It is hard to raise kids when you are not around to monitor, mentor, and protect your investment.  People cannot protect your loved ones for you.  You must place the proper checks and balances into the choices, decisions, options, and contingency plans into the neighborhood, environment, forest, streets, places, and homes where you live.

Anyone

People will invite you to the best events because they want to be associated with your quality of thoughts, work ethics, morals, values, and integrity.  You are known for who you are at an instant, as you open your mouth to speak, sing, or work.  What comes out of you is the real you and that reality is genuine.  So believe people when they exercise their evil intentions.  They are not lying about who they really are.

Accumulates

Character is accumulated when you save, practice, share and spend what you preach around anyone all the time.  Be who you are with God and learn how to handle your own business, lifestyle, and choices properly.  Say no to idiots!  The more you practice good habits from God, your heart of ethics will override satan’s attempt to derail your movements, prayers, thoughts, and actions.

Take Notice

The little things of obedience add up to big things of compliance and good lifestyle changes that will guide your path into the arms of God. He can see the simple, little, steps of improvement and sacrifices of faith that eventually move mountains away from your life’s problems, if you take notice. Be quiet, pay attention, and take notice.

Respect 

Respect God and His plans for your life by practicing the little details of excellence, quality, and honesty, and your character will increase with your good reputation in God with your good work. Don’t stop doing the good work because someone made you feel badly. Dig in and keep loving and sharing the truth.  Thank God that Christ was obedient to His Father, unlike all of us!

Tough Love

Enjoy the rod of correction from God and comply with His lifestyle so that you grow and improve on the work of your faith.  The proof of God’s love is also in the correction and the discipline side of your spiritual education. Let the love of God, teach your heart how to train your mind and body to walk with God and minimize your tough love ASSignments, by just honestly doing the work! Stop waiting for God or your dad to ask you to do your job.

John 20

The Resurrection

20 Early on Sunday morning,[a] while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. She said, “They have taken the Lord’s body out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”
Peter and the other disciple started out for the tomb. They were both running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. He stooped and looked in and saw the linen wrappings lying there, but he didn’t go in. Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, while the cloth that had covered Jesus’ head was folded up and lying apart from the other wrappings. Then the disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed— for until then they still hadn’t understood the Scriptures that said Jesus must rise from the dead. 10 Then they went home.

Purpose of the Book

30 The disciples saw Jesus do many other miraculous signs in addition to the ones recorded in this book. 31 But these are written so that you may continue to believe[d] that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in him you will have life by the power of his name.

Your Job

It Is

It is your job to show everyone what you are made of and your humility will push you forward and up God’s ladder of personal success, access, and achievement.  Simply doing a great job is good enough to reap what you have sown. Keep doing your good jobs and deeds, especially when people mistreat you. God will fix the rest. Do your part and be faithful as a good steward.

It Is Not

It is not possible to do two jobs at once, so you cannot do someone else’s job and expect to complete your level of quality work as well.  Know your box and over deliver with quality and set the standard of excellence in your life, along with the people around you.  They are watching you and so is God. I don’t have time to judge the quality of work from other people. The work is judgement unto itself.

“A” Note

People will copy, the quality standards that you set, if you stay committed to your job. A simple note is to practice and play what you preach.  Make sure you are getting credit for practicing God’s lifestyle of love and responsibility in your job each day, by finishing well and completing your assignments. Prosperity that is not earned has no value or added benefit to a soul that is lost and bound for hell.

1 Peter 2

The Living Stone and a Chosen People

As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house[a] to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For in Scripture it says:
“See, I lay a stone in Zion,
    a chosen and precious cornerstone,
and the one who trusts in him
    will never be put to shame.”[b]
Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe,
“The stone the builders rejected
    has become the cornerstone,”[c]
and,
“A stone that causes people to stumble
    and a rock that makes them fall.”[d]
They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for.
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Living Godly Lives in a Pagan Society

11 Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires,which wage war against your soul. 12 Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.
13 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, 14 or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. 15 For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people.16 Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. 17 Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.

Treatment

I have learned to ignore what people say and focus on what they have done, what they are doing, and what they will possibly do, based on their character and obvious treatment of others. People who exercise their faith in practicing self improvement will change a little each day, showing great subtle progress. The eyes of God can see and measure this progress, because you can feel, observe, and follow the growth and harvest of true love being delivered in the lifestyle of responsible people.

Home improvement

These good people constantly work on their family home improvement projects like, staying positive, adjusting bad attitudes, keeping motivated, finding good solutions, asking great questions, listening to sound wisdom, and working with God’s solutions to balance home life. Your home life follows you to work, church, functions, schools down the street, and around the world. Your home improvement projects are quite public and noticeable to everyone.

Daily Focus

Balance your daily focus on hitting each target project you have selected to work on.  Find four things you want God to help you improve on and fix them at home first.  The results will become clear when you practice what you have learned at work, school, and in public places. People know and accurately talk about who you are, even though they may lie and covet your great qualities. Give them and God something to talk about. The completion of your personal home improvement projects, paints a clear picture of how much you love God and others and the level of personal responsibility you place on getting the good job done!

Trials and Temptations

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position.10 But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wild flower. 11 For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich will fade away even while they go about their business.
12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

Listening and Doing

19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.
22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

Balanced Sleep

Percentages

Eight hours of each category per day are ideal, yet 75% for each category is a good realistic goal. Sleep that makes you happy when you wake up helps to heal and repair damaged tissue, cells, and organs so that you can operate well into the day. Work that makes you happy and smile will allow you to enjoy life a long time. Making time to play, laugh, and smile while you help people will help build up your immune system and fight off illness.

Efficiency

You body chemicals will regulate all of you major organs properly when you maintain a balance schedule and proper percentages of activities to minimize fatigue and permanent damage. Exercising and choosing the proper, jobs, functions and activities are not always easy or available.  Your job is to make efficient choices to minimize risk and maximize ROI, return of your investment of time, education, resources, and proper lifestyle with your family, friends, and employment.

Productivity

Productivity increases when you are the owner, buyer, seller, and repair person in your shop. As your business grows you can hire help to train and give back to your community. Productivity based on deception, greed, and evil business practices are really counterproductive and harmful to your life, health, and Soul. God will judge our productivity, quality and honesty of work ethic and our lifestyle will show proof and evidence of our True Success in God, in which money can not measure.

Titus 2

Doing Good for the Sake of the Gospel

You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine. Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.
Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.
Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled. In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.
Teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything, to try to please them, not to talk back to them, 10 and not to steal from them, but to show that they can be fully trusted, so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Saviorattractive.
11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

Alone

What you do for God is not always seen or readily understood by others.  However, God Knows that you are thankful.  We don’t go around with a sign that says, “hey, look at me doing good work”.  Your work speaks to God for itself.  It is the good work that activates your faith and pleases God, when you walk in faith.

Share Thanksgiving

We are thankful because we share the Good News of God in our lifestyle, which talks to the people all around us. Your words mean nothing when you cannot back them up with your faith in action.  Faith in action is sharing and caring with thanksgiving in action.

Stay Happy

I stay Happy because I am alive and can make someone else happy with the quality work that I do.  Pretend that God is always standing over you, and your perspective will change your work ethic. God’s love activates the “Stay Happy” feeling in your heart when you go through the storms at work, while relaxing, on the job, at church, or on vacation.  My Grandmother always had a beautiful loving smile.

Personal

Your quality of work is personal between you and God, with no place to hide.  Match your focus with God’s intentions and you will find success and happiness.  Focus your attention on money, fame, power, and fortune to find failure and emptiness.  This is a personal choice and I’m happy with what you choose for yourself.

Hard Choice

It is hard for me to be lazy and not do a Good Job, as if God is still in the room watching me practice, study, read, pray, play, work, or think.   My mind keeps God close in the Room, the devil is nowhere to be found!  When I turn on my TV, that is a whole different story.  As a result, I turn on the TV sparingly, as needed.  That struggle is real, so I just turn it off!

Easy Choice

Life is so much easier when I just do the Good Work and allow God to help, lead, and guide my day with excellence.  I come up with the best ideas, while helping, mentoring, and coaching others to fight off evil vibes. Let us not get stuck in the mud with negative talk, irrelevant questions, and lazy thinking.  Act out the right choices with God’s patience and practices.

Philippians 4

Closing Appeal for Steadfastness and Unity

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, dear friends!
I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. Yes, and I ask you, my true companion, help these women since they have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are in the book of life.

Final Exhortations

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

The creator knows your work ethic, skill set, diligence, motives, and abilities.  However, it is your job to learn these things about God and how He blesses!  As you pray, fast, and study His Word, you will be wise to remember that there is nothing God cannot do!  In our labor for God, their is nothing that we cannot do for God that is explained in His Bible, Commandments, and instructions.  As a result, our blessings line up with our behavior and your kids, friends, enemies and family all benefit from your obedience and lifestyle example.

God Sees Your Loss

The Master knows what you are missing out on with the cares of this world to follow Christ and live for God. The faith, sacrifice, prayers, work and love for God is proof that you are a child of God. Since you  do the Good Work, God’s reward system is far better than your imagination or world’s system of money, success and power. You lose your sin to gain access to God’s eternal Heavenly party, which can not be imagined! You have lost nothing for less than 100 years of living.  The average life expectancy is only approximately 75 years so you are losing 25 years on average.

God Has All The Time

Imagine this, God has lived more than your soul will live forever.  See the Big Picture and keep counting.
Now keep counting, multiply this number by itself and square that number, again and again and again. God Holds all of the Time in All of the Worlds before the beginnings and beyond the ends of all things.

Jesus Calls His First Disciples

5 One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret,[a] the people were crowding around him and listening to the word of God. He saw at the water’s edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets. He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat.
When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.”
5 Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything.But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”
When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!” For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken, 10 and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon’s partners.
Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.”11 So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.

Jesus Heals a Man With Leprosy

12 While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy.[b] When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”
13 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.
14 Then Jesus ordered him, “Don’t tell anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”
15 Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. 16 But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralyzed Man

17 One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there. They had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick. 18 Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus.19 When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.
20 When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”
21 The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves, “Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”
22 Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts? 23 Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? 24 But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” 25 Immediately he stood up in front of them, took what he had been lying on and went home praising God. 26 Everyone was amazed and gave praise to God. They were filled with awe and said, “We have seen remarkable things today.”

Jesus Calls Levi and Eats With Sinners

27 After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector by the name of Levi sitting at his tax booth. “Follow me,” Jesus said to him, 28 and Levi got up, left everything and followed him.
29 Then Levi held a great banquet for Jesus at his house, and a large crowd of tax collectors and others were eating with them. 30 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect complained to his disciples, “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”
31 Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Jesus Questioned About Fasting

33 They said to him, “John’s disciples often fast and pray, and so do the disciples of the Pharisees, but yours go on eating and drinking.”
34 Jesus answered, “Can you make the friends of the bridegroom fast while he is with them? 35 But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; in those days they will fast.”
36 He told them this parable: “No one tears a piece out of a new garment to patch an old one. Otherwise, they will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old. 37 And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined.38 No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins. 39 And no one after drinking old wine wants the new, for they say, ‘The old is better.’”
