Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“Don’t be alarmed when rocky moments occur in your walk with Christ. It’s not the opposition’s job to make it comfortable.”~TB

Occupational Hazard

God’s workers are in the direct line of fire, standing against the plans of the opposition. For that reason, expect to receive different types of attacks. The devil is no dummy as he focuses his energy on trying to disrupt those who are doing the Lord’s work. His attacks are strategic in that he will hit you in your weakest area. By the sheer nature of your holy employment, expect distractions, disruptions, and derailment. Even though you may experience this level of spiritual warfare, do not forget who to go to when you are weary and could use some assistance.

Holy Insurance

If the ‘on the job’ injuries become more than you can handle, tap into your holy insurance policy which you can find in the Word. Biblical reading shows you the various battles that God’s faithful people endured. It also shows you how to stand firm and fight these battles. Friends, we are in precarious times and the battlefield is in the mind. We are no longer fighting with bloodshed, but with mindset. Use God’s word and His resources to help reinforce your mindset. When you know that the devil is fighting a losing battle it’s easier to see the playing field for what it truly is.

Today’s Question

Are you using your holy insurance to combat the evil one’s attacks?

Proverbs 17

1 Better a dry crust eaten in peace than a house filled with feasting—and conflict.
2 A wise servant will rule over the master’s disgraceful son and will share the inheritance of the master’s children.
3 Fire tests the purity of silver and gold, but the LORD tests the heart.
4 Wrongdoers eagerly listen to gossip; liars pay close attention to slander.
5Those who mock the poor insult their Maker; those who rejoice at the misfortune of others will be punished.
6Grandchildren are the crowning glory of the aged; parents are the pride of their children.
7 Eloquent words are not fitting for a fool; even less are lies fitting for a ruler.
8 A bribe is like a lucky charm; whoever gives one will prosper!
9 Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.
10 A single rebuke does more for a person of understanding than a hundred lashes on the back of a fool.
11 Evil people are eager for rebellion, but they will be severely punished.
12 It is safer to meet a bear robbed of her cubs than to confront a fool caught in foolishness.
13 If you repay good with evil, evil will never leave your house.
14 Starting a quarrel is like opening a floodgate, so stop before a dispute breaks out.
15Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent— both are detestable to the LORD .
16 It is senseless to pay to educate a fool, since he has no heart for learning.
17 A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.
18 It’s poor judgment to guarantee another person’s debt or put up security for a friend.
19 Anyone who loves to quarrel loves sin; anyone who trusts in high walls invites disaster.
20 The crooked heart will not prosper; the lying tongue tumbles into trouble.
21 It is painful to be the parent of a fool; there is no joy for the father of a rebel.
22A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.
23 The wicked take secret bribes to pervert the course of justice.
24 Sensible people keep their eyes glued on wisdom, but a fool’s eyes wander to the ends of the earth.
25 Foolish children bring grief to their father and bitterness to the one who gave them birth.
26 It is wrong to punish the godly for being good or to flog leaders for being honest.
27 A truly wise person uses few words; a person with understanding is even-tempered.
28Even fools are thought wise when they keep silent; with their mouths shut, they seem intelligent.

Plagiarism

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“Copying someone else’s faith without putting in the effort to have a personal relationship with God is like plagiarizing an F paper.”~TB

Foundation

No pastor, preacher, prophet, or human can build a relationship with God for you. Sure, they can lead and encourage you to the Source, but you have to put in the effort. The foundation of your faith has to be your direct connection with Him. If you don’t turn off all of the worldly distractions and spend your time with God, there is no way you can grow in faith. Be honest with yourselves to create a foundation that is rooted in the Truth. The path to God is simple. The discipline to follow the simple path, well, that depends on you.

Doubt Happens by Cheating

Following God in an ostentatiously flawed world is challenging. There are so many people who criticize, disparage and doubt God. When people behave this way,  it’s because they themselves have not done the personal work to get to know Him. When you copy their fake ideas and agenda, it’s no wonder you fall prey to their doubt. You cheated and tried to gain access using the incorrect answers. If you don’t study for a test, how do you expect to know the right answers from the wrong ones? More to the point, if you don’t know God, how do you expect to understand His answers and reject the incorrect human answers? You can’t, which is why your faith sucks. There is none!

Flawed Logic

We are all idiot sinners, destined to continue being flawed, which is the exact reason you must cultivate your own connection to the Lord. Sure, we improve as we walk closer with Him, but we will never be perfect. People will always fall short, so if you copy their external faith, you only see the human side of a spiritual relationship. Because you cannot hear their conversations with God, you only see the flaws. On the outside, of course, it looks busted! Because you copied the wrong answers for a test that is uniquely yours. My test is different than your test. Your test is different than mine. But we all have the same studying tools available to learn and understand how to pass our own personal tests. Keep your eyes on your own paper.

Today’s Question

Are you studying for your Holy exam or are you copying the answers of a failed test?

Psalm 111

1 Praise the LORD ! I will thank the LORD with all my heart as I meet with his godly people.
2 How amazing are the deeds of the LORD ! All who delight in him should ponder them.
3 Everything he does reveals his glory and majesty. His righteousness never fails.
4 He causes us to remember his wonderful works. How gracious and merciful is our LORD !
5 He gives food to those who fear him; he always remembers his covenant.
6 He has shown his great power to his people by giving them the lands of other nations.
7 All he does is just and good, and all his commandments are trustworthy.
8 They are forever true, to be obeyed faithfully and with integrity.
9 He has paid a full ransom for his people. He has guaranteed his covenant with them forever. What a holy, awe-inspiring name he has!
10 Fear of the LORD is the foundation of true wisdom. All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom. Praise him forever!

Who Can You Blame

glasses-1246611_1920 (1).jpg

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“If God continually invests His resources and time into you and you still don’t get it, who can you blame?”~TB

Optics

When you use God’s Holy lens to view your life, you learn not to sweat the small stuff because you understand the greater importance that He has placed on your life. People, situations, problems, and the like are easier to navigate because you see the playing field from a Biblical perspective. Using God’s resources, your trials become less trivial, as you experience peace in even the harshest conditions. Friends, you cannot survive this world successfully without the provisions of God. Step out of your understanding and rely on His.

Myopic

When you refuse to use the Holy resources that are abundantly available, your sight is useless. Everyone else is at fault for your existence and peace is but a dream because you lack the Biblical vision to pass your Holy eye exam. Step back and look again! God has been with you this whole time. The Bible is available to you in every format possible. Quit licking your superficial wounds and cling to the Truth! If you fail to confer with your Father in Heaven, that is your fault. So step off of your sanctimonious cross and use your Holy resources! Stop using your myopic viewpoint and adopt God’s superior vision to life in the Truth.

Today’s Question

Who can you blame if you fail to do your own work?

Psalm 110

1 The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies, making them a footstool under your feet.”
2 The LORD will extend your powerful kingdom from Jerusalem ; you will rule over your enemies.
3 When you go to war, your people will serve you willingly. You are arrayed in holy garments, and your strength will be renewed each day like the morning dew.
4 The LORD has taken an oath and will not break his vow: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”
5 The Lord stands at your right hand to protect you. He will strike down many kings when his anger erupts.
6 He will punish the nations and fill their lands with corpses; he will shatter heads over the whole earth.
7 But he himself will be refreshed from brooks along the way. He will be victorious.

Independent Study

books-462579_1920.jpg

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“It takes only 5 minutes to read a chapter of the Bible a day, yet few people actually do it.”~ Jon Barnes

Right Answers

The path to Truth and righteousness is very simple in nature. It requires independent study, on your own time, with your own eyes, in order for you to receive its inheritance.  The Bible espouses wisdom to those who continually seek the Truth. By doing your Biblical homework, reading a chapter and meditating on the Word on a daily basis, you find the correct answers to navigate the many traps and snares in this fallen world. However, many fail to cultivate the discipline and steadfastness required to pass their Biblical tests.

Wrong Answers

When you are lazy and fail to do your Biblical reading, you rely on the wrong answers of false teachers, pastors, prophets, and the like. You fall prey to their fake candor, false leadership, and flattering words. Slowly but surely they turn your hearts from the Lord and onto their agendas. Friends, if your spiritual leaders are pointing towards a “Caesar” for leadership, they are not of God. God does not need politicians or world leaders of any kind to gain access to our hearts and minds. Only a fool who copied false answers instead of studying the Word would fall prey to that. Do you not recall the reign of Saul? Study the Word so that you can receive everlasting life. Or don’t and enjoy the alternative. The choice is ultimately yours.

Today’s Question

Are you ready to study the right answers or are you comfortable with passing the test to hell?

Psalm 80

1 Please listen, O Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph’s descendants like a flock. O God, enthroned above the cherubim, display your radiant glory
2 to Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh. Show us your mighty power. Come to rescue us!
3 Turn us again to yourself, O God. Make your face shine down upon us. Only then will we be saved.
4 O LORD God of Heaven’s Armies, how long will you be angry with our prayers?
5 You have fed us with sorrow and made us drink tears by the bucketful.
6 You have made us the scorn of neighboring nations. Our enemies treat us as a joke.
7 Turn us again to yourself, O God of Heaven’s Armies. Make your face shine down upon us. Only then will we be saved.
8 You brought us from Egypt like a grapevine; you drove away the pagan nations and transplanted us into your land.
9 You cleared the ground for us, and we took root and filled the land.
10 Our shade covered the mountains; our branches covered the mighty cedars.
11 We spread our branches west to the Mediterranean Sea; our shoots spread east to the Euphrates River.
12But now, why have you broken down our walls so that all who pass by may steal our fruit?
13 The wild boar from the forest devours it, and the wild animals feed on it.
14 Come back, we beg you, O God of Heaven’s Armies. Look down from heaven and see our plight. Take care of this grapevine
15 that you yourself have planted, this son you have raised for yourself.
16 For we are chopped up and burned by our enemies. May they perish at the sight of your frown.
17 Strengthen the man you love, the son of your choice.
18 Then we will never abandon you again. Revive us so we can call on your name once more.
19 Turn us again to yourself, O LORD God of Heaven’s Armies. Make your face shine down upon us. Only then will we be saved.

2 Samuel 2

David Anointed King of Judah

After this, David asked the Lord, “Should I move back to one of the towns of Judah?”
“Yes,” the Lord replied.
Then David asked, “Which town should I go to?”
“To Hebron,” the Lord answered.
David’s two wives were Ahinoam from Jezreel and Abigail, the widow of Nabal from Carmel. So David and his wives and his men and their families all moved to Judah, and they settled in the villages near Hebron. Then the men of Judah came to David and anointed him king over the people of Judah.
When David heard that the men of Jabesh-gilead had buried Saul, he sent them this message: “May the Lord bless you for being so loyal to your master Saul and giving him a decent burial. May the Lord be loyal to you in return and reward you with his unfailing love! And I, too, will reward you for what you have done. Now that Saul is dead, I ask you to be my strong and loyal subjects like the people of Judah, who have anointed me as their new king.”

Ishbosheth Proclaimed King of Israel

But Abner son of Ner, the commander of Saul’s army, had already gone to Mahanaim with Saul’s son Ishbosheth.[a] There he proclaimed Ishbosheth king over Gilead, Jezreel, Ephraim, Benjamin, the land of the Ashurites, and all the rest of Israel.
10 Ishbosheth, Saul’s son, was forty years old when he became king, and he ruled from Mahanaim for two years. Meanwhile, the people of Judah remained loyal to David. 11 David made Hebron his capital, and he ruled as king of Judah for seven and a half years.

War between Israel and Judah

12 One day Abner led Ishbosheth’s troops from Mahanaim to Gibeon. 13 About the same time, Joab son of Zeruiah led David’s troops out and met them at the pool of Gibeon. The two groups sat down there, facing each other from opposite sides of the pool.
14 Then Abner suggested to Joab, “Let’s have a few of our warriors fight hand to hand here in front of us.”
“All right,” Joab agreed. 15 So twelve men were chosen to fight from each side—twelve men of Benjamin representing Ishbosheth son of Saul, and twelve representing David. 16 Each one grabbed his opponent by the hair and thrust his sword into the other’s side so that all of them died. So this place at Gibeon has been known ever since as the Field of Swords.[b]
17 A fierce battle followed that day, and Abner and the men of Israel were defeated by the forces of David.

The Death of Asahel

18 Joab, Abishai, and Asahel—the three sons of Zeruiah—were among David’s forces that day. Asahel could run like a gazelle, 19 and he began chasing Abner. He pursued him relentlessly, not stopping for anything. 20 When Abner looked back and saw him coming, he called out, “Is that you, Asahel?”
“Yes, it is,” he replied.
21 “Go fight someone else!” Abner warned. “Take on one of the younger men, and strip him of his weapons.” But Asahel kept right on chasing Abner.
22 Again Abner shouted to him, “Get away from here! I don’t want to kill you. How could I ever face your brother Joab again?”
23 But Asahel refused to turn back, so Abner thrust the butt end of his spear through Asahel’s stomach, and the spear came out through his back. He stumbled to the ground and died there. And everyone who came by that spot stopped and stood still when they saw Asahel lying there.
24 When Joab and Abishai found out what had happened, they set out after Abner. The sun was just going down as they arrived at the hill of Ammah near Giah, along the road to the wilderness of Gibeon. 25 Abner’s troops from the tribe of Benjamin regrouped there at the top of the hill to take a stand.
26 Abner shouted down to Joab, “Must we always be killing each other? Don’t you realize that bitterness is the only result? When will you call off your men from chasing their Israelite brothers?”
27 Then Joab said, “God only knows what would have happened if you hadn’t spoken, for we would have chased you all night if necessary.” 28 So Joab blew the ram’s horn, and his men stopped chasing the troops of Israel.
29 All that night Abner and his men retreated through the Jordan Valley.[c] They crossed the Jordan River, traveling all through the morning,[d] and didn’t stop until they arrived at Mahanaim.
30 Meanwhile, Joab and his men also returned home. When Joab counted his casualties, he discovered that only 19 men were missing in addition to Asahel.31 But 360 of Abner’s men had been killed, all from the tribe of Benjamin. 32 Joab and his men took Asahel’s body to Bethlehem and buried him there in his father’s tomb. Then they traveled all night and reached Hebron at daybreak.

Today’s Quote
“As you plan for the future into the next year, plan a little each day by reading, studying, and applying your homework and personal lessons about God, your Father, and Creator.” ~ Jon Barnes

Organization

I will stop wasting my time on things that are not good for me to think about or do, so that I may focus on the good things and opportunities God wants for me in my life, as I hope that includes you.  You can’t make people organize and do the right things for themselves. They have to want to do their own homework and improve with God’s love, mercy, and grace.  Old sins should be dead in your life so you can focus on fixing the new ones that you don’t know about.  We are all imperfect, but ask God for help in your daily walk in the right direction of your eternal future, today and each day you are given.

Imperfection

Just because you are imperfect doesn’t mean you can lie, cheat, and steal, your way into heaven. God’s connection with you and your life is a real one and if you don’t have it, you already know this.  Stop lying to yourself, pray, and ask God for the real connection and maintain your good standing with faith, good work, prayer, studying, and fasting. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, then you are yet still not connected. You cannot remain connected to God as a disobedient child of God, who pretends to have faith, with no evidence of love work in your lifestyle.

Makeup

Many people think that they can go to the store and buy some makeup to color their faces with a Christian look or buy a pair of shoes with special colors and Christian labels to pretend that God is walking with them.  When you die and knock on the door of heaven, know that God will reject people who habitually break the 10 Commandments with fake love and lies hidden in their hearts and lifestyle.  You cannot make up or falsify your personal relationship and walk with God. You are the Make Up and God Made Up your face with his own hands! You are beautiful and wonderfully made!
Today’s Question
Why are you using the devil’s fake makeup and clothing, when you should be clothed with God’s Holy Word, Work, and Spirit to connect to your Father, The Creator of Heaven, Earth, and All things?

Deuteronomy 23

Regulations concerning Worship

23 [a]“If a man’s testicles are crushed or his penis is cut off, he may not be admitted to the assembly of the Lord.
“If a person is illegitimate by birth, neither he nor his descendants for ten generations may be admitted to the assembly of the Lord.
“No Ammonite or Moabite or any of their descendants for ten generations may be admitted to the assembly of the Lord. These nations did not welcome you with food and water when you came out of Egypt. Instead, they hired Balaam son of Beor from Pethor in distant Aram-naharaim to curse you. But the Lord your God refused to listen to Balaam. He turned the intended curse into a blessing because the Lord your God loves you. As long as you live, you must never promote the welfare and prosperity of the Ammonites or Moabites.
“Do not detest the Edomites or the Egyptians, because the Edomites are your relatives and you lived as foreigners among the Egyptians. The third generation of Edomites and Egyptians may enter the assembly of the Lord.

Miscellaneous Regulations

“When you go to war against your enemies, be sure to stay away from anything that is impure.
10 “Any man who becomes ceremonially defiled because of a nocturnal emission must leave the camp and stay away all day. 11 Toward evening he must bathe himself, and at sunset he may return to the camp.
12 “You must have a designated area outside the camp where you can go to relieve yourself. 13 Each of you must have a spade as part of your equipment. Whenever you relieve yourself, dig a hole with the spade and cover the excrement. 14 The camp must be holy, for the Lord your God moves around in your camp to protect you and to defeat your enemies. He must not see any shameful thing among you, or he will turn away from you.
15 “If slaves should escape from their masters and take refuge with you, you must not hand them over to their masters. 16 Let them live among you in any town they choose, and do not oppress them.
17 “No Israelite, whether man or woman, may become a temple prostitute. 18 When you are bringing an offering to fulfill a vow, you must not bring to the house of the Lord your God any offering from the earnings of a prostitute, whether a man[b] or a woman, for both are detestable to the Lord your God.
19 “Do not charge interest on the loans you make to a fellow Israelite, whether you loan money, or food, or anything else. 20 You may charge interest to foreigners, but you may not charge interest to Israelites, so that the Lord your God may bless you in everything you do in the land you are about to enter and occupy.
21 “When you make a vow to the Lord your God, be prompt in fulfilling whatever you promised him. For the Lord your God demands that you promptly fulfill all your vows, or you will be guilty of sin. 22 However, it is not a sin to refrain from making a vow. 23 But once you have voluntarily made a vow, be careful to fulfill your promise to the Lord your God.
24 “When you enter your neighbor’s vineyard, you may eat your fill of grapes, but you must not carry any away in a basket. 25 And when you enter your neighbor’s field of grain, you may pluck the heads of grain with your hand, but you must not harvest it with a sickle.

Valuable

gem-2420244_1920
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Making yourself valuable to your family and society by studying, learning, growing, earning, helping, giving and saving, is important, but first you must follow the wonderful wisdom of God to retain, teach, and give true love value in your lifestyle and generations to come.” ~ Jon Barnes

Your Name

What your children do or become is a direct reflection of the value you placed on God, His Word, Prayer, Faith, Work, and His Ways! Unfortunately, we all have been taught to focus on making the most money, building the biggest, best thing, and enslaving people to do the work for us, as we take the credit, wealth, and value. The lack of equity and distribution management with our time, love, and charity will follow your family name and value, or lack thereof! Your name has no value without Good Works!

Retention

The results of what God has taught you will remain with you and your family line, based on how well you have practiced these pleasant principles of virtue, loyalty, honor, respect, and hands on love. This means a Good Parent has personally models, stated, and restated God’s love principles and examples into the lives of their children until death, so that the children eat and sleep the ways of their parents and the virtues of God! The meaning and value of your family name will follow you and ring before men and God, if you obey and honor your parents and God! Faith is Not retained without Good Works!

Champion

In the mind of a champion, there is only one way to get to the top of the mountain where God is; You must climb and value the lessons, labor, wisdom, prayer, and commandments given to you. A Champion parent breeds champion children to excel in the ways of God or die trying! Ultimately, your failure is your fate of choice with an amount or lack of faith you have in God, along with the value you place in God’s Commandments of Truth and Justice. The value of God’s Spirit rest strongly upon you, doing good works, following God! Faith is the evidence of things hoped for, yet not seen, in the mind of a true champion of value, who walks and talks with God!
Today’s Question
Do you have the heart of a champion servant, practicing what God preaches, which has been passed on to your children and people around you or do you have the heart of a lying devil, seeking to use and destroy all that in on this earth for your own personal gain?

Genesis 43

The Brothers Return to Egypt

43 But the famine continued to ravage the land of Canaan. When the grain they had brought from Egypt was almost gone, Jacob said to his sons, “Go back and buy us a little more food.”
But Judah said, “The man was serious when he warned us, ‘You won’t see my face again unless your brother is with you.’ If you send Benjamin with us, we will go down and buy more food. But if you don’t let Benjamin go, we won’t go either. Remember, the man said, ‘You won’t see my face again unless your brother is with you.’”
“Why were you so cruel to me?” Jacob[a] moaned. “Why did you tell him you had another brother?”
“The man kept asking us questions about our family,” they replied. “He asked, ‘Is your father still alive? Do you have another brother?’ So we answered his questions. How could we know he would say, ‘Bring your brother down here’?”
Judah said to his father, “Send the boy with me, and we will be on our way. Otherwise we will all die of starvation—and not only we, but you and our little ones. I personally guarantee his safety. You may hold me responsible if I don’t bring him back to you. Then let me bear the blame forever. 10 If we hadn’t wasted all this time, we could have gone and returned twice by now.”
11 So their father, Jacob, finally said to them, “If it can’t be avoided, then at least do this. Pack your bags with the best products of this land. Take them down to the man as gifts—balm, honey, gum, aromatic resin, pistachio nuts, and almonds.12 Also take double the money that was put back in your sacks, as it was probably someone’s mistake. 13 Then take your brother, and go back to the man. 14 May God Almighty[b] give you mercy as you go before the man, so that he will release Simeon and let Benjamin return. But if I must lose my children, so be it.”
15 So the men packed Jacob’s gifts and double the money and headed off with Benjamin. They finally arrived in Egypt and presented themselves to Joseph.16 When Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the manager of his household, “These men will eat with me this noon. Take them inside the palace. Then go slaughter an animal, and prepare a big feast.” 17 So the man did as Joseph told him and took them into Joseph’s palace.
18 The brothers were terrified when they saw that they were being taken into Joseph’s house. “It’s because of the money someone put in our sacks last time we were here,” they said. “He plans to pretend that we stole it. Then he will seize us, make us slaves, and take our donkeys.”

A Feast at Joseph’s Palace

19 The brothers approached the manager of Joseph’s household and spoke to him at the entrance to the palace. 20 “Sir,” they said, “we came to Egypt once before to buy food. 21 But as we were returning home, we stopped for the night and opened our sacks. Then we discovered that each man’s money—the exact amount paid—was in the top of his sack! Here it is; we have brought it back with us. 22 We also have additional money to buy more food. We have no idea who put our money in our sacks.”
23 “Relax. Don’t be afraid,” the household manager told them. “Your God, the God of your father, must have put this treasure into your sacks. I know I received your payment.” Then he released Simeon and brought him out to them.
24 The manager then led the men into Joseph’s palace. He gave them water to wash their feet and provided food for their donkeys. 25 They were told they would be eating there, so they prepared their gifts for Joseph’s arrival at noon.
26 When Joseph came home, they gave him the gifts they had brought him, then bowed low to the ground before him. 27 After greeting them, he asked, “How is your father, the old man you spoke about? Is he still alive?”
28 “Yes,” they replied. “Our father, your servant, is alive and well.” And they bowed low again.
29 Then Joseph looked at his brother Benjamin, the son of his own mother. “Is this your youngest brother, the one you told me about?” Joseph asked. “May God be gracious to you, my son.” 30 Then Joseph hurried from the room because he was overcome with emotion for his brother. He went into his private room, where he broke down and wept. 31 After washing his face, he came back out, keeping himself under control. Then he ordered, “Bring out the food!”
32 The waiters served Joseph at his own table, and his brothers were served at a separate table. The Egyptians who ate with Joseph sat at their own table, because Egyptians despise Hebrews and refuse to eat with them. 33 Joseph told each of his brothers where to sit, and to their amazement, he seated them according to age, from oldest to youngest. 34 And Joseph filled their plates with food from his own table, giving Benjamin five times as much as he gave the others. So they feasted and drank freely with him.

Graduation

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“After years of learning, reading, studying, practicing, growing, and loving, you are now ready to inspire and do the Good Work yourself, which is to love God with all of your heart, mind, body, and soul, along with loving your neighbor as yourself.” ~ Jon Barnes

Pass

Few will pass the test of reading, studying, learning, following, and doing the simple instructions of practicing their faith in God. Many will reject the preaching, teaching, examples, miracles, and commandments of God, by creating fake news, fakes gods, fake religions, fake laws, and fake lifestyles to satisfy and worship greed, lust, things, power, and other evil spirits doomed for The Fire Pit.

Certification

When you reject God’s love and lifestyle from entering into your heart, you close the narrow door into heaven, because you refuse to repent, change, and follow God’s suggestions. You cannot get into heaven unless you follow Christ, who will certify that you completed assignments, quizzes, test, lectures, projects, or relevant work that was necessary to fulfill the requirements and credits. You cannot buy your certification.

Resurrection

Jesus obeyed His Father and follow the program of instructions that was given to Him. He chose to get the Doctorate Certification, being the first and only to graduate with Magna Cum Laude sacrificial lamb skinned degree, with the shedding of His Blood on the cross, for our sins on Calvary.  The blood of Christ washes away our sins as we repent, learn, comply, and apply the commandments and lifestyle set before us.
Today’s Question
Are you following your own lifestyle to hell or are you connected to the Blood of the Lamb to certify your graduation credentials and lifestyle of God’s ways and order?

John 15

The Vine and the Branches

15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. 17 This is my command: Love each other.

The World Hates the Disciples

18 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20 Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’[b] If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.21 They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 Whoever hates me hates my Father as well. 24 If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. 25 But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated me without reason.’[c]

The Work of the Holy Spirit

26 “When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me. 27 And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning.
Love,
Jonathan

Learned Mistakes

Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“I kept making the same mistakes on God’s Tests because I couldn’t hear, read or spell well and I didn’t care to improve. So I took hearing and speed reading classes in college and stepped up my “A” Game to move out of the Devil’s Ghetto!  ~ Jon Barnes

The Devil’s Ghetto

The Devil’s Ghetto is located anywhere in the world where people are doing the works of the Devil, spreading the message of hate, lust, confusion, greed, fake power, and self righteousness of pride. This evil takes advantage of the poor, enslaving the children of poverty, and capitalizing on the muscles of mayhem– dictating non-biblical principles and lifestyle creates confusion, war, greed, and impasse. I have traveled the world and I see it everywhere I’ve been. Mistakes Matter in your Message Manager!

Message Manager

The message is self evident and clear to those who will do better and leave the Devil’s Ghetto for a better opportunity to follow God and improve your ability to take care of your family and others.  Do not keep your family in a place where you cannot pray, educate, work or feed them. Use God’s Message Manager to Google what to do from the Bible.  God will inbox, you or email your heart with proper instructions, support groups and a path of escape for you and your loved ones!  Find the Story of Moses and pay attention to the lesson. Learn from your mistakes or die in your sin. Be encouraged by the Truth!

The Good Mistake

I was born a mistake and I personally want to prove to God and myself that I was NOT! Look at my life; it is second to none.  I’ve been rich, poor, smart, dumb, ignorant, educated, fast, slow, up, down, an angel and a devil, yet I choose to work for my Father, God!  Challenge yourself  to be a Good Mistake for God.  If you came from a good family, Great, do well!  If your parents were druggies, so what– do Better!  If your parents left you out on a curb to die and you were saved by a good Samaritan, bless God and do Good! Don’t let someone who was born out of a mistake put your lowly work ethics to shame.   Defeat the Devil with God’s Message Manager and win!

1 Corinthians 6New International Version (NIV)

Lawsuits Among Believers

If any of you has a dispute with another, do you dare to take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the Lord’s people? Or do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life! Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters, do you ask for a ruling from those whose way of life is scorned in the church? I say this to shame you. Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers? But instead, one brother takes another to court—and this in front of unbelievers!
The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated? Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers and sisters. Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men[a] 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Sexual Immorality

12 “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything. 13 You say, “Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, and God will destroy them both.” The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.14 By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. 15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”[b] 17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.[c]
18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. 19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

Love,

Jonathan
