Hail Mary

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“In an effort to derail your walk with Christ, the devil will often try and throw a Hail mary as a last ditch effort. Don’t be deterred by the distraction as it is in fact an indication that you’re on the path of righteousness” ~Taryn Barnes

Interception

Don’t allow the evil one to intercept what God has planned for your life. In times of progress and breakthroughs, there will always be some form of opposition. Keep a watchful eye to see that you don’t get caught in the trap.

Offense

A good offense is a strong defense. Arm yourself with the Word, which will remind you that God is the ultimate quarterback who has already led us to victory. After a while, you’ll begin to identify the devil’s traps and snares and will laugh at how foolish his efforts truly are.

End Zone

We don’t have to wonder if we’ll make it to the end zone. Jesus already ensured that we’d have the touchdown. Whether you get there on the 1st or 4th down, through Christ, we’ve already won the game.

Question of the day

Are you reading God’s winning playbook to block evil’s, Hail Mary?

Miriam and Aaron Oppose Moses

1 Miriam and Aaron began to talk against Moses because of his Cushite wife, for he had married a Cushite. 2 “Has the LORD spoken only through Moses?” they asked. “Hasn’t he also spoken through us?” And the LORD heard this. 3 (Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth.) 4 At once the LORD said to Moses, Aaron and Miriam, “Come out to the tent of meeting, all three of you.” So the three of them went out. 5 Then the LORD came down in a pillar of cloud; he stood at the entrance to the tent and summoned Aaron and Miriam. When the two of them stepped forward, 6 he said, “Listen to my words: “When there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams.7 But this is not true of my servant Moses; he is faithful in all my house. 8 With him I speak face to face, clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the LORD. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?” 9 The anger of the LORD burned against them, and he left them. 10 When the cloud lifted from above the tent, Miriam’s skin was leprous —it became as white as snow. Aaron turned toward her and saw that she had a defiling skin disease, 11 and he said to Moses, “Please, my lord, I ask you not to hold against us the sin we have so foolishly committed. 12 Do not let her be like a stillborn infant coming from its mother’s womb with its flesh half eaten away.” 13 So Moses cried out to the LORD, “Please, God, heal her!” 14 The LORD replied to Moses, “If her father had spit in her face, would she not have been in disgrace for seven days? Confine her outside the camp for seven days; after that she can be brought back.” 15So Miriam was confined outside the camp for seven days, and the people did not move on till she was brought back. 16 After that, the people left Hazeroth and encamped in the Desert of Paran.

“A” Game

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“When you bring your A Game by finishing the race, crossing the finish line, and following God’s commandments, you will notice the narrow path that was taken to get you to Heaven Victoriously.”
~ Jon Barnes

The Coach

God’s plans are not our plans, so we must use the playbook to understand how to win the Game of Life.  God, The Coach, invented The Game of Life and Love, so that we could have the opportunity to play with our “A” Game to be fruitful and multiply with God’s lifestyle.  The misuse of technology can make us lazy to the point where we do not develop our physical, mental, and spiritual “A” Game for God’s purpose.  The Coach must then bump us back on course to win the game with supernatural strategies from His PlayBook.

The Couch

We cannot exercise our faith to do God’s work by sitting on the couch, chair, or bed all day, eating,
drinking, partying, watching TV, playing computer games, while pretending to be a part of God’s movements and actions.  It is easy to lose touch with God’s reality for your life with the abundance of fake reality all around us each day, pulling our attention into wasted time, energy, and space.  The Couch Potato MindSet creeps in and begins to shut down your vital organs, when they are not being properly used each day.

The Cure

Get off your lazy butt and keep moving with your “A” Game so that your lifestyle interacts with the Game Plan God has for your life.  The devil wants to connect you to his computer, TV, cell phone, food, drinks and lazy, lustful thinking to control your mind, actions, and desires, becoming addicted to his forms of crack and over indulgence. God gives us the cure of balance, diet, common sense, and playbook activities from His bible, which keeps ourselves fit spiritually and physically to help, love, share, grow, and teach others why God’s Plans are so important in our lives.

Today’s Question

Will you let the devil steal your “A” Game, before you get to the finish line?

Colossians 2

I want you to know how hard I am contending for you and for those at Laodicea, and for all who have not met me personally. My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments. For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how disciplined you are and how firm your faith in Christ is.

Spiritual Fullness in Christ

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces[a] of this world rather than on Christ.
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10 and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority. 11 In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh[b] was put off when you were circumcised by[c] Christ, 12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.
13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you[d] alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, 14 having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. 15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.[e]

Freedom From Human Rules

16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. 18 Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. 19 They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow.
20 Since you died with Christ to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules: 21 “Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!”? 22 These rules, which have to do with things that are all destined to perish with use, are based on merely human commands and teachings. 23 Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.
Love,
Jonathan

The Good Game

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Why follow someone else’s game plan when God will teach and give you the Good Game, Good Rules, Best Benefits, and Eternal Elevation into Heaven.”  ~ Jon Barnes

Play The Game

Many are called but few are chosen to play the game for God.  His team is amazing and God doesn’t need a big army.  God selects the most humble, honest, and hard working people to do the best job for His services to execute The Play Book.  God will even have mercy on an honest loser, who repents and looks to God with a clean heart, dying to do better.  God always makes the right choice and knows the outcome of each play, before the Game is Played.

God’s Good Rules

The 10 Commandments are a great reference guide to focus, memorize, and live by, so that you minimize any foul plays, off sides, flagrant fouls, penalties, or ejections from the Great Game.  Each Biblical story comes equipped with wonderful, relevant, lessons and meanings, each time you re-read them. God allows and activates the Golden Rules in His Word to His Children you love and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.  If you are a devil, nothing is activated, while God still shines on the just and the unjust.

Know Your Playbook

Don’t get this confused and know your Playbook.  If you are a habitual sinner and your heart is evil, you will be ejected from the Heavenly Games and placed into the fiery Pit forever. God is no fool and the Bible will warn you, if you read it.  Don’t take my word for it.  Read Your Playbook and know and practice your Game moves and positions so that you may be considered worthy.  Fake Christians will be punished more severely because the bought and know the playbook, but they ignore the writings and their actions are not by the book.  Real Christians buy The Book and live by The Book, which is The Bible.  Then you can have more fun playing other Good Games given and granted by God!
