Old

vintage-1872682_1920.jpgHi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Look at all old relationships and improve upon what you have learned from those experiences and stop making the same mistakes and assumptions so that you can move forward in love.”  ~ Jon Barnes

Right

You are not always right so you must leave room for error, mistakes, and unforeseen situations in advance.  This will allow you time, energy, prayer, space, and grace to maneuver around the manure that will be in your path.  Spiritual Insight is seeing the poop before you step and smell it on your feet.  Wisdom is repenting and washing your feet immediately after stepping into it.

Wrong

When you notice the patterns of how things can go wrong, you will begin to develop plans and concepts that will prevent potential problems in the future for you and your family.  Your enemies will enjoy your success as well.  Simply avoiding bad choices, behaviors, ideas, and people will give you time, opportunity, and space to fix new problems that may arise.

Odds

Stack the deck and put the odds in your favor by listening, reading, and obeying the commandments of God, so that He can work miracles out on your behalf in ways you cannot see or comprehend.  Your humility shall be an old friend, simplicity will kill your pride, honesty in repentance will preserve your destiny in Christ.
Today’s Question
Do you notice how honest people are blessed and favored by God because of their obedience?

31 The citizens of West Elam[c] 1,254
32 The citizens of Harim 320
33 The citizens of Lod, Hadid, and Ono 725
34 The citizens of Jericho 345
35 The citizens of Senaah 3,630
36 These are the priests who returned from exile:
The family of Jedaiah (through the line of Jeshua) 973
37 The family of Immer 1,052
38 The family of Pashhur 1,247
39 The family of Harim 1,017
40 These are the Levites who returned from exile:
The families of Jeshua and Kadmiel (descendants of Hodaviah) 74
41 The singers of the family of Asaph 128
42 The gatekeepers of the families of Shallum, Ater, Talmon, Akkub, Hatita, and Shobai 139
43 The descendants of the following Temple servants returned from exile:
Ziha, Hasupha, Tabbaoth,
44 Keros, Siaha, Padon,
45 Lebanah, Hagabah, Akkub,
46 Hagab, Shalmai,[d] Hanan,
47 Giddel, Gahar, Reaiah,
48 Rezin, Nekoda, Gazzam,
49 Uzza, Paseah, Besai,
50 Asnah, Meunim, Nephusim,
51 Bakbuk, Hakupha, Harhur,
52 Bazluth, Mehida, Harsha,
53 Barkos, Sisera, Temah,
54 Neziah, and Hatipha.
55 The descendants of these servants of King Solomon returned from exile:
Sotai, Hassophereth, Peruda,
56 Jaalah, Darkon, Giddel,
57 Shephatiah, Hattil, Pokereth-hazzebaim, and Ami.
58 In all, the Temple servants and the descendants of Solomon’s servants numbered 392.
59 Another group returned at this time from the towns of Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Kerub, Addan, and Immer. However, they could not prove that they or their families were descendants of Israel. 60 This group included the families of Delaiah, Tobiah, and Nekoda—a total of 652 people.
61 Three families of priests—Hobaiah, Hakkoz, and Barzillai—also returned. (This Barzillai had married a woman who was a descendant of Barzillai of Gilead, and he had taken her family name.) 62 They searched for their names in the genealogical records, but they were not found, so they were disqualified from serving as priests. 63 The governor told them not to eat the priests’ share of food from the sacrifices until a priest could consult the Lord about the matter by using the Urim and Thummim—the sacred lots.
64 So a total of 42,360 people returned to Judah, 65 in addition to 7,337 servants and 200 singers, both men and women. 66 They took with them 736 horses, 245 mules, 67 435 camels, and 6,720 donkeys.
68 When they arrived at the Temple of the Lord in Jerusalem, some of the family leaders made voluntary offerings toward the rebuilding of God’s Temple on its original site, 69 and each leader gave as much as he could. The total of their gifts came to 61,000 gold coins,[e] 6,250 pounds[f] of silver, and 100 robes for the priests.
70 So the priests, the Levites, the singers, the gatekeepers, the Temple servants, and some of the common people settled in villages near Jerusalem. The rest of the people returned to their own towns throughout Israel.
Love,
Jonathan

Look Up

eclipse-2670215_1920
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“When you look up at the stars at night and it’s infinite moving components, you can see the imaginations of God Mind twinkling for eternity, just as God can see you and your imaginations as well before you were born.” ~ Jon Barnes

Look In

Look deep inside your soul and ask God, why are you here, and what are you supposed to do with your time and space on this earth? Identify with the good of your existence and complete your path and journey with God’s blessings. Create, grow, and improve who you are, what you are doing, and let God oversee your family, business, and operations. Keep it simple and get it done.

Look Out

Look out for the simplistic beauty in all that you do and allow the good works in you to travel out, like the stars in the heavens. Many people will admire what you do from a great distance and you will touch the lives of many, by following the goodness of God in your life’s journey. Let the goodness of your heart, lead and guide your life, for the time you have been given. Stop talking about work and get to work.

Look Around

It is an honor that people see, enjoy, and want your services, products, and ideas of love, joy, peace, help, and thanksgiving to spread to friends, family, and neighbors all around the world. Make yourself available to give, help, and show how love really works, from God’s perspective and examples. Spot complaining and start maintaining your excellence.
Today’s Question
Did you step outside, look up and step outside of your self to see God’s beautiful Mind at work?

Leviticus 18

Forbidden Sexual Practices

18 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. I am the Lord your God. So do not act like the people in Egypt, where you used to live, or like the people of Canaan, where I am taking you. You must not imitate their way of life. You must obey all my regulations and be careful to obey my decrees, for I am the Lord your God. If you obey my decrees and my regulations, you will find life through them. I am the Lord.
“You must never have sexual relations with a close relative, for I am the Lord.
“Do not violate your father by having sexual relations with your mother. She is your mother; you must not have sexual relations with her.
“Do not have sexual relations with any of your father’s wives, for this would violate your father.
“Do not have sexual relations with your sister or half sister, whether she is your father’s daughter or your mother’s daughter, whether she was born into your household or someone else’s.
10 “Do not have sexual relations with your granddaughter, whether she is your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter, for this would violate yourself.
11 “Do not have sexual relations with your stepsister, the daughter of any of your father’s wives, for she is your sister.
12 “Do not have sexual relations with your father’s sister, for she is your father’s close relative.
13 “Do not have sexual relations with your mother’s sister, for she is your mother’s close relative.
14 “Do not violate your uncle, your father’s brother, by having sexual relations with his wife, for she is your aunt.
15 “Do not have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law; she is your son’s wife, so you must not have sexual relations with her.
16 “Do not have sexual relations with your brother’s wife, for this would violate your brother.
17 “Do not have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter. And do not take[a] her granddaughter, whether her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter, and have sexual relations with her. They are close relatives, and this would be a wicked act.
18 “While your wife is living, do not marry her sister and have sexual relations with her, for they would be rivals.
19 “Do not have sexual relations with a woman during her period of menstrual impurity.
20 “Do not defile yourself by having sexual intercourse with your neighbor’s wife.
21 “Do not permit any of your children to be offered as a sacrifice to Molech, for you must not bring shame on the name of your God. I am the Lord.
22 “Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin.
23 “A man must not defile himself by having sex with an animal. And a woman must not offer herself to a male animal to have intercourse with it. This is a perverse act.
24 “Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, for the people I am driving out before you have defiled themselves in all these ways. 25 Because the entire land has become defiled, I am punishing the people who live there. I will cause the land to vomit them out. 26 You must obey all my decrees and regulations. You must not commit any of these detestable sins. This applies both to native-born Israelites and to the foreigners living among you.
27 “All these detestable activities are practiced by the people of the land where I am taking you, and this is how the land has become defiled. 28 So do not defile the land and give it a reason to vomit you out, as it will vomit out the people who live there now. 29 Whoever commits any of these detestable sins will be cut off from the community of Israel. 30 So obey my instructions, and do not defile yourselves by committing any of these detestable practices that were committed by the people who lived in the land before you. I am the Lord your God.”
Love,
Jonathan
