Dose

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“It’s better to receive an uncomfortable dose of truth from a friend than to idly walk down the path of destruction as a peer cheers you on.”

TB

Fake

People of this world struggle to define and maintain a relationship with Christ because they’d rather be hypnotized by the songs of the opposition. They excitedly play the destructive tunes of sin because the sound is pleasing to the ear. Those same people find offense to wise council.

Taste

The truth begins when we accept the nutrients that Christ provides. At the start, it’s not as outwardly attractive as the sin-fallen world, but its benefits are everlasting. When wise council provides you with a wholesome dose of truth, be grateful that they loved you enough to share their wisdom with you.

Today’s Question

What’s better a brother who corrects your misdeeds or a brother that encourages your bad behavior?

Ezekiel 45

1 “When you divide the land among the tribes of Israel, you must set aside a section for the LORD as his holy portion. This piece of land will be 8 miles long and 6 miles wide. The entire area will be holy. 2 A section of this land, measuring 875 feet by 875 feet, will be set aside for the Temple. An additional strip of land 87 feet wide is to be left empty all around it. 3 Within the larger sacred area, measure out a portion of land 8 miles long and 3 miles wide. Within it the sanctuary of the Most Holy Place will be located. 4 This area will be holy, set aside for the priests who minister to the LORD in the sanctuary. They will use it for their homes, and my Temple will be located within it. 5 The strip of sacred land next to it, also 8 miles long and 3 miles wide, will be a living area for the Levites who work at the Temple. It will be their possession and a place for their towns. 6 “Adjacent to the larger sacred area will be a section of land 8 miles long and 1 miles wide. This will be set aside for a city where anyone in Israel can live. 7 “Two special sections of land will be set apart for the prince. One section will share a border with the east side of the sacred lands and city, and the second section will share a border on the west side. Then the far eastern and western borders of the prince’s lands will line up with the eastern and western boundaries of the tribal areas. 8 These sections of land will be the prince’s allotment. Then my princes will no longer oppress and rob my people; they will assign the rest of the land to the people, giving an allotment to each tribe. 9 “For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Enough, you princes of Israel! Stop your violence and oppression and do what is just and right. Quit robbing and cheating my people out of their land. Stop expelling them from their homes, says the Sovereign LORD . 10 Use only honest weights and scales and honest measures, both dry and liquid. 11 The homer will be your standard unit for measuring volume. The ephah and the bath will each measure one-tenth of a homer. 12 The standard unit for weight will be the silver shekel. One shekel will consist of twenty gerahs, and sixty shekels will be equal to one mina. 13 “You must give this tax to the prince: one bushel of wheat or barley for every 60 you harvest, 14 one percent of your olive oil, 15 and one sheep or goat for every 200 in your flocks in Israel. These will be the grain offerings, burnt offerings, and peace offerings that will make atonement for the people who bring them, says the Sovereign LORD . 16 All the people of Israel must join in bringing these offerings to the prince. 17 The prince will be required to provide offerings that are given at the religious festivals, the new moon celebrations, the Sabbath days, and all other similar occasions. He will provide the sin offerings, burnt offerings, grain offerings, liquid offerings, and peace offerings to purify the people of Israel, making them right with the LORD . 18 “This is what the Sovereign LORD says: In early spring, on the first day of each new year, sacrifice a young bull with no defects to purify the Temple. 19 The priest will take blood from this sin offering and put it on the doorposts of the Temple, the four corners of the upper ledge of the altar, and the gateposts at the entrance to the inner courtyard. 20 Do this also on the seventh day of the new year for anyone who has sinned through error or ignorance. In this way, you will purify the Temple. 21 “On the fourteenth day of the first month, you must celebrate the Passover. This festival will last for seven days. The bread you eat during that time must be made without yeast. 22 On the day of Passover the prince will provide a young bull as a sin offering for himself and the people of Israel. 23 On each of the seven days of the feast he will prepare a burnt offering to the LORD, consisting of seven young bulls and seven rams without defects. A male goat will also be given each day for a sin offering. 24 The prince will provide a basket of flour as a grain offering and a gallon of olive oil with each young bull and ram. 25 “During the seven days of the Festival of Shelters, which occurs every year in early autumn, the prince will provide these same sacrifices for the sin offering, the burnt offering, and the grain offering, along with the required olive oil.

Communicates

people-3163556_1920.jpgHi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“God designed music, sound, and vibrations to move, accompany, and push the voice of thought, communication, and love, so that  your actions fit the vibe of your intentions, without misinterpretation or deception.” ~ Jon Barnes

Creates

You were created to imagine and do what God has designed for you to do and He knows exactly what that looks like.  Before you were born, your fate was sealed in God’s mind and now you are creating that vision.  When you connect to God’s vision, you can see yourself and what you must do with His Communication, Commandments, and Conditions.

Calculates

God’s Calculations are infinitely far greater and above our primitive thoughts, patterns, comparisons, and wisdom and our imaginations are designed to perceive this fact. Our hearts can calculate the love of God when we connect to His Spirit to understand what the flesh of man cannot.

Contentment

As a result, we become content with the beauty and wonder of God, His Spirit, and Directives by choosing His Will over our own free will. This Great Gain of Glorious Love and Passion can only come from the Cross with The Blood of Christ, with Jesus as our Savior and Lord.  God has effectively communicated that His Plan is The Only Plan!
Today’s Question
When you go outside after the sun rises, do you notice that God’s creations, plans, people, things, and character respect and follow God’s Communication or are you following your own evil thoughts to hell?

Job 12

Job’s Fourth Speech: A Response to Zophar

12 Then Job spoke again:
“You people really know everything, don’t you?
And when you die, wisdom will die with you!
Well, I know a few things myself—
and you’re no better than I am.
Who doesn’t know these things you’ve been saying?
Yet my friends laugh at me,
for I call on God and expect an answer.
I am a just and blameless man,
    yet they laugh at me.
People who are at ease mock those in trouble.
They give a push to people who are stumbling.
But robbers are left in peace,
and those who provoke God live in safety—
though God keeps them in his power.[a]
“Just ask the animals, and they will teach you.
Ask the birds of the sky, and they will tell you.
Speak to the earth, and it will instruct you.
Let the fish in the sea speak to you.
For they all know
that my disaster[b] has come from the hand of the Lord.
10 For the life of every living thing is in his hand,
and the breath of every human being.
11 The ear tests the words it hears
just as the mouth distinguishes between foods.
12 Wisdom belongs to the aged,
    and understanding to the old.
13 “But true wisdom and power are found in God;
    counsel and understanding are his.
14 What he destroys cannot be rebuilt.
When he puts someone in prison, there is no escape.
15 If he holds back the rain, the earth becomes a desert.
If he releases the waters, they flood the earth.
16 Yes, strength and wisdom are his;
deceivers and deceived are both in his power.
17 He leads counselors away, stripped of good judgment;
    wise judges become fools.
18 He removes the royal robe of kings.
They are led away with ropes around their waist.
19 He leads priests away, stripped of status;
he overthrows those with long years in power.
20 He silences the trusted adviser
and removes the insight of the elders.
21 He pours disgrace upon princes
    and disarms the strong.
22 “He uncovers mysteries hidden in darkness;
he brings light to the deepest gloom.
23 He builds up nations, and he destroys them.
He expands nations, and he abandons them.
24 He strips kings of understanding
and leaves them wandering in a pathless wasteland.
25 They grope in the darkness without a light.
He makes them stagger like drunkards.

Love,

Jonathan

Sound Systems

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Check your power source, power button, mute button, volume button, plugs, and cables of your personal sound system, between your ears, so that you can hear what God is trying to say to you.” ~ Jon Barnes

Systems Check

There are many things that can go wrong and prevent you from hearing the Truth and responding to Good Information, allowing you to have a great sounding system.  Your Mouth is the sound system and your brain controls the quality of sound you produce. Let God be your Sound Man for your work, gigs, events, and parties so that your sound is balanced, perfect, and natural. Let God select your team to run your sound.

Sound Check

Soundcheck is extremely important since God can check your volume levels, EQ, Highs, Mids, Lows, effects, reverb, and other digital content needed for the show. You must show up for the soundcheck to practice sounding your best, as God makes the necessary adjustments to your mix. His team of helpers will communicate vital information to you and your band of responsible people.

Monitor Mix

It is hard to sing and play if you cannot hear yourself in the monitor mix. Your band sounds great, but you can’t respond properly and perform your best if the monitor and house mix is off-balanced. It is vital to have constant communication with God, The Master Engineer of Your Sound System so that He can assist you with what you need, making the proper adjustments to your team and band. 1 Timothy 3

Qualifications for Overseers and Deacons

Here is a trustworthy saying: Whoever aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task. Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full[a] respect. (If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?) He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil. He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil’s trap.
In the same way, deacons[b] are to be worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain. They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience. 10 They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons.
11 In the same way, the women[c] are to be worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything.
12 A deacon must be faithful to his wife and must manage his children and his household well. 13 Those who have served well gain an excellent standing and great assurance in their faith in Christ Jesus.

Reasons for Paul’s Instructions

14 Although I hope to come to you soon, I am writing you these instructions so that,15 if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.16 Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great:
He appeared in the flesh,
    was vindicated by the Spirit,[d]
was seen by angels,
    was preached among the nations,
was believed on in the world,
    was taken up in glory.

Love,

Jonathan

The Good Trumpet

record-336626_1920
Hi Peeps,
Quote of the day
” You can never reproduce the same note twice in perfect length, width, height, depth, vibration, and pitch and  when you listen carefully, you will hear how special you are to God!  ~  Jon Barnes

Be The Instrument

Be the instrument you are and play your own music in life.  Create and use all the notes you can. God gave you a score to write upon to make peace, harmony, and good tidings.  Why should you sound and act like someone else? Stop copying the devil and his music.  When you care about your notes in life, your beautiful music comes alive with love and volumes of vitality. Choose to copy and create new music for God.

Develop Your Sound

Sound like your instrument!  What good is a trumpet when it sounds like a flute and how would you tell the difference.  Each sound and instrument has a part, texture, timbre, tone, warmth, shrill, deepness, mystery, and story to tell within God’s arrangement of creations.  The combinations, meanings, and beauty are as infinite as time itself, yet within the parameters established by God’s Good Grace and Wisdom.

Do Your Work

God Plays a Good Trumpet and He taught Gabriel.  Ax God or Ask God to chose your fate; be hot or be cold, Behold, Be Bold.  Are you working for God or are you working for yourself?  You can’t have it both ways.  One chooses one destination and eternal outcome based on the music they create in their lifestyle. You must first learn and understand what lifestyle God wants you to create and live by.
As you read, study, and talk to God about your dreams, He will lead and guide you to your truth and justice in your affairs.  Do your work for God, which is really cool.  Thank God I sound like Myself and Bless God for my own voice and likeness, which comes from Him!  People who don’t chose a side is working for the wrong side, which is evil, wearing sheep’s clothing.  Don’t be confused.
Today’s Question
Where is your AXE; your instrument?
God Plays a Good Trumpet and He taught Gabriel.
Ax God or Ask God to chose your fate; be hot or be cold, Behold, Be Bold.
Hint:  God is not WEAK!

Luke 13New International Version (NIV)

Repent or Perish

13 Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”
Then he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it but did not find any. So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, ‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’
“‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone for one more year, and I’ll dig around it and fertilize it. If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’”

Jesus Heals a Crippled Woman on the Sabbath

10 On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues, 11 and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. 12 When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” 13 Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.
14 Indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, the synagogue leader said to the people, “There are six days for work. So come and be healed on those days, not on the Sabbath.”
15 The Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Doesn’t each of you on the Sabbath untie your ox or donkey from the stall and lead it out to give it water? 16 Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?”
17 When he said this, all his opponents were humiliated, but the people were delighted with all the wonderful things he was doing.

The Parables of the Mustard Seed and the Yeast

18 Then Jesus asked, “What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to?19 It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds perched in its branches.”
20 Again he asked, “What shall I compare the kingdom of God to? 21 It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds[a] of flour until it worked all through the dough.”

The Narrow Door

22 Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. 23 Someone asked him, “Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?”
He said to them, 24 “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. 25 Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, ‘Sir, open the door for us.’
“But he will answer, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’
26 “Then you will say, ‘We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’
27 “But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!’
28 “There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out.29 People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God. 30 Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last.”

Jesus’ Sorrow for Jerusalem

31 At that time some Pharisees came to Jesus and said to him, “Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill you.”
32 He replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’ 33 In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem!
34 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 35 Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’[b]
