Least

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Less is more in the hands of the least, discarded, and thrown away societies around the world, but God has a balanced compensation plan for eternity with those who love Him.” ~ Jon Barnes

Poverty

People in poverty who know and walk with God are the most content people in the world because they know that their pain and suffering for doing good is only for a brief moment.  Materialism, capitalism, persecution, or hunger will not stop them from loving God. God’s Affirmative Action plan for the poor will shock the rich and sinners on judgment day, as it did with the rich man in hell, wanting to tell his brothers to act right. Notice that he didn’t get a second chance.

Discovery

The poor will use imagination, grit, and discovery to fuel progress to freedom and liberty in God because the love of money is not the center of their attention and greed.  Working for food and survival is the opposite of working for excess and self-indulgence.  Discovering the difference between the two is a good start.

Pains

God gives relief to the hunger pains of the poor supernaturally by feeding them spiritual food, contentment, and the fear of the Lord.  This love and fear is a reverence that balances the scales of eternal fate and is a reference point for those that are in contempt with greed, evil, and selfish mindset, who will discard human life like trash.  The pains of the righteous are temporal but the pains of the unjust are forever.

Gifts for Building the Temple

29 Then King David turned to the entire assembly and said, “My son Solomon, whom God has clearly chosen as the next king of Israel, is still young and inexperienced. The work ahead of him is enormous, for the Temple he will build is not for mere mortals—it is for the Lord God himself! Using every resource at my command, I have gathered as much as I could for building the Temple of my God. Now there is enough gold, silver, bronze, iron, and wood, as well as great quantities of onyx, other precious stones, costly jewels, and all kinds of fine stone and marble.
“And now, because of my devotion to the Temple of my God, I am giving all of my own private treasures of gold and silver to help in the construction. This is in addition to the building materials I have already collected for his holy Temple. I am donating more than 112 tons of gold[a] from Ophir and 262 tons of refined silver[b] to be used for overlaying the walls of the buildings and for the other gold and silver work to be done by the craftsmen. Now then, who will follow my example and give offerings to the Lord today?”
Then the family leaders, the leaders of the tribes of Israel, the generals and captains of the army,[c] and the king’s administrative officers all gave willingly. For the construction of the Temple of God, they gave about 188 tons of gold,[d] 10,000 gold coins,[e] 375 tons of silver,[f]675 tons of bronze,[g] and 3,750 tons of iron.[h] They also contributed numerous precious stones, which were deposited in the treasury of the house of the Lord under the care of Jehiel, a descendant of Gershon. The people rejoiced over the offerings, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly to the Lord, and King David was filled with joy.

David’s Prayer of Praise

10 Then David praised the Lord in the presence of the whole assembly:
“O Lord, the God of our ancestor Israel,[i] may you be praised forever and ever! 11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things. 12 Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength.
13 “O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name! 14 But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us! 15 We are here for only a moment, visitors and strangers in the land as our ancestors were before us. Our days on earth are like a passing shadow, gone so soon without a trace.
16 “O Lord our God, even this material we have gathered to build a Temple to honor your holy name comes from you! It all belongs to you! 17 I know, my God, that you examine our hearts and rejoice when you find integrity there. You know I have done all this with good motives, and I have watched your people offer their gifts willingly and joyously.
18 “O Lord, the God of our ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, make your people always want to obey you. See to it that their love for you never changes. 19 Give my son Solomon the wholehearted desire to obey all your commands, laws, and decrees, and to do everything necessary to build this Temple, for which I have made these preparations.”
20 Then David said to the whole assembly, “Give praise to the Lord your God!” And the entire assembly praised the Lord, the God of their ancestors, and they bowed low and knelt before the Lord and the king.

Solomon Named as King

21 The next day they brought 1,000 bulls, 1,000 rams, and 1,000 male lambs as burnt offerings to the Lord. They also brought liquid offerings and many other sacrifices on behalf of all Israel. 22 They feasted and drank in the Lord’s presence with great joy that day.
And again they crowned David’s son Solomon as their new king. They anointed him before the Lord as their leader, and they anointed Zadok as priest. 23 So Solomon took the throne of the Lord in place of his father, David, and he succeeded in everything, and all Israel obeyed him. 24 All the officials, the warriors, and the sons of King David pledged their loyalty to King Solomon. 25 And the Lord exalted Solomon in the sight of all Israel, and he gave Solomon greater royal splendor than any king in Israel before him.

Summary of David’s Reign

26 So David son of Jesse reigned over all Israel. 27 He reigned over Israel for forty years, seven of them in Hebron and thirty-three in Jerusalem. 28 He died at a ripe old age, having enjoyed long life, wealth, and honor. Then his son Solomon ruled in his place.
29 All the events of King David’s reign, from beginning to end, are written in The Record of Samuel the Seer, The Record of Nathan the Prophet, and The Record of Gad the Seer.30 These accounts include the mighty deeds of his reign and everything that happened to him and to Israel and to all the surrounding kingdoms.

Talk To Him

book-897834_1920
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Talk to God better than you talk with yourself and notice how more honest you become with your own ideas, accuracy, accountability, faith, and belief, which will positively affirm and affect your actions with other people in your life.” ~ Jon Barnes

Affirmation

Each person has their own Affirmative Action Plan in place, which is at the core of their values, choices, faith, and love. Each day we affirm our thoughts, plans, goals, and agendas onto another person, without regard to the well being of others. Our laws, schools, business, society, housing, faith, and work practices do not match the true intentions of what God has designed and purpose for us to achieve.

Buttons

The buttons are products of evil thinking can be seen among the ruins of world poverty, genocide, slavery, human trafficking, sex trade, gaming, lying, cheating as is a direct result of institutionalized lifestyles full of laziness and contempt. We all play the game of how to find the button under the three cards, as the dealer shuffles to ask and onlooker to choose the correct card with the button located underneath. The hands of a thief are quicker than the eyes of an honest person so that you must use all of your senses to catch and correct the wicked buttons.

Distractions

I think we should be more concerned about pushing God’s buttons that any other potential problems and distractions humans can face. We all should affirm our actions to perceive that God knows and will judge us for all of the evil buttons we select and push in lifetime. Perhaps we should push the Fruit of the Spirit from God to promote His Affirmative Action Plans of Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control to rule and regulate our lives around the world.  Don’t let the love of money, fame, power, and lust, pride, and greed distort and distract God’s Affirmation of practicing Love in your life, culture, or community. Why waste your talent and faith in God with distractions?

Deuteronomy 26

Harvest Offerings and Tithes

26 “When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you as a special possession and you have conquered it and settled there, put some of the first produce from each crop you harvest into a basket and bring it to the designated place of worship—the place the Lord your God chooses for his name to be honored. Go to the priest in charge at that time and say to him, ‘With this gift I acknowledge to the Lord your God that I have entered the land he swore to our ancestors he would give us.’ The priest will then take the basket from your hand and set it before the altar of the Lord your God.
“You must then say in the presence of the Lord your God, ‘My ancestor Jacob was a wandering Aramean who went to live as a foreigner in Egypt. His family arrived few in number, but in Egypt they became a large and mighty nation. When the Egyptians oppressed and humiliated us by making us their slaves, we cried out to the Lord, the God of our ancestors. He heard our cries and saw our hardship, toil, and oppression. So the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a strong hand and powerful arm, with overwhelming terror, and with miraculous signs and wonders. He brought us to this place and gave us this land flowing with milk and honey! 10 And now, O Lord, I have brought you the first portion of the harvest you have given me from the ground.’ Then place the produce before the Lord your God, and bow to the ground in worship before him. 11 Afterward you may go and celebrate because of all the good things the Lord your God has given to you and your household. Remember to include the Levites and the foreigners living among you in the celebration.
12 “Every third year you must offer a special tithe of your crops. In this year of the special tithe you must give your tithes to the Levites, foreigners, orphans, and widows, so that they will have enough to eat in your towns. 13 Then you must declare in the presence of the Lord your God, ‘I have taken the sacred gift from my house and have given it to the Levites, foreigners, orphans, and widows, just as you commanded me. I have not violated or forgotten any of your commands. 14 I have not eaten any of it while in mourning; I have not handled it while I was ceremonially unclean; and I have not offered any of it to the dead. I have obeyed the Lord my God and have done everything you commanded me. 15 Now look down from your holy dwelling place in heaven and bless your people Israel and the land you swore to our ancestors to give us—a land flowing with milk and honey.’

A Call to Obey the Lord’s Commands

16 “Today the Lord your God has commanded you to obey all these decrees and regulations. So be careful to obey them wholeheartedly. 17 You have declared today that the Lord is your God. And you have promised to walk in his ways, and to obey his decrees, commands, and regulations, and to do everything he tells you. 18 The Lord has declared today that you are his people, his own special treasure, just as he promised, and that you must obey all his commands. 19 And if you do, he will set you high above all the other nations he has made. Then you will receive praise, honor, and renown. You will be a nation that is holy to the Lord your God, just as he promised.”

Money Love

time-is-money-1339781_1920
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Our hearts wax cold all around the globe, when the love of money replaces the Love of God in our lifestyles, which unfold and the ways of mankind become like the few rich people, who jet past the enslaved poor on a daily basis and do nothing.”
 ~ Jon Barnes

The Present

Money was invented by man to be used to exchange goods for services, yet money lovers use it too con, deceit, lie, cheat, buy and steal the lives of innocent victims unaware of evil intentions. The exchange looks like a blessing or birthday present at first and then it reveals the present curse and course of destruction, war, poverty, divisions of people, prostitution, gambling, child neglect, separation on family, waste, world hunger, pollution, genocide, working class slavery and the likes.

The Past

In the past, people with childlike hearts, sharing land, water, air space, food, shelter, knowledge, technology, and God’s Love were victimized and taken advantage of and made confused by the evil shell game, bait and switch tactics on every level of our society around the world. Wine, song, dance, women, drugs, and food were also used to cloud and blur good judgement to forge crooked deals and treaties into broken dreams and promises

The Pass

People who obey God have learned to fight the Good Fight of Love and run the race of slow compassion, grace, and mercy, which takes the time to mature, nurturing the poor with a Pass of Repentance into the Kingdom of God. God has no need to fight Himself and nothing can fight with God! We pass right by God everyday in all things, yet we do not know Him, because our evil hearts blocks our minds, eyes, ears, and sense; making us unaware and unable to see, touch, feel, or know our Creator God. Like a bird who places itself in a cage, we are?

Today’s Question

Did you walk past your Pass to pass up your loving relationship with the love of your life in Heaven to be thrown in the dungeon of hell for eternity, because you have been tricked into loving money, greed, and the illusion of power?

2 Timothy 3

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.

A Final Charge to Timothy

10 You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, 11 persecutions, sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. 12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13 while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it,15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Love,

Jonathan
