if you are following the devil and his distinguished character of evil and disobedience.
Today’s Question
Will you distinguish your choice to follow Good God or the evil devil with your love and lifestyle or do you need a friendly fiery reminder of Hell’s Kitchen?

Leviticus 11

Ceremonially Clean and Unclean Animals

11 Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel.
“Of all the land animals, these are the ones you may use for food. You may eat any animal that has completely split hooves and chews the cud. You may not, however, eat the following animals[a] that have split hooves or that chew the cud, but not both. The camel chews the cud but does not have split hooves, so it is ceremonially unclean for you. The hyrax[b] chews the cud but does not have split hooves, so it is unclean. The hare chews the cud but does not have split hooves, so it is unclean. The pig has evenly split hooves but does not chew the cud, so it is unclean. You may not eat the meat of these animals or even touch their carcasses. They are ceremonially unclean for you.
“Of all the marine animals, these are ones you may use for food. You may eat anything from the water if it has both fins and scales, whether taken from salt water or from streams. 10 But you must never eat animals from the sea or from rivers that do not have both fins and scales. They are detestable to you. This applies both to little creatures that live in shallow water and to all creatures that live in deep water. 11 They will always be detestable to you. You must never eat their meat or even touch their dead bodies. 12 Any marine animal that does not have both fins and scales is detestable to you.
13 “These are the birds that are detestable to you. You must never eat them: the griffon vulture, the bearded vulture, the black vulture, 14 the kite, falcons of all kinds, 15 ravens of all kinds, 16 the eagle owl, the short-eared owl, the seagull, hawks of all kinds, 17 the little owl, the cormorant, the great owl, 18 the barn owl, the desert owl, the Egyptian vulture, 19 the stork, herons of all kinds, the hoopoe, and the bat.
20 “You must not eat winged insects that walk along the ground; they are detestable to you. 21 You may, however, eat winged insects that walk along the ground and have jointed legs so they can jump. 22 The insects you are permitted to eat include all kinds of locusts, bald locusts, crickets, and grasshoppers. 23 All other winged insects that walk along the ground are detestable to you.
24 “The following creatures will make you ceremonially unclean. If any of you touch their carcasses, you will be defiled until evening. 25 If you pick up their carcasses, you must wash your clothes, and you will remain defiled until evening.
26 “Any animal that has split hooves that are not evenly divided or that does not chew the cud is unclean for you. If you touch the carcass of such an animal, you will be defiled. 27 Of the animals that walk on all fours, those that have paws are unclean. If you touch the carcass of such an animal, you will be defiled until evening. 28 If you pick up its carcass, you must wash your clothes, and you will remain defiled until evening. These animals are unclean for you.
29 “Of the small animals that scurry along the ground, these are unclean for you: the mole rat, the rat, large lizards of all kinds, 30 the gecko, the monitor lizard, the common lizard, the sand lizard, and the chameleon. 31 All these small animals are unclean for you. If any of you touch the dead body of such an animal, you will be defiled until evening. 32 If such an animal dies and falls on something, that object will be unclean. This is true whether the object is made of wood, cloth, leather, or burlap. Whatever its use, you must dip it in water, and it will remain defiled until evening. After that, it will be ceremonially clean and may be used again.
33 “If such an animal falls into a clay pot, everything in the pot will be defiled, and the pot must be smashed. 34 If the water from such a container spills on any food, the food will be defiled. And any beverage in such a container will be defiled.35 Any object on which the carcass of such an animal falls will be defiled. If it is an oven or hearth, it must be destroyed, for it is defiled, and you must treat it accordingly.
36 “However, if the carcass of such an animal falls into a spring or a cistern, the water will still be clean. But anyone who touches the carcass will be defiled. 37 If the carcass falls on seed grain to be planted in the field, the seed will still be considered clean. 38 But if the seed is wet when the carcass falls on it, the seed will be defiled.
39 “If an animal you are permitted to eat dies and you touch its carcass, you will be defiled until evening. 40 If you eat any of its meat or carry away its carcass, you must wash your clothes, and you will remain defiled until evening.
41 “All small animals that scurry along the ground are detestable, and you must never eat them. 42 This includes all animals that slither along on their bellies, as well as those with four legs and those with many feet. All such animals that scurry along the ground are detestable, and you must never eat them. 43 Do not defile yourselves by touching them. You must not make yourselves ceremonially unclean because of them. 44 For I am the Lord your God. You must consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy. So do not defile yourselves with any of these small animals that scurry along the ground. 45 For I, the Lord, am the one who brought you up from the land of Egypt, that I might be your God. Therefore, you must be holy because I am holy.
46 “These are the instructions regarding land animals, birds, marine creatures, and animals that scurry along the ground. 47 By these instructions you will know what is unclean and clean, and which animals may be eaten and which may not be eaten.”
Love,
Jonathan

Trusted Friend

 Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

” A Trusted Friend or leader does not lie, cheat, and steal from people, just like the devil did with God!” ~ Jon Barnes

Loyalty Laps

God will test you to see if you are a valued true friend, who stays focused on the work and not the money! Be a faithful helper and God will see to it that you get your reward and provisions. Focus your energy on the job and God will work the miracles, right before everyone’s eyes, leaving you in the leadership position across the finish line of life. The devil has already lost, so why are you following him, the loser?

Training Tips

Do not reject your education and training you need to defeat the devil, standing on your own, with God at your side. You are a student of God, getting in shape, going to His Gym, and practicing daily exercises of Heavenly Value and Mystery. In God, We Trust should be written on your heart, burned into your mind, wrapped around your body, and absorbed into your SOUL to successfully train with God.

Set Times

The plan is to stay ready for work and battle all of the time, helping, giving, loving, mentoring and achieving the objectives from your training sessions. Get into the ring, look into the mirror and start shadow boxing at yourself. You are your biggest enemy and God must teach you how to defeat yourself and your evil will, so that the Will of God may Grow into your life. Your soil must be cleaned and washed in the Blood of Christ and it’s time for your training to go to the next level of loyalty!

Today’s Question

Can God trust you with a free lifetime membership at His GYM or will you be the fake friend to flake out and not show up?

Ephesians 5

5 1 Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children 2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. 4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. 5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.[a] 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. 7 Therefore do not be partners with them.
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. 14 This is why it is said:
“Wake up, sleeper,
rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”
15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. 18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord,20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Instructions for Christian Households

21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing[b] her by the washing with water through the word,27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— 30 for we are members of his body. 31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”[c]32 This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church.33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

Love,

Jonathan
