Unlimited

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“God’s love, forgiveness, and acceptance are infinitely unlimited. Apply them to your lives daily.”~TB

Distorted

Don’t allow distorted thinking to limit your understanding of God’s love for you. Whether it’s coming from the opposition or a negative mindset, the biggest mistake you can make is to confuse your limited resources for God’s. Limited thinking makes you believe that God only loves you when you’re on target. That is not so! God loves you always. So whenever you mess up, set aside your finite resources and reach out to the Lord in your weakness. Friends, strength does not come from fine-tuning your skills. It comes from understanding how weak and imperfect you are.

Strength in Weakness

There will be times when you pass tests and are doing well in your work for God. Don’t get too high and mighty, because your success can cloud your judgment and make you feel invincible. As fleshly people, no matter how disciplined, you will never be perfect and eventually, you will fail. When you fall short, as we all do, remember that your weakness is not His. In your time of need, admit your shortcomings. Friends, when you know that your resources are not enough, that is when you can truly lean on God so that He can make up the difference! His unlimited resources supersede yours, covering up the blemishes. So, don’t boast in your strength, but rather rejoice in your weakness. This way you will remember that God is the only way.

Today’s Quote

Is your limited thinking obstructing your relationship with God?

Psalm 148

1 Praise the LORD ! Praise the LORD from the heavens! Praise him from the skies!
2 Praise him, all his angels! Praise him, all the armies of heaven!
3 Praise him, sun and moon! Praise him, all you twinkling stars!
4 Praise him, skies above! Praise him, vapors high above the clouds!
5Let every created thing give praise to the LORD, for he issued his command, and they came into being.
6 He set them in place forever and ever. His decree will never be revoked.
7 Praise the LORD from the earth, you creatures of the ocean depths,
8 fire and hail, snow and clouds, wind and weather that obey him,
9 mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars,
10 wild animals and all livestock, small scurrying animals and birds,
11 kings of the earth and all people, rulers and judges of the earth,
12 young men and young women, old men and children.
13 Let them all praise the name of the LORD . For his name is very great; his glory towers over the earth and heaven!
14 He has made his people strong, honoring his faithful ones— the people of Israel who are close to him. Praise the LORD !

Move

adventure-1850673_1920 (1).jpg

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“Sometimes tough situations are a sign that it’s time for you to get moving in the direction that God wants you to.”~TB

Discern

When you don’t have a relationship with God, it is difficult to understand His plan for your life. When you face trials and tribulations, there is always a lesson or direction attached. Sometimes difficult situations teach you patience or faith. Other times it’s God’s way of telling you to move in a different direction or to move faster towards the task He’s led you to accomplish. Friends, grow close with God so that you may have the discernment to understand His will for you.

Get Moving

If God has given you a vision, a purpose, or a dream, hop to it! Just because you may not understand the end goal does not lessen the need for you to be obedient. We all have a choice to either spend our lives in the wilderness or, answer the call from our Father in Heaven, fulfilling our purpose as He intended. Let’s not be like the Israelites, who took 40 years for an 11-day journey. Contrary to what this sin-fallen world tells you, God did not create you for you to live in misery or enslaved by companies, brands, or whatever holds your heart. Move in the direction that God is leading, so that you may come into the Promiseland.

Today’s Question

Are you on the move or are you stuck in fear and disbelief?

Psalm 147

1 Praise the LORD ! How good to sing praises to our God! How delightful and how fitting!
2 The LORD is rebuilding Jerusalem and bringing the exiles back to Israel.
3 He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.
4 He counts the stars and calls them all by name.
5 How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension!
6 The LORD supports the humble, but he brings the wicked down into the dust.
7 Sing out your thanks to the LORD ; sing praises to our God with a harp.
8 He covers the heavens with clouds, provides rain for the earth, and makes the grass grow in mountain pastures.
9 He gives food to the wild animals and feeds the young ravens when they cry.
10 He takes no pleasure in the strength of a horse or in human might.
11 No, the LORD ’s delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love.
12 Glorify the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion!
13 For he has strengthened the bars of your gates and blessed your children within your walls.
14 He sends peace across your nation and satisfies your hunger with the finest wheat.
15 He sends his orders to the world— how swiftly his word flies!
16 He sends the snow like white wool; he scatters frost upon the ground like ashes.
17 He hurls the hail like stones. Who can stand against his freezing cold?
18 Then, at his command, it all melts. He sends his winds, and the ice thaws.
19 He has revealed his words to Jacob, his decrees and regulations to Israel.
20 He has not done this for any other nation; they do not know his regulations. Praise the LORD !

Solution

connect-20333_1920 (2).jpg

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“Accept the solutions that God provides, rather than relying solely on your own.”~TB

What Should Be

As the body of Christ, we are all interconnected. This means that God desires for us to do our part, helping one another. When you read the Bible regularly, you understand its principles and how each of us has a role in assisting our brothers and sisters. In a perfect world, we would all step up and assist willingly. But, since the world is not perfect, we tend to thwart and disrupt God’s plan, leaving our brothers and sisters hanging. Fortunately for us, God has an infinite supply of backup plans and will send resources to those in need. Friends, accept those solutions, no matter if they don’t fit with your own ideas.

What Is

When manmade solutions fail, as they often do, rely on the solutions of our Father in Heaven. Like Jonah and the Gourd, God most likely sends provisions and resources that to the human eye seem unlikely and absurd. Further, sometimes those solutions require you to be humble, swallow your pride, and accept the help offered by others. Friends, don’t be prideful and refuse help because you don’t want to appear weak. Truth is, we are all weak, so stop pretending! Instead, be glad that God loves you enough to send help in your time of need. Don’t forget, there are lessons to be learned in moments such as these. More to the point, this is an opportunity for the giver to receive a blessing as they are blessing you. So take joy in receiving heavenly solutions rather than staring at the manmade problem.

Today’s Question

Are you holding onto your problems instead of accepting God’s solutions?

Psalm 146

1 Praise the LORD ! Let all that I am praise the LORD .
2 I will praise the LORD as long as I live. I will sing praises to my God with my dying breath.
3 Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there.
4 When they breathe their last, they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them.
5 But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the LORD their God.
6 He made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He keeps every promise forever.
7 He gives justice to the oppressed and food to the hungry. The LORD frees the prisoners.
8 The LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD lifts up those who are weighed down. The LORD loves the godly.
9The LORD protects the foreigners among us. He cares for the orphans and widows, but he frustrates the plans of the wicked.
10 The LORD will reign forever. He will be your God, O Jerusalem, throughout the generations. Praise the LORD !

Reconcile Your Fears

little-boy-1635065_1920.jpg

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“Fear of the Lord is Good. Fear of other things, not so much.”~TB

Growth over Comfort

There are practical fears and then fears that are so debilitating that they stop you in your tracks.  Most common fears come from trying to control something that is out of your grasp. Friends, in any given situation, do what you can do, and let God handle the rest. Those times will probably call for you to step out in faith which is uncomfortable. Choose growth over comfort, as God is showing you how to rely on Him.

In His Hands

When you read the Bible, you will know that all things come from God and nothing is out of His domain. So, if that is the truth, why should any of us be afraid? If God has given you a task, be quick to finish so that your fears won’t hinder your movements. Fear is such a great tool for the enemy because it cripples the mind with minimal effort. Don’t let a virus in the mind corrupt the life that God has for you. Reconcile your fears and know that God is in control.

Today’s Question

Are you at the wheel or is fear driving your vessel?

Psalm 145

1 I will exalt you, my God and King, and praise your name forever and ever.
2 I will praise you every day; yes, I will praise you forever.
3 Great is the LORD ! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure his greatness.
4 Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power.
5 I will meditate on your majestic, glorious splendor and your wonderful miracles.
6 Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue; I will proclaim your greatness.
7 Everyone will share the story of your wonderful goodness; they will sing with joy about your righteousness.
8 The LORD is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
9 The LORD is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation.
10 All of your works will thank you, LORD, and your faithful followers will praise you.
11 They will speak of the glory of your kingdom; they will give examples of your power.
12They will tell about your mighty deeds and about the majesty and glory of your reign.
13 For your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. You rule throughout all generations. The LORD always keeps his promises; he is gracious in all he does.
14 The LORD helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads.
15 The eyes of all look to you in hope; you give them their food as they need it.
16 When you open your hand, you satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living thing.
17 The LORD is righteous in everything he does; he is filled with kindness.
18 The LORD is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth.
19 He grants the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cries for help and rescues them.
20 The LORD protects all those who love him, but he destroys the wicked.
21 I will praise the LORD, and may everyone on earth bless his holy name forever and ever.

No Offense

cat-1378203_1920.jpg

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“When you hold on to offenses and refuse to forgive others, you are establishing yourself as your own god because you cast your judgment on others.”~TB

A Moment

Who are you to judge someone in their worst moment(s)? When you take offense or fail to forgive someone, in your eyes you are immortalizing that person in their misdeed. How blatantly arrogant! Have you not offended? Are you perfect? Of course not, so if the One who Is can freely forgive, what’s your excuse? Friends, take care to resolve your feelings and overinflated egos because when you play god by participating in unforgiveness, you risk poisoning the well, creating a nasty cycle of broken people. People can change, or have you forgotten what our Father in Heaven has done in your life?

A Lifetime

Does a handful of moments override a lifetime? No! How else do you think salvation works? Thank God that He does not make snap decisions or assumptions against us as we do to one another. No one would survive! Fortunately, when we humbly repent, He forgives and forgets, allowing us to grow closer to Him. Forgiveness allows both parties to move past the hurt and become who God intended them to be. Forgiveness is not only for your sake but for all involved! When we humble ourselves and take care to quash offenses, that’s when God can truly do works in us. Don’t play God, He’s infinitely more qualified.

Today’s Question

Are you playing god through your unforgiveness or do you know better?

Psalm 144

1 Praise the LORD, who is my rock. He trains my hands for war and gives my fingers skill for battle.
2 He is my loving ally and my fortress, my tower of safety, my rescuer. He is my shield, and I take refuge in him. He makes the nations submit to me.
3 O LORD, what are human beings that you should notice them, mere mortals that you should think about them?
4 For they are like a breath of air; their days are like a passing shadow.
5 Open the heavens, LORD, and come down. Touch the mountains so they billow smoke.
6 Hurl your lightning bolts and scatter your enemies! Shoot your arrows and confuse them!
7 Reach down from heaven and rescue me; rescue me from deep waters, from the power of my enemies.
8 Their mouths are full of lies; they swear to tell the truth, but they lie instead.
9 I will sing a new song to you, O God! I will sing your praises with a ten-stringed harp.
10 For you grant victory to kings! You rescued your servant David from the fatal sword.
11 Save me! Rescue me from the power of my enemies. Their mouths are full of lies; they swear to tell the truth, but they lie instead.
12 May our sons flourish in their youth like well-nurtured plants. May our daughters be like graceful pillars, carved to beautify a palace.
13May our barns be filled with crops of every kind. May the flocks in our fields multiply by the thousands, even tens of thousands,
14 and may our oxen be loaded down with produce. May there be no enemy breaking through our walls, no going into captivity, no cries of alarm in our town squares.
15Yes, joyful are those who live like this! Joyful indeed are those whose God is the LORD .

Download

network-cables-494648_1920.jpg

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“Download the teachings and love of God to fix your brokeness.”~TB

Hacked

The opposition uses people, society, and yourself to corrupt the operating system that God gave you. Like a skilled hacker, the devil will search your soul for vulnerabilities and loopholes to infect you with viruses. Depending on your areas of vulnerability this may show up in your mind, your physical body, and anywhere else that will cause you to stumble. Friends, this is why you must stay connected to God because His truth is the only solution to the evil one. No manmade patch or workaround will provide you with a cure. Download God’s truth and love.

Download the Biblical Solution

Whenever you feel the virus taking over, reconnect with God so that He may download the truth onto your operating system. His infinite wisdom and unfailing love will override any affliction evil can throw your way. Friends this is why studying the word and having daily conversations with our Father in Heaven is so vital. This world is filled with so many viruses. Whether you struggle with lust, hate, pain, unforgiveness, if you don’t actively fight against these issues, your operating system will not work as it is intended. Instead, your mind will focus on the fleshly cravings of evil practices, making you believe whatever the virus is telling you. Don’t confuse your corrupt hardware for the truth. Downloading the solution is the first step. You must activate it for it to heal your corrupted system.

Put it into practice

Knowing the truth is one thing, living it is a different story. Just because you know that God is the truth and the way does not mean you are living that way. In order for the solution to work, you must change your ways. Sometimes that means leaving friends behind. Sometimes that means distancing yourself from loved ones who must fight their own viruses. But most importantly, it means that you must fight the affliction that lies within yourself. If you’re operating in sexual sin, stop. If you are battling unforgiveness, let go of the offenses. If you struggle to love yourself, remember who loved you first. If you have anger in your heart, concentrate on God’s grace for you. If you feel lost or helpless, cry out to God for help. Friends, the biggest lie that you or I can believe is that God cannot heal you, whatever your affliction may be. So walk away from your previous life and accept the one that God made specifically for you.

Today’s Question

Are you allowing the viruses corrupt your life or are you putting God’s Truth and Love to work?

Psalm 143

1 Hear my prayer, O LORD ; listen to my plea! Answer me because you are faithful and righteous.
2 Don’t put your servant on trial, for no one is innocent before you.
3 My enemy has chased me. He has knocked me to the ground and forces me to live in darkness like those in the grave.
4 I am losing all hope; I am paralyzed with fear.
5 I remember the days of old. I ponder all your great works and think about what you have done.
6 I lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain. Interlude
7 Come quickly, LORD, and answer me, for my depression deepens. Don’t turn away from me, or I will die.
8 Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you.
9 Rescue me from my enemies, LORD ; I run to you to hide me.
10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.
11 For the glory of your name, O LORD, preserve my life. Because of your faithfulness, bring me out of this distress.
12 In your unfailing love, silence all my enemies and destroy all my foes, for I am your servant.

Inspired

creativity-819371_1920.jpg

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“There will always be times where you will lack the inspiration or desire to pursue Christ. Do the work anyway.”~TB

Plateau

Everyone experiences a feeling of stagnation or plateau when developing their relationship with God. More often than not it’s due to us disconnecting from Him because we’re off trying to accomplish our own agendas. Friends, remember His will and plan for your life. I can guarantee you that when you allow God to lead, His plan will always bring a better outcome than any plan you could imagine. When you start to feel bored or uninspired, that’s when you need to speak to Him the most.

Have a talk with God

Prayer is like a casual conversation with the wisest being in existence. You don’t have to be ceremonial or ritualistic about it. Come to Him as you are and He will delight in your humility. There are times where I just say, “God, what gives?” and will air out my grievances honestly and openly. When I’m done ranting, I then listen and am inspired by the response! Friends, you can only get answers from God when you communicate with Him regularly. Don’t get too bold in your own thinking, trust that God’s answers are better than yours and you’ll find an infinite well of inspiration in your Heavenly Father.

Today’s Question

Are you talking to God or are you only listening to yourself?

Psalm 142

1 I cry out to the LORD ; I plead for the LORD ’s mercy.
2 I pour out my complaints before him and tell him all my troubles.
3 When I am overwhelmed, you alone know the way I should turn. Wherever I go, my enemies have set traps for me.
4 I look for someone to come and help me, but no one gives me a passing thought! No one will help me; no one cares a bit what happens to me.
5 Then I pray to you, O LORD . I say, “You are my place of refuge. You are all I really want in life.
6 Hear my cry, for I am very low. Rescue me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me.
7 Bring me out of prison so I can thank you. The godly will crowd around me, for you are good to me.”

Operator Error

organization-2478211_1920 (1).jpg

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“Stop focusing on what you’re not and rejoice in who you are.”~TB

Less than

Many of you are operating on false feedback loops that are hindering your growth with God. At some point in your life, someone made you feel inferior, or less than. This feeling of lack, this deficit, it is a lie. Yes, as humans, we are flawed beings. However, as children of God, we are wonderfully made and forgiven, with our own individual purpose and gifts, hand-picked by our Father in Heaven. No man can deny what God has given you. No evil can speak truths about your worth. If you’re feeling weak, less than, or not good enough, know that these are not proclamations from God. Ditch your negative mentalities as you are free in Christ.

Greater than

With God, you are part of something more wonderful and more precious than any amount of riches this world contains. Through Him, you are greater than your mistakes, greater than your shortcomings, and greater than any obstacle the devil may throw your way. Knowing these important truths– which are reinforced through the reading of the Bible– you can clearly see what the opposition so desperately tries to hide from you: you are free! Who told you to live in misery, anguish, and fear? Friends, surely it was not from God. Consider the source of mindset! When you fill your thoughts and minds with the Word of God, the truth takes over the falsehoods, allowing you to see how great you truly are. Step out into your greatness.

Today’s Question

Are you great or are you experiencing an operator error?

Psalm 141

1 O LORD, I am calling to you. Please hurry! Listen when I cry to you for help!
2 Accept my prayer as incense offered to you, and my upraised hands as an evening offering.
3 Take control of what I say, O LORD, and guard my lips.
4 Don’t let me drift toward evil or take part in acts of wickedness. Don’t let me share in the delicacies of those who do wrong.
5Let the godly strike me! It will be a kindness! If they correct me, it is soothing medicine. Don’t let me refuse it. But I pray constantly against the wicked and their deeds.
6 When their leaders are thrown down from a cliff, the wicked will listen to my words and find them true.
7 Like rocks brought up by a plow, the bones of the wicked will lie scattered without burial.
8 I look to you for help, O Sovereign LORD . You are my refuge; don’t let them kill me.
9 Keep me from the traps they have set for me, from the snares of those who do wrong.
10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, but let me escape.

Follow Through

flag-1645262_1920.jpg

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“Wherever God sends you, whatever job He gives you, be sure to follow through.”~TB

Unorthodox

In the eyes of man, God’s ways and plans for your future may appear to be foolish to your peers. If He’s given you a purpose or a plan, follow through. Because we are unable to understand the infinite perspective of God, we can talk ourselves out of amazing opportunities. Of course, with these opportunities comes the potential for great setbacks.

Obstacles

The devil will always try and find a way to disrupt the joy and peace in your life. This is especially true when you are operating in an assignment from the Lord. My point in saying this is that obstacles will always happen. It’s why we must arm ourselves with the Word so that when opposition comes, we know to avert our gaze and focus on the task at hand. Friends, life is easy for no one, persevere anyway.

Finish Well

So, no matter how obscure or miraculous your work for God is, follow through and finish well. Avoid the pitfalls and traps laid out by the evil one. The truth is, his distractions cannot harm you, there merely exist to get you to fumble your task. Learn to ignore the noise. When you walk and talk with God regularly, you build up the discernment to finish the job. Develop your relationship with Christ to follow through with the call He’s placed on your life.

Today’s Question

Are you following through or full of excuses?

1 O LORD, rescue me from evil people. Protect me from those who are violent,
2 those who plot evil in their hearts and stir up trouble all day long.
3 Their tongues sting like a snake; the venom of a viper drips from their lips. Interlude
4 O LORD, keep me out of the hands of the wicked. Protect me from those who are violent, for they are plotting against me.
5 The proud have set a trap to catch me; they have stretched out a net; they have placed traps all along the way. Interlude
6 I said to the LORD, “You are my God!” Listen, O LORD, to my cries for mercy!
7 O Sovereign LORD, the strong one who rescued me, you protected me on the day of battle.
8LORD, do not let evil people have their way. Do not let their evil schemes succeed, or they will become proud. Interlude
9 Let my enemies be destroyed by the very evil they have planned for me.
10 Let burning coals fall down on their heads. Let them be thrown into the fire or into watery pits from which they can’t escape.
11 Don’t let liars prosper here in our land. Cause great disasters to fall on the violent.
12 But I know the LORD will help those they persecute; he will give justice to the poor.
13 Surely righteous people are praising your name; the godly will live in your presence.

Gratitude

heart-1318850_1920 (1).jpg

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“When you dwell on all that God has done for you, staying in a gracious mindset becomes easier.”~TB

In Spite Of

In spite of our flaws, misdeeds, doubt, doublemindedness, and the like, God still loves every single one of us. Think about that for a second. No matter what we do, how good or bad, we will always have a connection to Christ. That type of love is unquantifiable! Friends, be grateful that He is so loving, especially to a population that will never have the greatest track record.

Pass it On

As you know the Truth, live in peace, and practice gratitude amongst one another. Let the offenses pass you by, forgive quickly and freely, and meditate on God’s goodness daily. It is by practicing the grace and mercy of the Lord that changes the hearts and minds of others. There’s no need to be mean or defend yourself. God sees all. So let him see you practice His teachings, sharing the Good News.

Today’s Question

Are you being grateful or are you looking for the next best thing?

Psalm 139

1 O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me.
2 You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
3 You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do.
4 You know what I am going to say even before I say it, LORD .
5 You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!
7 I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence!
8 If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there.
9 If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans,
10 even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me.
11 I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night—
12 but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you.
13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
16You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!
18 I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!
19 O God, if only you would destroy the wicked! Get out of my life, you murderers!
20 They blaspheme you; your enemies misuse your name.
21 O LORD, shouldn’t I hate those who hate you? Shouldn’t I despise those who oppose you?
22 Yes, I hate them with total hatred, for your enemies are my enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
