Mad Men

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“There are plenty of mad people who ignore God’s warnings and pretend to be wise with wickedness, but God has a special reward and place for them.” ~ Jon Barnes

Are You

Mad people enjoy imitating other mad people and they love each other’s company. Are you one of them? Of course, you’re not because you’re reading this and working on improving your status with God. Each day we potentially grow to get better with grace and love and it is fascinating to see the improvements. Keep improving.

Understanding

By doing what God asks, you begin to understand a little more about the big picture of life and love. We experience rays of hope, love, grace, and mercy from the cracks of darkness and suddenly, the sun shines and blots out all the evil and darkness. It all seems slow, gradual, but life ends quicker than you think.

Improvements

You should be concerned when you are not improving your understanding and walk with God. God is always expanding and improving perfection. I don’t have to understand how this happens, but I believe it to be true. Each life has a purpose and meaning from God, otherwise, you may grow mad.

1 Samuel 24

David Spares Saul’s Life

24 [a]After Saul returned from fighting the Philistines, he was told that David had gone into the wilderness of En-gedi. So Saul chose 3,000 elite troops from all Israel and went to search for David and his men near the rocks of the wild goats.
At the place where the road passes some sheepfolds, Saul went into a cave to relieve himself. But as it happened, David and his men were hiding farther back in that very cave!
“Now’s your opportunity!” David’s men whispered to him. “Today the Lord is telling you, ‘I will certainly put your enemy into your power, to do with as you wish.’” So David crept forward and cut off a piece of the hem of Saul’s robe.
But then David’s conscience began bothering him because he had cut Saul’s robe. He said to his men, “The Lord forbid that I should do this to my lord the king. I shouldn’t attack the Lord’s anointed one, for the Lord himself has chosen him.” So David restrained his men and did not let them kill Saul.
After Saul had left the cave and gone on his way, David came out and shouted after him, “My lord the king!” And when Saul looked around, David bowed low before him.
Then he shouted to Saul, “Why do you listen to the people who say I am trying to harm you? 10 This very day you can see with your own eyes it isn’t true. For the Lord placed you at my mercy back there in the cave. Some of my men told me to kill you, but I spared you. For I said, ‘I will never harm the king—he is the Lord’s anointed one.’ 11 Look, my father, at what I have in my hand. It is a piece of the hem of your robe! I cut it off, but I didn’t kill you. This proves that I am not trying to harm you and that I have not sinned against you, even though you have been hunting for me to kill me.
12 “May the Lord judge between us. Perhaps the Lord will punish you for what you are trying to do to me, but I will never harm you. 13 As that old proverb says, ‘From evil people come evil deeds.’ So you can be sure I will never harm you. 14 Who is the king of Israel trying to catch anyway? Should he spend his time chasing one who is as worthless as a dead dog or a single flea? 15 May the Lord therefore judge which of us is right and punish the guilty one. He is my advocate, and he will rescue me from your power!”
16 When David had finished speaking, Saul called back, “Is that really you, my son David?” Then he began to cry. 17 And he said to David, “You are a better man than I am, for you have repaid me good for evil. 18 Yes, you have been amazingly kind to me today, for when the Lordput me in a place where you could have killed me, you didn’t do it. 19 Who else would let his enemy get away when he had him in his power? May the Lord reward you well for the kindness you have shown me today. 20 And now I realize that you are surely going to be king, and that the kingdom of Israel will flourish under your rule. 21 Now swear to me by the Lordthat when that happens you will not kill my family and destroy my line of descendants!”
22 So David promised this to Saul with an oath. Then Saul went home, but David and his men went back to their stronghold.
Love,
Jonathan

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Since we are made in the image of God, we continue to look and act like the King of Kings and Lord of Lords because we simply and honestly Love Our Father.” ~ Jon Barnes

Intern

You are the seed and product of God’s best creation and your soul is worth more than an entire world to God. You are in charge of your own soul, a gift from God, that you must learn to navigate, control, develop, and reconnect with love, honesty, and honor back unto your DaD! This small amount of time, called life, has been specifically given to you out of trillions of possible combinations, unique unto yourself. Each life hits the canvas of God, from his own finger, but drawn with your expression and choice of direction, preparation, that reflects your attitude of thanksgiving and respect. Your part in this picture is priceless and many will never understand this mystery.

Internet

Nothing is ever wasted with God because your existence has meaning, value, purpose and a set destination on the canvas, based on your own studies, commitment, obedience, and relationship with the original Owner, Painter, and Master of all things. You have been invited to personally join the artistic development of the human artwork of mankind, which is recorded and your artistic works of faith will soon be rewarded. Respect the Prime Directive with care and love so that you may honor the Blood of Christ with repentance and true worship in thanksgiving and obedience.

Internship

The color of hell has purpose and value in God’s painting for many who choose that color for themselves because God knew before you knew how evil you will be. In preparation for His human masterpiece, God factored in all possibilities, option, outcomes, and scenarios that would be available to you, like computer codes of zeros and ones, yes or no, Heaven or hell. This path that you are on is your choice because God knew your choice before you made it and will not change your mind. Otherwise, you would have the mind of a dog or some other limited thinking animal.

Deuteronomy 2

Remembering Israel’s Wanderings

“Then we turned around and headed back across the wilderness toward the Red Sea,[a]just as the Lord had instructed me, and we wandered around in the region of Mount Seir for a long time.
“Then at last the Lord said to me, ‘You have been wandering around in this hill country long enough; turn to the north. Give these orders to the people: “You will pass through the country belonging to your relatives the Edomites, the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. The Edomites will feel threatened, so be careful. Do not bother them, for I have given them all the hill country around Mount Seir as their property, and I will not give you even one square foot of their land. If you need food to eat or water to drink, pay them for it. For the Lord your God has blessed you in everything you have done. He has watched your every step through this great wilderness. During these forty years, the Lord your God has been with you, and you have lacked nothing.”’
“So we bypassed the territory of our relatives, the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. We avoided the road through the Arabah Valley that comes up from Elath and Ezion-geber.
“Then as we turned north along the desert route through Moab, the Lord warned us, ‘Do not bother the Moabites, the descendants of Lot, or start a war with them. I have given them Ar as their property, and I will not give you any of their land.’”
10 (A race of giants called the Emites had once lived in the area of Ar. They were as strong and numerous and tall as the Anakites, another race of giants. 11 Both the Emites and the Anakites are also known as the Rephaites, though the Moabites call them Emites. 12 In earlier times the Horites had lived in Seir, but they were driven out and displaced by the descendants of Esau, just as Israel drove out the people of Canaan when the Lord gave Israel their land.)
13 Moses continued, “Then the Lord said to us, ‘Get moving. Cross the Zered Brook.’ So we crossed the brook.
14 “Thirty-eight years passed from the time we first left Kadesh-barnea until we finally crossed the Zered Brook! By then, all the men old enough to fight in battle had died in the wilderness, as the Lord had vowed would happen. 15 The Lord struck them down until they had all been eliminated from the community.
16 “When all the men of fighting age had died, 17 the Lord said to me, 18 ‘Today you will cross the border of Moab at Ar 19 and enter the land of the Ammonites, the descendants of Lot. But do not bother them or start a war with them. I have given the land of Ammon to them as their property, and I will not give you any of their land.’”
20 (That area was once considered the land of the Rephaites, who had lived there, though the Ammonites call them Zamzummites. 21 They were also as strong and numerous and tall as the Anakites. But the Lord destroyed them so the Ammonites could occupy their land. 22 He had done the same for the descendants of Esau who lived in Seir, for he destroyed the Horites so they could settle there in their place. The descendants of Esau live there to this day. 23 A similar thing happened when the Caphtorites from Crete[b] invaded and destroyed the Avvites, who had lived in villages in the area of Gaza.)
24 Moses continued, “Then the Lord said, ‘Now get moving! Cross the Arnon Gorge. Look, I will hand over to you Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and I will give you his land. Attack him and begin to occupy the land. 25 Beginning today I will make people throughout the earth terrified because of you. When they hear reports about you, they will tremble with dread and fear.’”

Victory over Sihon of Heshbon

26 Moses continued, “From the wilderness of Kedemoth I sent ambassadors to King Sihon of Heshbon with this proposal of peace:
27 ‘Let us travel through your land. We will stay on the main road and won’t turn off into the fields on either side. 28 Sell us food to eat and water to drink, and we will pay for it. All we want is permission to pass through your land. 29 The descendants of Esau who live in Seir allowed us to go through their country, and so did the Moabites, who live in Ar. Let us pass through until we cross the Jordan into the land the Lord our God is giving us.’
30 “But King Sihon of Heshbon refused to allow us to pass through, because the Lord your God made Sihon stubborn and defiant so he could help you defeat him, as he has now done.
31 “Then the Lord said to me, ‘Look, I have begun to hand King Sihon and his land over to you. Begin now to conquer and occupy his land.’
32 “Then King Sihon declared war on us and mobilized his forces at Jahaz. 33 But the Lord our God handed him over to us, and we crushed him, his sons, and all his people. 34 We conquered all his towns and completely destroyed[c] everyone—men, women, and children. Not a single person was spared. 35 We took all the livestock as plunder for ourselves, along with anything of value from the towns we ransacked.
36 “The Lord our God also helped us conquer Aroer on the edge of the Arnon Gorge, and the town in the gorge, and the whole area as far as Gilead. No town had walls too strong for us.37 However, we avoided the land of the Ammonites all along the Jabbok River and the towns in the hill country—all the places the Lord our God had commanded us to leave alone.
Love,
Jonathan

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“Try not to let your emotions speed out of control to the point that God has to give you a speeding ticket for the things you quickly say out of your mouth, being quick to talk about the business of others and slow to talk about your own problems solutions.” ~ Jon Barnes

Business Owner

A business owner becomes the cook, waitress, dishwasher, or will work the job of a person who does not show up for work. There is no time to get emotional about jumping in and getting the work done, when someone is sick, absent, or has an emergency. Business owners take care of business and don’t have much time to talk about excuses or other people’s problems. Owners facilitate solutions, schedules, and deliverables in a timely fashion. Follow God’s directions. You will figure it out.

Business Picture

Once a good management system is in place, the business owner must communicate and go by the rules and lifestyle set for a good working environment to complete tasks and keep the team together. The team follows the rules and help out as much as possible, without murmuring and gossiping about work-related issues. Remember, it is God who listens to your thoughts and what you say to others. Be advised and stay out of God’s Holy Court House of Judgement, learn teamwork.

Business Solutions

If you do not fit where you belong, get another job, a different business, or relocate to another place that is safe and will potentially meet your needs. Do not become a negative communicator or a bad apple just because you are unhappy. Why should you get a traffic ticket for your motor mouth from God, as you talk your way into Holy Court to explain your contempt to the Judge, Our Father?  You will pay the fine for running the stop sign, stop light, speeding, or any other verbal traffic situation. A successful business learns to get to work, close your mouth, and click it or talk your way out of your blessings and get an expensive ticket.

Leviticus 1

Procedures for the Burnt Offering

The Lord called to Moses from the Tabernacle[a] and said to him, “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. When you present an animal as an offering to the Lord, you may take it from your herd of cattle or your flock of sheep and goats.
“If the animal you present as a burnt offering is from the herd, it must be a male with no defects. Bring it to the entrance of the Tabernacle so you[b] may be accepted by the Lord. Lay your hand on the animal’s head, and the Lord will accept its death in your place to purify you, making you right with him.[c] Then slaughter the young bull in the Lord’s presence, and Aaron’s sons, the priests, will present the animal’s blood by splattering it against all sides of the altar that stands at the entrance to the Tabernacle. Then skin the animal and cut it into pieces. The sons of Aaron the priest will build a wood fire on the altar. They will arrange the pieces of the offering, including the head and fat, on the wood burning on the altar. But the internal organs and the legs must first be washed with water. Then the priest will burn the entire sacrifice on the altar as a burnt offering. It is a special gift, a pleasing aroma to the Lord.
10 “If the animal you present as a burnt offering is from the flock, it may be either a sheep or a goat, but it must be a male with no defects. 11 Slaughter the animal on the north side of the altar in the Lord’s presence, and Aaron’s sons, the priests, will splatter its blood against all sides of the altar. 12 Then cut the animal in pieces, and the priests will arrange the pieces of the offering, including the head and fat, on the wood burning on the altar. 13 But the internal organs and the legs must first be washed with water. Then the priest will burn the entire sacrifice on the altar as a burnt offering. It is a special gift, a pleasing aroma to the Lord.
14 “If you present a bird as a burnt offering to the Lord, choose either a turtledove or a young pigeon. 15 The priest will take the bird to the altar, wring off its head, and burn it on the altar. But first he must drain its blood against the side of the altar. 16 The priest must also remove the crop and the feathers[d] and throw them in the ashes on the east side of the altar. 17 Then, grasping the bird by its wings, the priest will tear the bird open, but without tearing it apart. Then he will burn it as a burnt offering on the wood burning on the altar. It is a special gift, a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“If a picture paints 1,000 words, than your good works should tell the story of your helping 1,000s of people to visualize how wonderfully God is working in your life, helping others.” ~ Jon Barnes

The exchange

Your future is in the hands of God– bound for heaven or hell– so be sure you understand the exchange rate for life’s currency on the other side of the Pearly Gates. The time you use to build your personal story and walk with God is your payment of faith in action that the Blood of Christ receives and recognizes you as a child of God. The repentance of a Good, Faithful, Servant of the King, rings the bell and sings the sound of triumph as the trumpet sounds, with your name in the Lamb’s Book of Life! The soul of your picture is worth more than 1,000 Worlds to God.

Non-Refundable

Your evil ways and rejection of God’s Truth with your lifestyle and choices are non-negotiable and non-refundable upon death and your soul will pay the price from your purchase agreement you made with the devil or yourself. The wasted time you spend on earth doing nothing is truly your loss and you will pay compounded interest for eternity, because of your disobedience to God’s Commandments.

Non-Negotiable

Your attention, love, faith and work will line up and point to whom you serve and follow from Facebook in this life to God’s Facebook Page in Heaven and Hell. We are all signing up as we speak through our actions, words, and deeds, based on the instructions we read from the bible. Ignorance is a lie and considered as evil, since we all have built within us the pure Truth of God about His Fatherly Creation and Provision. Each breath you take is proof enough that God is Your God and Father of all! Look in the mirror, God looks like you, a Priceless Picture of wonder!

Remember

“The soul of your picture is worth more than 1,000 Worlds to God, so treat all people as such with respect and love.” ~ Jon Barnes

1 Timothy 5

Widows, Elders and Slaves

Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity.
Give proper recognition to those widows who are really in need. But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family and so repaying their parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God. The widow who is really in need and left all alone puts her hope in God and continues night and day to pray and to ask God for help. But the widow who lives for pleasure is dead even while she lives. Give the people these instructions, so that no one may be open to blame. Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
No widow may be put on the list of widows unless she is over sixty, has been faithful to her husband, 10 and is well known for her good deeds, such as bringing up children, showing hospitality, washing the feet of the Lord’s people, helping those in trouble and devoting herself to all kinds of good deeds.
11 As for younger widows, do not put them on such a list. For when their sensual desires overcome their dedication to Christ, they want to marry. 12 Thus they bring judgment on themselves, because they have broken their first pledge. 13 Besides, they get into the habit of being idle and going about from house to house. And not only do they become idlers, but also busybodies who talk nonsense, saying things they ought not to. 14 So I counsel younger widows to marry, to have children, to manage their homes and to give the enemy no opportunity for slander. 15 Some have in fact already turned away to follow Satan.
16 If any woman who is a believer has widows in her care, she should continue to help them and not let the church be burdened with them, so that the church can help those widows who are really in need.
17 The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching. 18 For Scripture says, “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,”[a] and “The worker deserves his wages.”[b] 19 Do not entertain an accusation against an elder unless it is brought by two or three witnesses. 20 But those elders who are sinning you are to reprove before everyone, so that the others may take warning. 21 I charge you, in the sight of God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels, to keep these instructions without partiality, and to do nothing out of favoritism.
22 Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands, and do not share in the sins of others.Keep yourself pure.
23 Stop drinking only water, and use a little wine because of your stomach and your frequent illnesses.
24 The sins of some are obvious, reaching the place of judgment ahead of them; the sins of others trail behind them. 25 In the same way, good deeds are obvious, and even those that are not obvious cannot remain hidden forever.

Love,

Jonathan
