Barnes is life, means the life of a child being studied through the eyes of the New Testament, to help us understand each step we take in life to reach God.  Life is not always easy and we do not always have the answers or even follow them when we do understand the steps.  Yet, we get back up, repent, and try again. Our love for God and willingness to take each step towards him, like children on the playground, allows us access, opportunity, and connection to our Father.
