Devine Radio Frequency

turntable-1337986_1920.jpg

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

“It is amazing what we can learn and accomplish when we quiet the worldly noise to focus and tune into God’s heavenly radio” ~ TB

Tune Out

Listen carefully to what you’re being told and by whom. Evil and the world will fill your hearts with fear and anguish. We are lead to believe that we are deficient. Sin markets its wares by tricking people into believing they need things they have no business even desiring. When we fail to tune out the noisy worldly radio, we jam the Biblical frequencies that provide us with the tools and resources to live according to His will.

Tune in

When we begin to quiet the noise around ourselves,  we will see how many false beliefs the world has instilled within us. No, we are imperfect. However, when we tune into the Holy Radio, God silences our fears by imprinting the truth on our hearts and souls. We are His. We are not alone. We can fulfill our purpose in Christ. Take the first few minutes of your day to commit time to Him. His signal cannot be ignored forever, all you have to do is tune in.

Question of the day

Are you tuned into God’s message or are you playing the devil’s song on repeat?

Psalm 61

1 O God, listen to my cry! Hear my prayer! 2 From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety, 3 for you are my safe refuge, a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me. 4 Let me live forever in your sanctuary, safe beneath the shelter of your wings! Interlude 5 For you have heard my vows, O God. You have given me an inheritance reserved for those who fear your name. 6 Add many years to the life of the king! May his years span the generations! 7 May he reign under God’s protection forever. May your unfailing love and faithfulness watch over him. 8 Then I will sing praises to your name forever as I fulfill my vows each day.

Comfortably Dumb

ape-159201_1280

Hi Peeps,

Today’s Quote

Don’t be comforted by the sweet empty words of the world for there is one truth and many falsehoods. Make no mistake, there is nothing more detestable than a false Christian.~TB

Sweet Nothings

Christians have become lazy and complacent, pretending as if being preached at for an hour a week is what following Jesus is all about. We dumb ourselves down when we fail to cultivate a personal relationship with God. You cannot successfully navigate a fallen world when you are too lazy to pick up the Bible.  Like a calf being fattened for slaughter, we minimize our sin, creating false personas to appease our peers with our “pure christian lifestyle”. Do not be fooled, God is not an accessory, nor is He a trinket we can use to tout superiority over nonbelievers.

Inconvenient Truth

God created man; man did not create God. We must fit into His plan and not the other way around. Walking the path of Jesus is filled with rejection and criticism from the world. True Christianity calls for us to take up the cross daily and examine our own hearts and minds. Stop waiting for someone to tell you who God is and go straight to the Source. There is only one way to enter His kingdom and that is through the sacrifice of His son, Jesus. No “universe”, “energy source”, or “good vibes” can help you. Don’t be the fool at the pearly gates with one of those excuses. There is no excuse for ignorance.

Today’s Question

When are you going to give up your way to follow His way?

Psalm 60

1 You have rejected us, O God, and broken our defenses. You have been angry with us; now restore us to your favor. 2 You have shaken our land and split it open. Seal the cracks, for the land trembles. 3 You have been very hard on us, making us drink wine that sent us reeling.4 But you have raised a banner for those who fear you— a rallying point in the face of attack. Interlude 5 Now rescue your beloved people. Answer and save us by your power. 6 God has promised this by his holiness: “I will divide up Shechem with joy. I will measure out the valley of Succoth. 7 Gilead is mine, and Manasseh, too. Ephraim, my helmet, will produce my warriors, and Judah, my scepter, will produce my kings. 8 But Moab, my washbasin, will become my servant, and I will wipe my feet on Edom and shout in triumph over Philistia.” 9 Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will bring me victory over Edom? 10 Have you rejected us, O God? Will you no longer march with our armies? 11 Oh, please help us against our enemies, for all human help is useless. 12 With God’s help we will do mighty things, for he will trample down our foes.

Waters

man-1246233_1920
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Notice how water travels in circles, currents, streams, oceans, ice, and steam to cut, clean, maintain, and deliver God’s message of sustenance and salvation.” ~ Jon Barnes

Travels

While hiking and traveling around the world, I noticed how the water keeps moving from the mountains into the seas.  Like air, it never stops doing its job of cleaning, circulating, and rotating.  No one can control the weather or its purpose, as it brings what the planet needs from God. Travel with God to get what you need and help others along the way.

Cuts

Notice how the water cuts into the land in such an artistic way that the Hand of God can be seen on the ground as well as in the sky, clouds, and Heavens.  Things are always moving, painting, blowing, and flowing like orchestrated musical visual notes of God’s daily compositions of all styles, with all cultures, and all creation.  Wash away negative attitudes and cut new opportunities with your smile.

Art

The art of God’s Ways can clearly be seen anywhere you go if you open up your eyes and mind to see His DNA and thumbprints on all things.  It is quite overwhelming because I would take pictures and videos of everything all of the time.  I had to leave my camera home so that I could just enjoy my mind, body, heart, spirit, senses, and eyes to capture the wonder and splendor of God’s Creations, Science, and Art to let God’s blessings and glory circle around my being.
Today’s Question
Are you studying, sharing, and appreciating God’s Art Forms on a daily basis or are you walking around incarcerated with electronics, cell phones, TVs, movies, and technology of artificial life?

Psalm 59

For the choir director: A psalm of David, regarding the time Saul sent soldiers to watch David’s house in order to kill him. To be sung to the tune “Do Not Destroy!”

Rescue me from my enemies, O God.
Protect me from those who have come to destroy me.
Rescue me from these criminals;
    save me from these murderers.
They have set an ambush for me.
Fierce enemies are out there waiting, Lord,
though I have not sinned or offended them.
I have done nothing wrong,
yet they prepare to attack me.
Wake up! See what is happening and help me!
Lord God of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel,
wake up and punish those hostile nations.
Show no mercy to wicked traitors. Interlude
They come out at night,
    snarling like vicious dogs
    as they prowl the streets.
Listen to the filth that comes from their mouths;
    their words cut like swords.
“After all, who can hear us?” they sneer.
But Lord, you laugh at them.
You scoff at all the hostile nations.
You are my strength; I wait for you to rescue me,
for you, O God, are my fortress.
10 In his unfailing love, my God will stand with me.
He will let me look down in triumph on all my enemies.
11 Don’t kill them, for my people soon forget such lessons;
stagger them with your power, and bring them to their knees,
    O Lord our shield.
12 Because of the sinful things they say,
because of the evil that is on their lips,
let them be captured by their pride,
    their curses, and their lies.
13 Destroy them in your anger!
    Wipe them out completely!
Then the whole world will know
that God reigns in Israel. Interlude
14 My enemies come out at night,
    snarling like vicious dogs
    as they prowl the streets.
15 They scavenge for food
    but go to sleep unsatisfied.
16 But as for me, I will sing about your power.
Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love.
For you have been my refuge,
a place of safety when I am in distress.
17 O my Strength, to you I sing praises,
for you, O God, are my refuge,
the God who shows me unfailing love.

Jonathan

Hurts

silhouette-67202_1920.jpgHi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
Keep being kind Peeps, even when it hurts, because one act of kindness can make you hold back the tears of joy, after touching someone’s life so much at the right time.”  ~ Jon Barnes

Many

Many people are in need of truth, hope, charity, and love because greedy people are squeezing the life out of our society.  People scrambling to find and work two part-time jobs are finding it difficult to make ends meet.  Everyone can’t be millionaires. So why set up the poor to fail, by being overworked and underpaid with no health care and benefits?

Systemic

The challenges poor people face are too many to mention and I don’t have the answers.  But God gives us instructions on how to reach out to everyone, to do fair business, trade, and services.  However, there are those who will use every opportunity to make a buck and not share the wealth in a realistic fashion.  let’s try giving people a hand up.

Problems

Teaching people how to work through their problems and giving them fair jobs and wages is how we are Biblically commanded to oversee companies.  However, part-time jobs that strategically short change workers into a cycle of poverty are plaguing many working adults. It is not fair and no one seems to care!
Today’s Question
Do you pay people what they are worth or do you pick their pockets, expecting God to look the other way?

Psalm 52

For the choir director: A psalm[a] of David, regarding the time Doeg the Edomite said to Saul, “David has gone to see Ahimelech.”

Why do you boast about your crimes, great warrior?
Don’t you realize God’s justice continues forever?
All day long you plot destruction.
    Your tongue cuts like a sharp razor;
you’re an expert at telling lies.
You love evil more than good
and lies more than truth. Interlude
You love to destroy others with your words,
    you liar!
But God will strike you down once and for all.
He will pull you from your home
and uproot you from the land of the living. Interlude
The righteous will see it and be amazed.
    They will laugh and say,
“Look what happens to mighty warriors
who do not trust in God.
They trust their wealth instead
and grow more and more bold in their wickedness.”
But I am like an olive tree, thriving in the house of God.
I will always trust in God’s unfailing love.
I will praise you forever, O God,
    for what you have done.
I will trust in your good name
in the presence of your faithful people.

Jonathan

Bored

book-791652_1920.jpg
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Your life is boring when you have accomplished nothing with what God has given you because you buried your talents in the dirt and wasted the time of development and mentoring.”  ~  Jon Barnes

Boarded

Walking with God is exciting with new adventures to face at every hand.  There is no time to be boring while walking by faith, not by sight!  The success of each mission is granted by each step you take in the right direction, as new doors open and close for your protection, growth, and maturity. There is no need for you to live in a spiritual house that is boarded up.

Game

Master the board game of boring by bringing your fresh ideas to God for approval. His guidance and confidence in your abilities to do good things will overwhelm you.  Just pick one of the great ideas God has given you and finish the job.  Practice makes perfect so play the game every day and listen to what God has to say.  Your playground will become more interesting, fresh, and new each morning.

Smile

Let God put a big, permanent smile on your face, as you love everyone around you, particularly your enemies, and enjoy the transformation of lives right before your very eyes.  That smile you have will make everyone else smile and work to do a better job.
Remain diligent and focused in your best effort and you’ll be remembered for the quality of work you produced.

Is your life boring because God is not present in your lifestyle?

Psalm 56

For the choir director: A psalm[a] of David, regarding the time the Philistines seized him in Gath. To be sung to the tune “Dove on Distant Oaks.”

O God, have mercy on me,
    for people are hounding me.
My foes attack me all day long.
I am constantly hounded by those who slander me,
and many are boldly attacking me.
But when I am afraid,
I will put my trust in you.
I praise God for what he has promised.
I trust in God, so why should I be afraid?
What can mere mortals do to me?
They are always twisting what I say;
they spend their days plotting to harm me.
They come together to spy on me—
watching my every step, eager to kill me.
Don’t let them get away with their wickedness;
in your anger, O God, bring them down.
You keep track of all my sorrows.[b]
You have collected all my tears in your bottle.
You have recorded each one in your book.
My enemies will retreat when I call to you for help.
This I know: God is on my side!
10 I praise God for what he has promised;
yes, I praise the Lord for what he has promised.
11 I trust in God, so why should I be afraid?
What can mere mortals do to me?
12 I will fulfill my vows to you, O God,
and will offer a sacrifice of thanks for your help.
13 For you have rescued me from death;
you have kept my feet from slipping.
So now I can walk in your presence, O God,
    in your life-giving light.

Love,

Jonathan

Operations

surgery-1822458_1920.jpg
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“I’m operating at that maximum capacity within all of my talents that God has given me and I suspect that He will give me more, as He makes judgment and adjustments in all of our lives right now.”  ~  Jon Barnes

By Faith

By Faith, new things happened this morning and the internal blessings were so real, visible, audible, physical, spiritual, and tangible that I began to cry and thank God for being so cool to me.  I can only talk about my experiences and hope that you all will have even better success in your walk with God.  Each day the facts of faith are for real to those who believe in Jesus.

By Walk

In your walk with God, He will prove and show you all the facts of life that you will need to operate within your faith and the Kingdom of God.  Signs and Wonders will follow you in the simplest of forms, yet they are epic and life-altering.  All you have to do is to tap into God and notice these simple things that we continually take for granted.  Big miracles are cool, but the smallest ones are just as powerful.

By Facts

If you are still alive, you will appreciate that fact more seriously and carefully, as our days are numbered and we all will leave this earth very soon.  Enjoy the facts of life and God’s blessings with the provision that he grants you so that someone can see God in your eyes and lifestyle.  Operating in the Kingdom of God makes your life special, unique, and fulfilled.

Psalm 55

For the choir director: A psalm[a] of David, to be accompanied by stringed instruments.

Listen to my prayer, O God.
Do not ignore my cry for help!
Please listen and answer me,
for I am overwhelmed by my troubles.
My enemies shout at me,
    making loud and wicked threats.
They bring trouble on me
    and angrily hunt me down.
My heart pounds in my chest.
The terror of death assaults me.
Fear and trembling overwhelm me,
    and I can’t stop shaking.
Oh, that I had wings like a dove;
then I would fly away and rest!
I would fly far away
to the quiet of the wilderness. Interlude
How quickly I would escape—
far from this wild storm of hatred.
Confuse them, Lord, and frustrate their plans,
for I see violence and conflict in the city.
10 Its walls are patrolled day and night against invaders,
but the real danger is wickedness within the city.
11 Everything is falling apart;
threats and cheating are rampant in the streets.
12 It is not an enemy who taunts me—
    I could bear that.
It is not my foes who so arrogantly insult me—
I could have hidden from them.
13 Instead, it is you—my equal,
    my companion and close friend.
14 What good fellowship we once enjoyed
as we walked together to the house of God.
15 Let death stalk my enemies;
let the grave[b] swallow them alive,
for evil makes its home within them.
16 But I will call on God,
and the Lord will rescue me.
17 Morning, noon, and night
I cry out in my distress,
and the Lord hears my voice.
18 He ransoms me and keeps me safe
from the battle waged against me,
    though many still oppose me.
19 God, who has ruled forever,
will hear me and humble them. Interlude
For my enemies refuse to change their ways;
    they do not fear God.
20 As for my companion, he betrayed his friends;
    he broke his promises.
21 His words are as smooth as butter,
but in his heart is war.
His words are as soothing as lotion,
    but underneath are daggers!
22 Give your burdens to the Lord,
and he will take care of you.
He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.
23 But you, O God, will send the wicked
down to the pit of destruction.
Murderers and liars will die young,
but I am trusting you to save me.

Love,

Jonathan

Profession

chef-1245676_1920.jpg
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“In your profession, you must train like a boxer or Olympic athlete to study and understand the story of your craft, so that you are prepared for the battle of the day.”  ~  Jon Barnes

Battle

Each day the battle is coming to you and a trained professional will conduct themselves well under the pressures and stress that will occur.  The more experience and preparation you have, the more likely you will succeed in your efforts.  The process may not be pretty or fun, but you had better get your work done.

Effort

The amount of effort you put into learning about God and doing what He says will net you the kind of results that make sense for you and your family.  The quality of love, respect, and obedience will help to facilitate smother up and down transitions in life as well.  God measures your faith, motives, and intentions all of the time with daily tests to prove His Point and your lack of preparation.

Learn

Learn to prepare, study, and prove God’s Words and Works in your own life.  Your faith should produce measured results of love, hope, charity, goodness, kindness, patience, long-suffering, and meekness for all to see in your lifestyle.  Otherwise, you haven’t learned anything.  You must put these acts into daily practice for professional & spiritual growth.

Psalm 54

For the choir director: A psalm[a] of David, regarding the time the Ziphites came and said to Saul, “We know where David is hiding.” To be accompanied by stringed instruments.

Come with great power, O God, and rescue me!
    Defend me with your might.
Listen to my prayer, O God.
    Pay attention to my plea.
For strangers are attacking me;
violent people are trying to kill me.
They care nothing for God. Interlude
But God is my helper.
    The Lord keeps me alive!
May the evil plans of my enemies be turned against them.
Do as you promised and put an end to them.
I will sacrifice a voluntary offering to you;
I will praise your name, O Lord,
    for it is good.
For you have rescued me from my troubles
and helped me to triumph over my enemies.

Jonathan

Sensors

blitzer-502970_1920.jpg
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“God gives us senses to use and detect good and evil things in our lives so that we can make the proper adjustments to correct our own problems, when our sensors sense what He is trying to teach us.”  ~  Jon Barnes

Sin

Sin has no friends and its popularity is but an illusion of fake happiness, joy, fun, and splendor in the grass.  In the beginning, middle, and end of it, you lose!  There is no hope for people who sin and turn their backs on God because when you die in your sins without God’s blessing of repentance, you lived your best life walking and talking with the devil and not God.  You are without excuse!

Since

Since many of us do not use our common sensors properly, one can easily identify people with little common sense.  After years and decades of people traveling down this evil path, your body tends to replace good behaviors with destructive behaviors.  This negative effect takes a toll on your mental, physical, and spiritual health because you taught yourself how to override God’s laws, rules, and commandments of love, justice, honor, and ethics. Stop the foolishness.

Override

When you give evil the opportunity to master your mind, body, life, soul, and spirit, your fruit looks, smells, tastes, and feels corrupt, compromised, and condemned. Your hopelessness is a result of the many wasted days and nights of self-abuse, not listening to God, following the devil, and making your life a history of wrong choices.  However, if you humble yourself and pray that God delivers you from your own sensors and bad choices, perhaps God will give you one last chance.
Today’s Question
Did God give you a mindset to change from your evil wicked ways and are you still disobedient?

Psalm 53

For the choir director: A meditation; a psalm[a] of David.

Only fools say in their hearts,
    “There is no God.”
They are corrupt, and their actions are evil;
not one of them does good!
God looks down from heaven
    on the entire human race;
he looks to see if anyone is truly wise,
    if anyone seeks God.
But no, all have turned away;
    all have become corrupt.[b]
No one does good,
    not a single one!
Will those who do evil never learn?
They eat up my people like bread
and wouldn’t think of praying to God.
Terror will grip them,
terror like they have never known before.
God will scatter the bones of your enemies.
You will put them to shame, for God has rejected them.
Who will come from Mount Zion to rescue Israel?
    When God restores his people,
Jacob will shout with joy, and Israel will rejoice.

Love,

Jonathan

Someone

city-1487891_1920.jpg
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Someone has to be brilliant in your family, so why can’t it be you with Christ shining in your life!” ~ Jon Barnes

Rather

God would rather you be hot or cold, good or bad, in or out, but this fake Christianity, false stuff, and man-made religious stuff that God does not respect or honor will not hold up in The Court of Pearly Gates!  God would rather you follow Him, honor His ways, commandments, and laws through Jesus.

Interesting

Interestingly enough, most of us are always following our stuff and we try to sprinkle a little God Dust over us as a cover-up, self-made, man-made tactical approach to damage control, hypocrisy, and lies.  God’s Court System is bigger, better, and smarter than any court system in the Universe and beyond.  There are no hung juries in Heaven with God as the Supreme Court Justice!

Understands

Fortunately, God understands our moves, motives, madness, and He has the best solutions to all of our problems, but will we listen to Him?  God is the Chess Master and we are the pieces on the board.  According to History, mankind has been evil since the beginning of time and notice how badly we have treated each other. Notice that it is the Goodness of God that sustains humanity and not we ourselves.
Today’s Question
Can a stranger see the brilliant light of Christ shining in your life every day and anywhere?

Psalm 52

For the director of music. A maskil of David. When Doeg the Edomite had gone to Saul and told him: “David has gone to the house of Ahimelek.”

1 Why do you boast of evil, you mighty hero? Why do you boast all day long, you who are a disgrace in the eyes of God?
2 You who practice deceit, your tongue plots destruction; it is like a sharpened razor.
3 You love evil rather than good, falsehood rather than speaking the truth.
4 You love every harmful word, you deceitful tongue!
5 Surely God will bring you down to everlasting ruin: He will snatch you up and pluck you from your tent; he will uproot you from the land of the living.
6 The righteous will see and fear; they will laugh at you, saying,
7 “Here now is the man who did not make God his stronghold but trusted in his great wealth and grew strong by destroying others!”
8 But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God’s unfailing love for ever and ever.
9 For what you have done I will always praise you in the presence of your faithful people. And I will hope in your name, for your name is good.

Mad

man-794514_1920.jpg
Hi Peeps,
Today’s Quote
“Stop getting mad at each new challenge, as if you don’t have a solution that fits.”  ~ Jon Barnes

Energize

Wasted energy on being upset will not help you learn, grow, and think on the good things God has planned for you.  The opposite occurs, with your anger stealing all of your hopes, dreams, love, and energy to do good work.  Many of us lose out on time, success, and love because we chose to live with a negative cloud over our heads and in our hearts.  For many, it rains everywhere they go!

Prayer

Occupy your mind, body, heart, spirit, and soul with prayers to God when you are happy, sad, mad, confessed, and unsure of what actions to take.  Talk to God whenever you like.  This step of prayer is the key to unlock the mysteries of faith in action.  The work you do will bring great results that will blow your mind and keep God smiling upon your life.  Your problems will escalate when you stop talking and praying to God.

Faith

By faith we give, love, help, serve, learn, live, and grow into the wonderful people God would have us to become.  This light from God connects to us, flows through us, and reconnects to all of the people you come in contact with.  What people do with this light becomes their choice to make and you cannot be mad at their choices.
Today’s Question
Are you using your energy to get the work done or are you always critical, upset, and mad at the world and God?

Psalm 47

For the choir director: A psalm of the descendants of Korah.

Come, everyone! Clap your hands!
Shout to God with joyful praise!
For the Lord Most High is awesome.
He is the great King of all the earth.
He subdues the nations before us,
putting our enemies beneath our feet.
He chose the Promised Land as our inheritance,
the proud possession of Jacob’s descendants, whom he loves. Interlude
God has ascended with a mighty shout.
The Lord has ascended with trumpets blaring.
Sing praises to God, sing praises;
sing praises to our King, sing praises!
For God is the King over all the earth.
    Praise him with a psalm.
God reigns above the nations,
    sitting on his holy throne.
The rulers of the world have gathered together
with the people of the God of Abraham.
For all the kings of the earth belong to God.
    He is highly honored everywhere.

Love,

Jonathan
