Legacy of Languish

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“leaning on your own understanding leads to languish, lust, pride, greed, and bad choices because we intentionally forget God’s plan and ways which prompt us to break His Commandments.” ~ Jon Barnes

Score

When you are busy writing your own music, orchestrating your life, playing the parts in your head, and organizing your personal family band, you don’t have time to lust after the looks and sounds of another band. Yes, you can notice beauty from a distance, but, it is the inner beauty that attracts God, and drives the motives of the righteous.  Be sure to score this type of music and thinking into your soul, so that people can see your real beauty, not just your hair cut or lipstick. Score quality, relevant, realistic, honest, and natural beauty in your heart, work, life, and faith.

Invitation

The Score of your life is a video, musical, stage and an invitation to the movies in your life and character definition directed by God or the devil. The documentation of your actions speaks volumes from your heart and people know who you are, at a glance.Your history has painted a clear picture of where you are headed, because many will die in their sins and few will be saved by the grace of God! Your job is to take the invitation and re-write your the story and score to your personal movie and life. We all can see, what you don’t want us to see, especially God!

The Deal

Take the deal and don’t get distracted by the jokes, play time, and party life of empty pleasure, from one night stands. Marry your King or Queen and live like one, treating your mate, with the quality of how God teaches you in all things. Good students of God will be the best, honest, servants, communicators, and helpers, who actively listens to God and healthy reason. Let God show you what to do, who to marry, where to work, how to talk, listen, and grow in grace. Avoid the empty attention from lust, greed, and power, which cannot be fulfilled and study God’s Bible, which is a score, script, story, and law unto itself of the Word of God.

Today’s Question

Did you know that we are all composers inventing and branding the music and script of our own artwork, history, language, culture, and life or are you lusting after another script ignoring your own and copying, hijacking, or destroying someone else’s life?

Numbers 31

Conquest of the Midianites

31 Then the Lord said to Moses, “On behalf of the people of Israel, take revenge on the Midianites for leading them into idolatry. After that, you will die and join your ancestors.”
So Moses said to the people, “Choose some men, and arm them to fight the Lord’s war of revenge against Midian. From each tribe of Israel, send 1,000 men into battle.” So they chose 1,000 men from each tribe of Israel, a total of 12,000 men armed for battle. Then Moses sent them out, 1,000 men from each tribe, and Phinehas son of Eleazar the priest led them into battle. They carried along the holy objects of the sanctuary and the trumpets for sounding the charge. They attacked Midian as the Lord had commanded Moses, and they killed all the men. All five of the Midianite kings—Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba—died in the battle. They also killed Balaam son of Beor with the sword.
Then the Israelite army captured the Midianite women and children and seized their cattle and flocks and all their wealth as plunder. 10 They burned all the towns and villages where the Midianites had lived. 11 After they had gathered the plunder and captives, both people and animals, 12 they brought them all to Moses and Eleazar the priest, and to the whole community of Israel, which was camped on the plains of Moab beside the Jordan River, across from Jericho. 13 Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the community went to meet them outside the camp. 14 But Moses was furious with all the generals and captains[a] who had returned from the battle.
15 “Why have you let all the women live?” he demanded. 16 “These are the very ones who followed Balaam’s advice and caused the people of Israel to rebel against the Lord at Mount Peor. They are the ones who caused the plague to strike the Lord’s people. 17 So kill all the boys and all the women who have had intercourse with a man. 18 Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves. 19 And all of you who have killed anyone or touched a dead body must stay outside the camp for seven days. You must purify yourselves and your captives on the third and seventh days. 20 Purify all your clothing, too, and everything made of leather, goat hair, or wood.”
21 Then Eleazar the priest said to the men who were in the battle, “The Lord has given Moses this legal requirement: 22 Anything made of gold, silver, bronze, iron, tin, or lead— 23 that is, all metals that do not burn—must be passed through fire in order to be made ceremonially pure. These metal objects must then be further purified with the water of purification. But everything that burns must be purified by the water alone. 24 On the seventh day you must wash your clothes and be purified. Then you may return to the camp.”

Division of the Plunder

25 And the Lord said to Moses, 26 “You and Eleazar the priest and the family leaders of each tribe are to make a list of all the plunder taken in the battle, including the people and animals.27 Then divide the plunder into two parts, and give half to the men who fought the battle and half to the rest of the people. 28 From the army’s portion, first give the Lord his share of the plunder—one of every 500 of the prisoners and of the cattle, donkeys, sheep, and goats.29 Give this share of the army’s half to Eleazar the priest as an offering to the Lord. 30 From the half that belongs to the people of Israel, take one of every fifty of the prisoners and of the cattle, donkeys, sheep, goats, and other animals. Give this share to the Levites, who are in charge of maintaining the Lord’s Tabernacle.” 31 So Moses and Eleazar the priest did as the Lord commanded Moses.
32 The plunder remaining from everything the fighting men had taken totaled 675,000 sheep and goats, 33 72,000 cattle, 34 61,000 donkeys, 35 and 32,000 virgin girls.
36 Half of the plunder was given to the fighting men. It totaled 337,500 sheep and goats, 37 of which 675 were the Lord’s share; 38 36,000 cattle, of which 72 were the Lord’s share; 39 30,500 donkeys, of which 61 were the Lord’s share; 40 and 16,000 virgin girls, of whom 32 were the Lord’s share. 41 Moses gave all the Lord’s share to Eleazar the priest, just as the Lord had directed him.
42 Half of the plunder belonged to the people of Israel, and Moses separated it from the half belonging to the fighting men. 43 It totaled 337,500 sheep and goats, 44 36,000 cattle, 45 30,500 donkeys, 46 and 16,000 virgin girls. 47 From the half-share given to the people, Moses took one of every fifty prisoners and animals and gave them to the Levites, who maintained the Lord’s Tabernacle. All this was done as the Lord had commanded Moses.
48 Then all the generals and captains came to Moses 49 and said, “We, your servants, have accounted for all the men who went out to battle under our command; not one of us is missing!50 So we are presenting the items of gold we captured as an offering to the Lord from our share of the plunder—armbands, bracelets, rings, earrings, and necklaces. This will purify our lives before the Lord and make us right with him.[b]
51 So Moses and Eleazar the priest received the gold from all the military commanders—all kinds of jewelry and crafted objects. 52 In all, the gold that the generals and captains presented as a gift to the Lord weighed about 420 pounds.[c] 53 All the fighting men had taken some of the plunder for themselves. 54 So Moses and Eleazar the priest accepted the gifts from the generals and captains and brought the gold to the Tabernacle[d] as a reminder to the Lord that the people of Israel belong to him.

Great Idea

ideas-and-innovations-PXV2XF5.jpg
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Great habits are formed from daily exercises of God’s laws and commandments to strengthen your heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit into the form and shape that connects to God’s Spirit of honest truth.” ~ Jon Barnes

Face The

Your face begins to look like the image of God because you are looking into the same mirror your Heavenly Father is looking into, with your heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit open and connected to God.  Face the music by playing God’s music of love to discover the best options for your life and new ideas of success.

Music Maestro

You must follow God, as he conducts the music of your life, following directions, cues, and signals from the beginning to the end of your Christian walk. You cannot fake the music like fake Christians who expect to make it into heaven but whine up in hell, because of disobedience. Either the devil is your conductor or God is your conductor; pick one and be happy and honest with your choice.

Natural Pick

Naturally, we all enjoy having fun, but not at the expense of others, especially God. There is no need to hurt or embarrass your Dad because you refuse to listen and learn from Him.  Quickly apologize, repent, come clean, learn, listen and do the right things to do the good work God Commands. It is not a choice, but a commandment. Select God’s Choice and ignore your own choice, which is a Great Idea!

Today’s Question

You will always look, sound, and be smart when you follow God’s Great Ideas or are you copying the devil?

Exodus 21

Fair Treatment of Slaves

21 “These are the regulations you must present to Israel.
“If you buy a Hebrew slave, he may serve for no more than six years. Set him free in the seventh year, and he will owe you nothing for his freedom. If he was single when he became your slave, he shall leave single. But if he was married before he became a slave, then his wife must be freed with him.
“If his master gave him a wife while he was a slave and they had sons or daughters, then only the man will be free in the seventh year, but his wife and children will still belong to his master. But the slave may declare, ‘I love my master, my wife, and my children. I don’t want to go free.’ If he does this, his master must present him before God.[a] Then his master must take him to the door or doorpost and publicly pierce his ear with an awl. After that, the slave will serve his master for life.
“When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not satisfy her owner, he must allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. But if the slave’s owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave but as a daughter.
10 “If a man who has married a slave wife takes another wife for himself, he must not neglect the rights of the first wife to food, clothing, and sexual intimacy. 11 If he fails in any of these three obligations, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment.

Cases of Personal Injury

12 “Anyone who assaults and kills another person must be put to death. 13 But if it was simply an accident permitted by God, I will appoint a place of refuge where the slayer can run for safety. 14 However, if someone deliberately kills another person, then the slayer must be dragged even from my altar and be put to death.
15 “Anyone who strikes father or mother must be put to death.
16 “Kidnappers must be put to death, whether they are caught in possession of their victims or have already sold them as slaves.
17 “Anyone who dishonors[b] father or mother must be put to death.
18 “Now suppose two men quarrel, and one hits the other with a stone or fist, and the injured person does not die but is confined to bed. 19 If he is later able to walk outside again, even with a crutch, the assailant will not be punished but must compensate his victim for lost wages and provide for his full recovery.
20 “If a man beats his male or female slave with a club and the slave dies as a result, the owner must be punished. 21 But if the slave recovers within a day or two, then the owner shall not be punished, since the slave is his property.
22 “Now suppose two men are fighting, and in the process they accidentally strike a pregnant woman so she gives birth prematurely.[c] If no further injury results, the man who struck the woman must pay the amount of compensation the woman’s husband demands and the judges approve. 23 But if there is further injury, the punishment must match the injury: a life for a life, 24 an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a hand for a hand, a foot for a foot, 25 a burn for a burn, a wound for a wound, a bruise for a bruise.
26 “If a man hits his male or female slave in the eye and the eye is blinded, he must let the slave go free to compensate for the eye. 27 And if a man knocks out the tooth of his male or female slave, he must let the slave go free to compensate for the tooth.
28 “If an ox[d] gores a man or woman to death, the ox must be stoned, and its flesh may not be eaten. In such a case, however, the owner will not be held liable. 29 But suppose the ox had a reputation for goring, and the owner had been informed but failed to keep it under control. If the ox then kills someone, it must be stoned, and the owner must also be put to death. 30 However, the dead person’s relatives may accept payment to compensate for the loss of life. The owner of the ox may redeem his life by paying whatever is demanded.
31 “The same regulation applies if the ox gores a boy or a girl. 32 But if the ox gores a slave, either male or female, the animal’s owner must pay the slave’s owner thirty silver coins,[e] and the ox must be stoned.
33 “Suppose someone digs or uncovers a pit and fails to cover it, and then an ox or a donkey falls into it. 34 The owner of the pit must pay full compensation to the owner of the animal, but then he gets to keep the dead animal.
35 “If someone’s ox injures a neighbor’s ox and the injured ox dies, then the two owners must sell the live ox and divide the price equally between them. They must also divide the dead animal. 36 But if the ox had a reputation for goring, yet its owner failed to keep it under control, he must pay full compensation—a live ox for the dead one—but he may keep the dead ox.

Love,

Jonathan

Careful Consideration

thinking-272677_1920
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Careful consideration is mindful when using your GCS to navigate in a new or old country road with God’sCommon Sense and God’s Personal Playbook, GPP.

Conviction

The quality of who you are must always remain when evaluating decisions, making each step count, turning onto the proper road, and following God’s narrow path. Many people are going down the wrong path and following fake detours, unaware of their true destination of destruction and death, DDD. A Good Father leads and directs us into understanding, wisdom, guidance, and Love with instructions, a system, methodology, traffic signs, rules, regulations, and Biblical Laws for driving in all countries. These lessons bring forth longevity and eternal life with God the Father and hope for generations!

Confusion

Biblical Laws are not the same as natural, man made laws.  Changing God’s Laws with man made laws are not an option for Christians.  The blessing of man comes from God, His Order, and Ways, which will never change or become popular in the ways of the wicked.  I wish to obey God’s Laws first and avoid COI, Conflicts of Interest, with are stumbling blocks, detours, and misguided thinking from people who do not understand your purpose.  I must hold myself up to God’s higher standards to follow His lead and not my own confusion of man’s mind sets and the devil’s traps.

Correction

When the fullness of evil has come, God will correct things with a twinkle of an eye, since time has no meaning to God’s existence.  Our thinking must be corrected as our weakness is considered as strength in the Hands of God.  The modulation of the mind, heart, body, and spirit begins to see and understand the Mind of God with a Great Love for biblical, daily application and faith.  God does things instantly and our time of the universe evolves and revolves around God Grace and Will.  I stand corrected by the Lord is my motto in God, which is on my personal coins, bills, and future plans of consideration.
Today’s Question
How accurate are your ways aligned with God’s Biblical Road Map and wisdom to understand GCS, God’s Common Sense, using God’s Personal Playbook, GPP, while avoiding the path of DDD, which is the destination of destruction and death and other personal COI, conflicts of interest; being full of greed, lust, pride, and empty waste?

1 Corinthians 3New International Version (NIV)

The Church and Its Leaders

Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly—mere infants in Christ. I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans? For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not mere human beings?
What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.
10 By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. 11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13 their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. 14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. 15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.
16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? 17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.
18 Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”[a]; 20 and again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.”[b]21 So then, no more boasting about human leaders! All things are yours, 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas[c] or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, 23 and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.

Love,

Jonathan
